Most of the Co-Op's I hand around at these days are food Co-Op's so going to a farm one reminded me of going to these when my parents would go to them for their ranch supplies sometimes. The main idea was to kill a bit of time and the hope of maybe seeing some baby chicks even though they are often in these stores on a seasonal basis. Well indeed we did get to see the baby chicks. Many were older at this point and had their own feathers but there were younger furry ones too. The older ones yellow fur was gone but they were still very cute. All different kinds of different chickens here also so quite a nice variety of types. Don't handle them on your own as the signs indicate as a staff member needs to be reached before going further with that. There are lots of other inventory for your agricultural needs and in my mind would be a great place to go to stock up on supplies. read more

I love the Co-Op. Somehow, they always have everything I need despite SEEMING tiny. Last year, I bought some turkeys and ducks for the first time - which means I go to the Co-Op pretty regularly - food, oyster shell, straw, bug treats, etc... I love that they're ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. Last year, I wanted a specific kind of duck and they helped me get an appointment for the specific time when they were coming in. Same for the turkeys - they worked with me via email to set up the appointment. It was beyond everything I expected, especially considering COVID craziness. If they're ever out of something at this location, they'll check if they have it at the Monroe location (a quick, 7-8 min drive). Again - always ready and willing to help you out. A big draw is that they have no-ethanol fuel - the preferred fuel for small engines (lawnmowers, weed-whackers... etc.) and you can fill up propane here. So, it can get pretty busy. Completely unrelated to ducks and turkeys, I recently built a gym in my garage - due to COVID - and Tractor Supply was the premier supplier of 3/4 inch horse stall mats - the preferred DIY gym flooring solution. These mats are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK... and people camp out on the page checking for stock and are driving 100's miles to get them. It's nuts. However, Snohomish Co-Op recently got a bunch in stock. I don't know if this is something they usually have, but I appreciated them getting them in! It's just such a useful place, and I really appreciate it! read more

My boyfriend and I got our child (Pearl) here a year ago. Pearl has been a great duck, and has had no health/aggression issues. She even has learned a few tricks. I bumped them up from 3 stars to 4 stars because theres an older guy (basically hes not a teenager) who loads the feed in our car, and damnit, hes the best feed loader in the WORLD. He stacks it evenly and neatly, he's also super friendly. Most feed stores do not load feed correctly, which is annoying because then you can't see out the back of your car and the weight is uneven. This guy deserves a raise. read more

I have been here in the past and they have been alright. Today, my boyfriend and I went in there to ask some questions regarding baby chicks. I walk right into the store and straight up to one of the employees (A taller younger girl with blonde hair in a ponytail) and as soon as I get up to her to ask a question she turns her back on me and begins to talk with another employee about non-work related stuff. After a minute she turned to me and asked what I needed and we asked if they had any baby chicks. I had to rephrase the words "baby chicks" about three times before she understood what I even was talking about. Then as I was checking out the checker (a younger girl with longer dark hair) treated me like an idiot for asking a general question, about a product. I would have recommended this place yesterday but after today I highly recommended going elsewhere if these 2 are working! read more

Wasted time and wasted money- thanks, Snohomish Co-op! If you want to waste $300+, go buy one of their leaky stock tanks! The "highest quality" on the market according to them, lol. Two employees let us know that they could come pick up the tank and replace it with a new one, but we'd need to wait to speak to the manager first. We were told she'd call back Monday and we never got a call back. My husband finally called back today (tues) and Rachel the manager just so happened to answer. She then told us she'd have to charge us to have a truck come pick up the broken tank that she sold us.... we've already spent over 300 dollars at your business, on a product that LEAKS... yet you're going to charge US to pick up your leaky tank??? Good way to lose a customer. We'll never be back to shop here, or recommend it to our friends, unless they can resolve this 175 pound headache. read more

My favorite place to go! The selection of products is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. They frequently have coupons available on the shelves or check stands. This Snohomish location loses one point because I've had a couple of experiences at the register that resulted in me having to go back for a price adjustment or they didn't credit me for a coupon. I absolutely love the service I get here at the Snoh Co Op. Mike Lukjanowicz is the General Manager and he is innovative and improving the Co Op more and more every day. He is bringing in local products as much as possible. His Snohomish store manager Makenna Connors instills amazing friendly customer service from the top down. The staff their is super helpful and if they cannot help they will tell you where to go for help. I really like the huge selection of supplies for my dogs, to my chickens . This is the go to place for all your local needs from propane to livestock supplies, to garden supplies . My favorite is the Non Ethanol gas that you can purchase for your car and all your small gas engine needs . I give this place a 5 star and I have been shopping here for over 43 years since my parents brought introduced me to it , now I introduced my son to it. Thanks for a great experience . read more

I love this place. The staff is helpful (there's often a teenage boy around to carry things to your car) and there is a real community feel (the Christmas party is not to be missed). Decently priced, has a great variety of items to choose from. My only problem is lack of customer service. The items I purchase are usually around 50 pounds each. I have yet to be offered help out. Dont get me wrong, I do ask for the help and they will find someone... I just think that it would be nice if they offered before I had to ask. read more

I haven't actually been inside yet but I am sure this place has some pretty cool stuff. My reason for stopping here is BIODIESEL! This is the closest filling station to my house. The price is comparable with what other stations charge. I work in Bothell though so this is on my way home. There are other stations - one in Kirkland (limited hours - would have to fill up at lunch) -many in Seattle but out of my way and a couple in Marysvile but they are also out of my way (I live in Lake Stevens). The filling station is open 24 hours and you can use your credit/debit card. One of these days I may actually go inside but for now I will happily just filler-up. read more

I buy most the supplies for my hobby farm from this store. They have very nice and helpful staff. I have been helped several times by this gall, I think her name is Katherine. She seems to know everything, she knows about goats and what hoof clipper to use, she knows what salt has selenium but no copper and is good for sheep, she knows how a barn door is built and would explain me in detail exactly what hardware I need and where to put each piece, she is the real deal. Also, the guys from the docking area are very good, always smiling while loading the heavy stuff for me. When I ordered a piece a railing and they could not have it in time, a gentlemen Jeff called me a day before to let me know about the delay and to work an alternative solution. I go here for ethanol free gasoline fill ups for my 2-cycle outdoor equipment, to get lawn fertilizer and pick-up lawn seed. I really like their MV Top Choice lawn seed. I drive up from near Woodinville because I think the quality of the products they sell are worth it. Easy enough to get in and out but it's probably wise to plan on visiting at a time of day when it's not expected to be extremely busy. Weekend mornings I can get in and out in about 10 minutes. read more
