What have I been waiting for? I've been eyeing this place for some time now on my way to eat at another establishment a bit further North of here. Let me tell you, have I been missing out. Frazer's is now my new favorite breakfast joint. The service is excellent! Our waitress was polite, friendly and thorough. She was very particular about clearing AND cleaning the tables AND even the seats after patrons leave. The food is simple, fresh and appears to be made by people who care. I was very pleased to see that it was not at all overly priced either. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying top dollar for top end products but this is a real value. I had steak and eggs which were made exactly as I specified. Very rare beef and seasoned perfectly. My dining partner had bacon that wasn't over cooked or cooked ahead of time like some other place and the eggs were done perfectly. Everything came at once and VERY hot. The place had a good feel with no weird political statements being forced down my throat (locals will know what I am referring to here) and is very clean all the way around, restroom included. Not much to choose from on Route 5 in the Windsor, VT area. Driving thru spotted Frazer's Place and stopped. From the outside this place doesn't exactly inspire dining confidence. Just goes to show that you can't judge a book by the cover. Inside the dining area and restrooms were spotless, service was prompt and provided by a server with a great personality. We all ordered luncheon items that were perfectly prepared. Seafood was especially good! read more

This place isn't anything special, but today I witnessed the girl at the ice cream window repeatedly lick her finger and wipe ice cream off the side of my wife's dish. Absolutely disgusting, and we will not be back. read more

My girlfriend and I have been wanting this try the food here for close to two years. For 3 summers we have gotten 90 percent of our ice cream here and although this year it is a little soft it is always outstanding and good value. So we tried the food last night... Maybe they have off days and that is reason for negative reviews. But we were both impressed. I got the 10 dollar fish and chips and it was great. 4 or 5 pieces of delicious smaller cuts of haddock, perfectly cooked. Piping hot to the last bite. The fry's aren't really my style as they are not crispy but they were fresh, hot and great with green Tabasco, so no marks off. Girlfriends wrap looked great. She liked it and took half to work the next day. Only mediocre thing was the coleslaw but there was nothing wrong with it so I am sticking with my 5 stars because this place deserves an least 4 as an average. The place is not fancy but very clean, and painted red and yellow McD's colours. Service was not the fastest but totally within reason and we were checked up on twice to make sure all was well. We'll try dessert next time because it looked great. We will return, so long to the unfriendly place downtown. We were loyal customers, gave 3 chances when we noticed a change, and they struck out after the 3rd when the service was basically... "screw you". by far the very worst fiswh and chips I have ever... They told me 20 minutes I went to pick up at 20 minutes everthing was cold and they charged me more than was posted... 4 pieces of the very tiniest fish I have ever each piece had about 2 TBS in a cold batter Never go back again I feel sick read more

I love it here! The wait staff is like family, the cook is a clown, and the boss-man is very personable. Not to mention the food is great, and very well priced! I will continue to frequent this place for a very long time to come. :) read more

Ordered 2 ice creams that tasted horrible! Think it was leftover from last summer. Not good!

Had breakfast there once and it was mediocre. Service wasn't very fast. Then we tried dinner and it was almost inedible. Service was very slow, people who arrived after us got served first. We won't go back. They are advertising maple creemies in March, what's up with that? read more

Tried twice in one weekend to have breakfast there, we waited at the door for more than 5 minutes each time, with at least 2 people walking by knowing we were there. When someone did speak to us, we were told 15 min wait, we tried asking about the outside tables, but we were ignored. Seems like if you aren't a 'regular' you aren't worth their time, which is sad being they are following in such wonderful foot steps from Stubs and Laura's.. Driving from Vermont to NJ. I found this place while looking for gas. Great food, great ice cream!

My family and I were looking for a place to get a late breakfast after checking out of our hotel. My Dad loves sausage gravy and I had seen they had it on their menu so we decided to give it a try. It looks a little run down from the outside and the seating area is pretty small and not very attractive, but those are the only negative things I can say. Prices were very reasonable, portions very generous, and the food was very good. The young wait staff was the best part of the experience though. They were polite, friendly and attentive throughout our meal. After breakfast my 3 year old declared he wanted a cupcake. We saw that they had them on the menu for .50 so reasoning that they must be small and it was nearly lunch time anyway we said ok and he went up to the counter to ask for them, but apparently they don't usually have them at that time. He was really disappointed. The next thing we knew one of the waiters came out with a cupcake for my son and wouldn't even let us pay for it. If we're ever in the area again we will be back for sure. read more

Ate breakfast at Frazer's. We all ordered the omelet with toast and potatoes with choice of cheese. Perfectly done, generous amount of food, very friendly and attentive server. She apologized because we had to wait, but she didn't say what took so long. read more
