I wanted to love this place but the service was not great. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to get a delicious coffee before we went home. I asked the lady at the counter for a recommendation and she literally looked at me and said I don't know with a face like she couldn't care less. Very disappointing. A friend and I got the same iced latte and both think it didn't taste great. It was pretty good. Not bitter. I got a cinnamon roll which was pretty good. One friend got a danish and said it was amazing. The place is small but has a pretty good menu. I would say worth a try if you are local. I'm thinking my experience wasn't the usual. read more

We really liked this place, we visited twice over a long weekend visiting the area. It was easy and pleasant to sit outside with our dog and enjoy breakfast sandwiches and coffee. We even learned about "free shot Friday" and got extra shots of espresso in our drinks. It was nice you could order ahead, too. read more

As a Mets fan, they will be excused for adorning the cafe with Red Sox memorabilia. As a baseball fan I enjoyed it. We needed a quick bite, each having a cup of homemade pea soup(served with oysterette crackers). It was quite yummy with shredded ham throughout. We also had Griffen's ice cream (yummy too) and I had a mocha-latte. Our servers/barista (I think Karen was one, sorry, not good with names) were very helpful, friendly and inviting. Group conversation with the locals apparently encouraged. They also serve breakfast items, paninis and fresh baked goods. If you're in the area, do stop in. read more

Meh- Lobster Sliders: nice idea just didn't get that "fresh" lobster taste so they cover it up with hot pepper; Pea Soup: mine was a coagulated microwaved mess of what looked like two week old, been heated up twenty times brick mortar, also spicy! Service was pleasant but slow- seems like they make one coffee drink at a time. They do a lot of coffee drinks to go, so the ambience is less than relaxing. Super cute spot on the corner of Main St in Windsor, VT. Everyone was so friendly and nice! You can now enter inside to order (*take out only), there's seats outside which are perfect on a sunny day! Ordered "Breakfast Bagel Sandwich", everything bagel with 2 eggs and Cabot cheddar cheese Creme brulee latte Everything is locally made, definitely delicious and fresh! *Inside is Red Socks Baseball fans breakfast paradise (memorabilia is displayed all throughout the cafe) Definitely coming back as my go to when driving thru VT! The inside was super cute, very unique. From the Boston decor to handwritten menu and item boards. Very minimal indoor seating which isn't a problem to me personally, plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fall weather and drink my latte, which was easily one of the best I've had! The baked goods in the display case looked INSANELY good. I regret not ordering one of everything!! The only downside I can think of, and I guess I am kind of reaching, is that the food service is a tad slow. I don't mind waiting for a great drink or meal, and it was really delicious! But I definitely waited a bit longer than I was expecting. I nearly finished my drink in the time it took for my bagel to come out. It didn't ruin the experience, just an observation. Boston dreams is a nice little coffee in a good location. They feature an extensive menu of coffee, cappuccino and expression drinks. They also serve smoothies, sodas, shakes and floats. Boston dreams also serves ice cream which is very impressive. They feature their ice cream served over waffles which is a surprising good combination. Their pastries are top notch and they recently started sandwiches, paninis, and chili. They walls of the establishment are lined with Boston sports memorabilia. Most of which is for sale. Finally got a chance to pop into Windsor's newest coffee shop. They are also a sports memorabilia and ice cream shop. Sounds crazy but it totally works. They are located right on the corner of Main and State Streets in a nicely renovated brick building. The walls are covered in framed Boston Red Sox photos and there are a few tables and soft chairs. A comfy casual atmosphere with wifi. I had the maple latte based on another yelp recommendation and it was delicious, prepared perfectly by one of the owners. I'll definitely be back. read more

This is a nice little sports themed restaurant and take out place in downtown Windsor, VT. I have eaten here four times but I wasn't Yelping for the first three times. The restaurant itself is filled with Boston Red Sox sports memorabilia and is an interesting place to check out. The food is good here. I had a pulled pork panini sandwich and cappuccino. The pulled pork had a nice balance of pork taste and spice taste. The cappuccino looked and tasted quite good. They sell a few dishes for breakfast plus a selection of muffins, paninis and sandwiches. The drink board is quite extensive. For desert, they have a selection of cakes, cookies and ice cream. While I was eating, there was a steady stream of locals with most getting takeout. I spent a few minutes chatting with a visiting nurse this morning. On past visits, I have heard professors from a local college debating current issues. I like this place and will return the next time I am in Windsor. read more

Just stopped at Boston Dreams despite living in Windsor for almost 5 years I have never been there. I'm pretty addicted to Starbucks Iced Chai Latte, but I was not going to Lebanon today. And I've failed to replicate my own. So I went to Boston Dreams and ordered an iced chai. Any hot tea they make is available cold. The milk choices were whole, 2%, skim, almond, and soy if I remember correctly with an up-charge for the specialty milks. The flavor of their iced chai was very tea-y but with the appropriate chai taste-- Somewhere between a proper chai tea and the powdered mix taste which is my sweet spot. I prefer hot tea without milk so if the tea taste is too strong in my iced chai I don't like it. This was divine. They also offered some cinnamon and/or nutmeg sprinkled on top which was a lovely touch. read more

Vermont has a way of mixing things that shouldn't work and making them come out just fine. That is the case with a relatively new coffee shop/sports memorabilia place located in Windsor called Boston Dreams. The owners have had the sports thing going on for a number of years but recently changed its focus, morphing it into a coffee place, while keeping the banners, seats, signed baseballs and autographed photos as an important part of the business. Does this combination work? Some places it wouldn't. Here, though it's seems to function just fine. Although the seating area is a bit small it's cozy, bright, and doesn't seem too cramped. Coffee selections include the standards, roasted from premium beans, and specialty drinks, such as lattes and espresso, all priced rather competitively. In the local tradition of combining things that shouldn't work and making them tasty, they offer a tasty maple latte flavored with just the right amount of maple syrup not to overpower the coffee. My drinking companion felt that the mocha latte was too heavy on the chocolate but I didn't agree. Good coffee beverages all the way through. There is also a good selection of baked goods here and, although a bit pricier than I would have liked I found the bagels, in particular, to be quite satisfying. Before awarding them a fourth star I think I'll head back another time to try some more of the baked items and a different coffee selection. Meanwhile I'll also await the arrival of more memorabilia, look forward to my next visit and say that this unusual combination...seems to work really well. read more

It's a coffee shop with interesting Red Sox memorabilia that's a little more 'gallery' than something you'd find on Yawkee Way. I mean, if it were Yankees stuff I probably would have just turned around and walked out. It's a really cute place to have coffee and pastry or ice cream. Looks like you can purchase most of the Red Sox stuff, too, so you can kill two birds with one stone. The birds being a Blue Jay and an Oriole. read more
