Stopped here with our dog for some ice cream. They had some great soft serve flavors, limited but unique. We ended up getting maple/black raspberry twists and a pup cup. They had a few picnic tables in the shade that we were able to use, far away from the other diners and cars. read more

I had the Hawaiian Vermonter which was also delicious! The chicken breast was huge and just lightly breaded and then Vermont cheddar, grilled pineapple, maple bacon. Such a delicious combo! After we ordered a maple shake which was very tasty and unique...never have seen one before. Their flavors of ice cream was quite large. The pink peppermint stick was delicious. Apparently, this is what passes for decent food around here but pretty much anywhere else this place would be empty. But here as long as you don't mind being bitten to death by mosquitoes or sitting on hard wooden benches it's pretty much the only burger stand around. My wife wanted shrimp and fries, when I got back to the hotel room we realized they didn't include any tartar sauce or cocktail sauce which automatically goes with any fried shrimp meal at a fast food place on earth. The shrimp, were soggy anyway since they don't know how to ventilate or cut a hole in the top of their cardboard containers for fried food. I had eaten the coleslaw -- or at least tried to -- but it basically consisted of puréed cabbage, and some sugar. The texture was slimy and it lacked any flavor or seasoning. I wouldn't be writing this review, but when I went back, although they were kind enough to offer a replacement meal, (they get two stars instead of one star because of that gesture) I am virtually certain that the cook intentionally burned the living hell out of the french fries. (Or they're entirely incompetent) I wasn't in the mood to argue so I just left, but the picture here speaks for itself. read more

Amazingly good food! Good reasonably priced ice cream (Gifford's hard and soft serve). Four of us adults with two kids visited and we had three burgers and a fish sandwich. Fish sandwich was good and a large portion. Burgers were amazing. Highly recommend them and all the sandwiches came with fries which were equally good. Considering fries come with the burgers the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend their maple and boom burgers (sorry don't recall the exact name). Also the maple ice cream which was soft serve is very good and for what you pay for either small soft serve or small hard they dole out large portions. Highly recommend it and we might just pay another visit while in vermont. Worth noting is we are outside and did not go in so can't say how seating is. A review mentioned slow service and I thought our service was just fine speed wise. It isn't fast food and I'm sure they make the burgers to order so just need to be a bit patient. Everyone has an off day too. Another side note...while waiting for ice cream and deciding flavors multiple people recommended their ice cream and food and said they make the drive special to come there which says something too. read more

So SO happy we accidentally stumbled upon this place!! The food here is AMAZING!!! If you're looking for a place and don't know where to eat- definitely get food here! We were so surprised! Don't be fooled by the way this place looks. We had the SMOKEHOUSE MAPLE ANGUS BURGER W/ HAND-CUT FRIES and the BLACK RASPBERRY SHAKE. The maple burger was delicious! Perfectly cooked and maple infused into the bacon, sausage and mayo, but still not too sweet. The black raspberry shake was creamy perfection! Super sweet customer service! Reasonable prices! Looked for a spot for breakfast on way home from hot air balloon festival, and a spot down the road had too long of a wait. Found Fraser's Place further along the road, and what a hidden gem! I wasn't sure if it only offered outdoor seating (order & pickup window outside), and the friendly bikers outside let me know there was room inside. They were able to seat our party of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) inside right away, which was perfect for us with toddlers who quickly grow impatient. We all raved about our food! Delicious maple brown sugar French toast, corned beef hash, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches... Service (and fellow customers!) was super friendly and welcoming, especially to the kiddos. The breading could've used a bit of seasoning but not enough to knock points off. A great road side stop but comparably priced to the bigger restaurants despite outward appearance. Last time we were here on vacation 2 years ago we found this small restaurant on the side of the road. It was so small we passed it by twice. So we gave it a try and glad we did. All the food seems to be farm to table, very fresh. Since we were back in the are we had to go again and it did not disappoint. My wife and I ordered the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap, mine with Onion Rings hers with fries, my daughter had the Garden Salad with Buffalo Chicken. All she kept saying was how fresh her meal was, my other daughter had Grilled Cheese with Fries. All our food was awesome. Last time I had the Boom Boom Burger 2 years ago, also awesome. When we arrived there was a line outside for take out, luckily they had indoor seating available. Many locals know of this place because the food is so good. Even though they were very busy and we were strangers from out of town they treated like they knew us. Service was pleasant and efficient. We had to wait a little while for our food because they were so busy with take out and well worth it. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend Frazer's Place. If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be back. read more

I read all the reviews and thought let's go! The menu had many creative sounding options of sandwiches and burgers. I was also swayed to go because there were photos of crispy, thin onion rings in the reviews. We had a burger/fries and the chicken/bacon/cheese sandwich with onion rings. Both sandwiches came with lettuce, tomato and onions that were plump and juicy fresh. The chicken pineapple bacon cheese sandwich was juicy and tasted pretty good but nothing I'd say let's go get that again. The burger was also juicy and cooked well but again nothing I'd need to repeat. The hand cut fries were pretty good and had the skin on. The onion rings were the big disappointment and had a thick, mealy breading that fell apart and off the rings as we tried to dip them in the sauce. The service was friendly and the locale was pretty nostalgic in terms of growing up in the 70's. There was indoor booth and counter seating as well as outdoor picnic tables in the nearby field and near the counter. Cute place but won't be back even though we are local. There are so many better choices nearby. read more

Have been driving by this place for a month and finally decided to stop. I was hungry for a burger so ordered the Dustin double. This burger is huge. It was served with fries and everything was hot and fresh. My fries were crunchy and the burger was hot and very very tasty. If they make everything on their menu this well it would be awesome. I definitely will be back to try something different next visit November 20th, I came in for breakfast this morning and was not disappointed. I am so disappointed in my experience here. My husband and I just moved here so we were looking to explore and try a new restaurant for lunch. We came in and one of the waitresses was super friendly, and the other one was not. I totally understand. Having a bad day, so no biggie. Would I take issue it with is that the food was disgusting I got an under cooked burger and nothing was done to fix the problem. She simply took my tray of food and walked away. She didn't make any suggestions on how to fix the problem, she brought the bill and then gave a half ass*ed apology with a bored voice. The service was so bad that the other waitress who was super nice, had to check in on us a few times. I won't be returning. Super unhappy. read more
