Gyro and beefs were pretty good. Real strawberries in their shakes/malts. Yum! I would go back and try other items.

I got a sandwich here a few years ago, before it burned, and it was fantastic. I've driven by this place as few hundred times since then and this is the first time I've stopped in to eat. It was FANTASTIC! I ate inside because it's all new, clean, small but still spacious and my tuna melt was the best tuna melt I've ever had! I will DEFINITELY be back for another one! It's all self serve and everyone was super friendly. There wasn't one thing to dislike! I'm a fan now! read more

Fratellos 2 - Tina Tuna Melt - Hot Dogs Near Me - Rolling Mdws, Illinois

After eating Fratellos hotdogs for the past few months, I got them tonight from Portillo's. YUCK!!! The tomatoes were not fresh and mushy. The amount of relish that they put on the dogs made the buns mushy as well. I couldn't tasted any mustard either. They were just a huge disappointment. Lesson learned...from now on I only get my hotdogs at Fratellos!!! Also, it is much more convenient to order from Fratellos by phone and pickup my orders at the drive thru window. The service is fast and you'll always find a friendly face greeting you! read more

Fratellos 2 - Hot Dogs Near Me - Rolling Mdws, Illinois

Had a lovely time here. The person behind the counter was super nice and made the experience perfect. It was our first time here and if we're in the area again we're stopping by. The food was delicious. I had the Fratello's Dog and Cheese Fries and loved both. Boyfriend had the Italian Sub and loved it. read more

Can't say enough good things about Fratellos. Bill runs a great business. Great food and top notch service. Year round pepper and egg is delicious. He takes the time to get to know his regular customers. Thankful for a local establishment with a warm and welcoming feel. read more

Great Chicago style dogs and beefs. Giardinara is $1 extra, which seems high. Fries are unnecessarily expensive and always under-salted, but good. (I don't mind that much because the Employees are great, friendly, and smile). Drive thru is efficient and you get a free cookie. Overall very good! read more

I went to Rolling Meadows preschool as a child (around 1995-1996) and came to Fratellos all the time. We used to drive through and pick up food and then eat at the park near the library. I remember ordering beef sandwiches. I took my boyfriend through the drive thru as we were driving through Rolling Meadows. We hadn't eaten and I was in the mood for some nostalgia. I ordered a hot dog and he ordered a small fry. The hot dog was fresh and my boyfriend said he thought they were the best crinkle fries he ever had. I'm so glad I got to share an experience from my childhood with him. I didn't even know it was still there. The cashier was also super nice! Will definitely return. read more

Mouthwatering Philly Cheesesteak, Burgers and Strawberry Shakes! Wow, stopped by for a quick bite with my daughter for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, full of smiles, and the restaurant was clean and updated. You can tell this family owned business has a lot of regulars as we saw several of them coming in. I highly recommend ordering the Philly cheesesteak with mayo and hot peppers - it was awesome!!! read more

Amazing Food & Great Service. The owner is friendly & very welcoming every time I come to Fratello's 2. I highly recommend this place!!

I love this place... best Gyros ever. Hot dogs, cheese burgers, patty melt, onion rings. You can't go wrong. The owner is so friendly! And free cookies to end your meal! read more

Mediocre overpriced and questionable value. No fries with a $9 gyro sandwich of meh taste, nothing like the spit roasted rotation shavings I have been craving. read more

Outstanding homemade Italian beef sandwich! They have nailed the flavor. Also a really good 1/3 pound burger. Their onion rings are better than most and their fries are good too. The owner is friendly and you can tell both he and his team take pride in the product they provide. It is not the cheapest option around, but the quality comes through and i don't mind paying a bit more for quality food. The dining area is kept spotless. There is a credit card surcharge so best to bring cash. read more

I love their sides: fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, and mozzarella sticks. They all have just the right umami saltiness and spice while maintaining crispy bite while juicy without being soggy. Their ( for vegetarians) grill cheese is one of the best without being soggy or greasy or overly stale grill bite like others may have. Gotta definitely try their pepper'n'egg and garden burger next time. Other family members love their specialty gyros and Italian Philly Sandwiches. Highly recommended anyone to give them a try. Especially love ma'n'pa family spot like here. read more

The gyro that I ordered was dry and like beef jerky, even the extra tzatziki sauce wasn't enough to moisten to be palatable. The Male manager has a narcissistic attitude and speaks down to you and is a very rude and presumptuous person. Very unpleasant meal and experience. I'm giving one star only because I can't give it a zero. The fries are nothing to write home about. Extremely disappointed and won't be returning. read more

Food is as great as ever! Have had the Sub, burger, fries, and beef so far. Of course prices are higher, but what do we expect. Every time I'm in Meadows I stop by! read more

For some reason, I feel like the Portillo's near us changed their hot dogs. Last ones we ordered weren't so good and had a thicker skin and were just lukewarm. We wanted a good, Chicago style beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun and this place delivered! A little slower at the drive through, but the hot dogs and fries were really good. Very crisp and hot crinkle French fries. And a bonus in our bag...two free chocolate chip cookies and plenty of napkins, salt and ketchup. Thank you. We'll be back. read more

First time coming to Fratello's after the place reopened, and it has great service, and a very kid-friendly menu.

I have been coming here for years and years and tonight my gyros was dry and paper thin , the pita felt like it was thrown in the microwave and my fries were so small they looked as if they came from the bottom of the bag!!!! Very disappointed !!!! Plus way too much political talk going on !!!! Definitely not worth $40.00 I had two gyro meals and cheese sticks , I will think twice!!! read more

The food is way better than Portillo's! The service is second to none! It's a family atmosphere at Fratello's. We would know this as we've been patrons of the Manios Family for at least 20 years. We met Bill when he was a teenager! We've catered for holidays and birthdays. Our son, who lives in Indianapolis IN, and can have Portillo's, wants us to bring Fratellos's when we go see him. Everything we've ever had there has been delicious! By the way, Bill, if you read this, you Knocked that Tuna Melt OUT OF THE PARK! J&V O. read more

Piping hot, and delivered to my car with free (!!!) chocolate chip cookies by a very grateful owner. Their pizza puffs are bomb! Support your local small business, guys! They deserve it. read more

EAT HERE!!! They're open again after a fire closed them down and it's as good as ever! Dogs, beef, gyros, but save some room for the Italian sub. That thing ranks with the best sandwiches in Chicago, and that's a lot of contenders. Glad you're back Fratellos! We love you!! read more

Good food, clean and newly renovated. Great menu selection and convenient drive-thru.

Glad this spot is open again. Everything I've tried is very good: tuna melt, turkey sub, gyros, italian beef, hot dogs, burgers.

For years we've driven by Fratellos and finally stopped in. It was a cold and rainy fall afternoon and we were the only people in the seating area. Fratellos is a real old-style Chicago hot dog joint. Dogs, Polish, Burgers, Tamales, Chili, Fries, Malts, and more. Unlike other hot dog places, the fries are purchased and served separately and not wrapped up with the dog. And, they are not cheap - one burger, one small drink, one gyro, and a shared fries was $19. The seating area was not particularly clean. There are about a dozen booths with sticky tables. We tried to find one that was clean but didn't have much luck. The fries are not hand cut as you find in other places, but they were good - very crisp. As for the burger, the meat was mushy - perhaps ground too fine although I'm certain they don't grind their own meat. The gyro was just okay. Personally, I like it when they cut it off the skewer and crisp the meat before serving. And, the pita was warmed in a microwave and not grilled on a flattop. Nope - too many other places around that are better and cleaner. Sorry. read more

Outstanding all the way around. The food is excellent and so is the service. Such a wonderful family. Welcome back!

This is an average mom and pop beef place in Chicago. Hot dog was good, fries were like the McDonald's type. They were very generous with the fries. Beef was good. The burger tasted like frozen patty and hot dog was average. I would not crave this place but it works if I'm nearby and have a taste for a hotdog or beef. read more

Went for dinner tonight, ordered gyro plate and fries. Fries are wet and soggy, and gyro meat is SWIMMING in grease puddle. The older gentleman that gave us our food was very disrespectful and rud, thinking he is funny. Will NEVER go back to this dump! read more

Not all that fantastic, but not all that bad either. I've never heard of Fratello's and they only have five reviews but seeing the building and eating there for dinner tonight, they've clearly been there over a decade! It's not a big hot dog joint but it was packed with families. I had a hot dog, fries and a drink for $6.33. I liked the skinny cut fries because they weren't loaded with salt and I was able to eat them without dying of thirst! The hot dog was just your regular run o the mill hot dog, solid enough. I may roll by here again since they have a super convenient drive thru but wouldn't go out of my way for their fare. read more

I love cheeseburgers. Ive had them at 5 Guys, Culvers, Shake Shake, Portillos but the best I've ever had is at Fratellos, Try it. You will be amazed. read more

Some food was good but hamburgers are reheated. Must be soaked in broth as hamburger was overly wet. My first visit seemed great for us but they seemed annoyed with a different customer. A few hours later sent sons in to get additional food items, but owners were blatantly rude to them. "They invest in signs so learn to read them!" This was said to them when didn't know which window to place order. Horrible first impression. They were shocked by the rudeness. Will not support business nor recommend. Will be sure to warns others to avoid here read more

Amazing food! It's our neighborhood destination being a couple blocks away. We just moved to Rolling meadows and several neighbors made recommendations to go here. Very pleased with the food and service. The cheese burgers are fresh and juicy and the onion rings and cheese fries hit the spot. I forgot to order a shake, so I will be back soon! :) They were very accommodating to placing over the phone pick up orders during these times too. read more
