Okay, if you're looking for the cutest girls' night, this is it. A few of us went to Vitagliano…read moreWinery on a Friday for the country line dancing lessons, and we had the best time. I was low-key panicking when we pulled in because parking looked completely full, but somehow I found a spot at the very last minute, so don't lose hope if it looks packed. The wine was actually really good, the staff was so friendly, and everyone there was just there to have a fun night. The line dancing was beginner-friendly, so even if you've never done it before, you'll catch on pretty quickly. Also... the little golf cart shuttle that takes you back to the parking lot afterward? Absolute best after a long night in boots . It was such a nice touch after a night of dancing. Such a fun way to spend a Friday with your girlfriends. We'll definitely be making this a tradition.

He was knowledgeable about the wines and did a great job explaining the pairings. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the pond is gorgeous. It's a great setting to relax, enjoy some wine, and take in the views. They also have a nice selection of wines to choose from. Unfortunately, the food options were a bit of a letdown. I was particularly disappointed in what they presented as a charcuterie board. There were no jams, olives, or brie, and the overall presentation was pretty underwhelming. The walnuts presentation were also soft and soggy. How do walnuts get that way unless they've been sitting out too long?! The "charcuterie board" came in a square paper box and for $42.00, I expected a much better presentation and options. Honestly, it just felt blah and wasn't what I would typically expect from a winery. Overall, the wine, service, and beautiful surroundings made for an enjoyable visit. I just wish the food offerings and presentation were more in line with the rest of the experience. I'd consider coming back for the wine and scenery, but I hope they improve their food selection. On another note, my friend order the truffle fries. It was okay but it was barely dusted with truffle.

Inside the tasting room they did have live music as well. We lucked out and came the first day they opened the kitchen so they have pizzas now! I think most of the ladies ordered themselves one. I also got a glass of montepulciano which is the perfect red for a hot day. The pizza was delicious and I loved the wine. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful.

There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.

We find ourselves revisiting Akash, but never crossed over from taster to member. UNTIL Nisreen Rafeedie was hired, she brings the best smile, experience, and makes you feel like family. One of…read morethe reasons we fell in love with this place was its warm, welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. We've been members for several years, and unfortunately, today's experience left us extremely disappointed. We stopped by to pick up our wines and enjoy our tastings. Upon arriving, one of the employees looked directly at me, rolled her eyes, and proceeded to help the guests next to us while completely ignoring us. It was unnecessary and incredibly rude, especially considering we were patiently waiting and had done nothing to warrant that kind of attitude. Another gentleman eventually came over and was very accommodating, almost as though he was trying to make up for his coworker's behavior, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience got worse when my husband approached the host stand to collect our tasting cards. The employee raised her voice and said, "Are you sure you want all eight cards? Because once I give them to you, don't think you can give them back." What kind of way is that to speak to a guest, let alone a longtime member? We've always supported Akash because it felt like more than just a winery. It felt personal, welcoming, and family-run. Today, that warmth was noticeably missing. It's disappointing to feel like the personal touch that once made Akash special is being replaced by an impersonal, transactional experience. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because loyal members deserve to feel welcomed and appreciated, not like an inconvenience.
