There's a lot of interesting looking items on the menu, but I come here for the wings. I usually order a 10 wing combo with fries and a drink. At ~$15, it's not particularly cheap, but it's roughly in line with the current market. Choose from ~29 flavors. I honestly don't necessarily have a go to. I also would like to recommend Fireball consider adding a spicy barbecue sauce as one of the flavor options. The wings and fries have been perfect every single visit. It's honestly remarkable that they haven't missed yet considering how many times I've visited. As with anything, this is of course a matter of personal preference. I'm sure some may prefer extra crispy. They'll, of course, happily oblige any customer who requests it. Among the many great things about this restaurant is the fact that they don't nickel-and-dime you. All flats or all drums often carries a surcharge, but not at this restaurant. Some places (I'm looking at you Zaxby's) are very stingy with sauces. I'm sure there are hard limits to how much they will give for free, but I once saw the owner give a regular customer a few ramekins of yum yum sauce for no charge, even though the customer was prepared to pay. I usually choose to dine in, and the dining room is pretty comfortable. There are a ton of condiments available, including lemon pepper and Cajun seasoning. The drink options are standard in some ways but unique in others, with the option for Fruit Punch. and this Peach Drink, along with the usual soda favorites. I agree with Denise. I'd say this is probably the best restaurant between Atlanta and Charlotte.

While awaiting our food, one of the employees started yelling politics at the TV which was located behind us. At first I ignored it, but then he returned and continued again, which at this point I politely asked him to stop. Which he grumbled and said the TV shouldn't be on that station anyway and walked to the Bar area. Then, he made a disparging comment about me loudly to another employee. At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest. We won't be back and will advise our local friends as well. Pro tip: religion and politics are NOT appropriate employee conversions amongst the paying customers.

We loved the collards,, tender, served with hot pepper vinegar, as the Good Lord intended and not sweet, like the heretics that put brown sugar in their collards. The brisket was Smokey and tender and perfectly seasoned, add a bit of hot bbq sauce. Baked beans were sweet, as they should be, and had some meat chunks in there, again, as they ought. A slice of Texas Toast accompanied. We were initially overlooked as our server, Robin, didn't know that we had been seated. She was apologetic about our three minute wait - which tells you, Robin is a great server! I mean, it was only three minutes, but she took our drink order and our food order at the same time, immediately served drinks and 15 minutes later served our food. The space will fit a lot of folks. This was an excellent lunch choice, good for crowds, good for single diners too. It was so good, we figured it's only 87 miles from our home in Greenville, SC and could be an occasional day trip destination for lunch. Or, we need to convince the family to open up a Greenville location. There's an idea. Don't hesitate to dine here, and consider bringing a cooler for some "to go" orders for later.
