I wore the shoes only inside around my place and inside my hospital (not outside at all) and noticed after about an hour they were extremely uncomfortable and beginning to hurt. I took them off and put them back in the box, no scuffs, no marks on them, not even on the bottom. Pristine shoes still, barely worn. I go to the store to return or exchange them and the manager flat out refuses. Stating she said one of her employees watched me walk out of the store with them (which I didn't, I had them in the new box in a bag) and that because they were a "special order" her GM won't allow the return or exchange. So I was fed a load of bullshit from this place, I wouldn't recommend them for ANYTHING. They will lie to your face. Absolutely a horrible experience and will never give them any business again. I even let my hospital know about their poor customer service and lying to avoid giving them any business again either. AVOID!!

I went in today to buy my books. I'm doing distance learning from Kansas City because I have a few…read morecredits there. I walked in with my list of books, and must have had a confused look on my face, as a gentleman came over and asked if I needed any help. I said yes, and he immediately took my list and led me around. I was expecting one of my books to be only available as a new book and was pleasantly surprised to see that they carried it used. It saved me roughly half of what I was expecting to pay. He even took the time to find me a copy of the book that was not so "used" looking. The other book I needed was found just as quickly. When we had found all the materials needed, the gentleman wished me a good day. Looking over all the "spirit items" in the store, I was impressed with how much stuff you could buy to show your pride. I admit, I had to get a t-shirt. With me living in Kansas City, I'm always proud to wear things from my hometown. Check-out was a breeze. I'm expecting financial aid for this year, and with this being the first time I've ever had to use it, I was elated to find out that I could defer the payment for my books until my aid was put into my account. Start to finish, the process took less than 10 minutes, and I was in and out. Everyone I encountered was so pleasant to deal with, and I left in a better mood that when I went in.
