After a seamstress had pinned up the requested changes a different seamstress took my dress to the service counter telling me it would be ready 1 week from today. Me: " That sounds great" There was a small order slip with $65 already written on it. She asked my name and phone number. She wrote my information on that very little slip. Then she says: "That will be $65" Me: "You want me to pay you for work that you have not done and I'm not seeing the fit is even correct for me?" Her: "That's our policy." One time I needed some jeans hemmed before I went on a hunting trip and they did them while I waited. I am astounding at how they can fix my shirts that see rough use, when I wasn't sure they could fix them. These are skilled artisans, and I think their prices are more than fair. I appreciate how they will always tell me up front how much things will cost, so there are not any surprises. The workers there are always friendly, and are efficient in getting me rung up and out of there quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, I have noticed a few reviews complain about cost. My response is 1. Alterations are not based on what you originally paid for the garment. 2. These are highly skilled artisans and deserve to be paid for their skills and knowledge. 3. They give you a price UP FRONT so you get to decide if you want them to do the work. Don't agree to have them do the work then come back and complain the price is too high. Lastly, I have never had a problem with them, but I know they are good people. If there is ever a problem they are more than happy to fix any issues, just communicate with them and they will fix it. They have always been awesome for me, I love this place!
