Reviews for this place seem to be a mixed batch. I really like the pizza here and if it wasn't so far from home I'd probably buy pizza from here all the time. I like the seasoning they use in the sauce combined with the thin slices while making the crust slightly crunchy gives for a really nice slice of pizza. I've never had any of the food dishes they make cause I just love pizza. Service is great when I dine in and the dining area is spacious enough that a dozen people could dine in without issue. Definitely a favorite spot. read more

I would say it's kind of mid here for sure. The plain slice of pizza was alright, but was bit greasy. The stand out was the crust was very crispy instead of doughy. Garlic knots, were great first time I seen them that garlic flavor is oven roasted on rather than it swim in a garlic oiled bath. For the cannoli, never had a bad cannoli and here it's great, plus it's great the filling tasted homemade rather premade in a piping bag. Not my favorite pizza not going to lie here. Food overall wasn't bad, pizza wasn't bad, but nothing was great. Service was OK, ambience was mid, and overall the inside was clean and chill atmosphere. I don't usually write reviews... especially bad ones because I don't want to ruin a business but I am trying to get the owner's attention. I tried to get the owner's contact info from BBB but I was unable to obtain it. My family has been ordering about once a week for decades because we always liked the pizza and wings. On Jan. 2, 2025, I bit into my pizza only to find a staple in my mouth. I called the restaurant only to advise the business that they should look into how this could happen so they could correct the problem. The 34 year old female manager made it like I was lying even though I asked for nothing. She should have been interested in looking into the matter and she should have been concerned if I was injured in some way. Luckily I didn't swallow it. To the owner: She will try to act like I did something to fuel her response but I have my conversation with her recorded and I am happy to let you hear her poor customer service skills. She was in denial and was only saying that staples are not near the food. Interestingly enough... I found another review on here from several years ago with someone who found a staple in their chicken dinner. I thought maybe it could happen when receipts are stapled to bags or maybe it is happening if they are ripping receipts off of deliveries. Ordered a pizza online and order was never received. When I tried to contact the restaurant by calling them they never answered the phone and did not have a voicemail. After calling numerous times there was still no pizza delivered. Definitely will not be ordering again read more

Minimum charge on credit card is $10, so something to watch out for. Prices are pretty hefty. My one topping pizza was $4. The pizza itself was pretty bland, there are definitely better pizza joints within a 2 mile radius. I probably would only go back if I'm on a time crunch and just need a quick slice to curb hunger. They do have a neat lunch special-- 2 slices and a coke for $5.50. Only commenting on their pizza though, which is the only thing I have had over there. They might have other better options? Seating seems like it would sit about 20 people, though every time I go in there, there's no one eating in there. Hmm, wonder why. read more

I have been going to franks for YEARS. Last night I ordered 2 cheese pizzas and had them delivered to my father house. The next day I found out that half was chicken bacon ranch. Because of our religion we do not eat bacon. The cheese slices of this pie were eaten. We asked for a refund, even if we were given half. The owner REFUSED , this was very disappointing. I brought my son here for pizza and for their gluten free options. The place is small, regular pizzeria style. Very friendly and prompt service, our waitress was extremely helpful, quick and friendly. I ordered the Gluten Free pasta with Bolognese sauce, aside from the ratio being a little off (less noodles than sauce), it was remarkable. I took the remaining sauce home to put on my pasta noodles. We finished with an Italian ball of ice cream from the freezer, shared with my son, was a perfect end to a delicious meal. I will absolutely frequent this pizzeria!! read more

Ordered subs with my co-workers today... one Italian combo, turkey and cheese, and a ham and cheese.. never have I had a ham and cheese sub so GROSS. I bit into my sub and tasted feet and sand ... turns out their cook took it upon himself to put PARMESAN CHEESE on each sub... maybe on the Italian combo I guess it would be ok... but ham and cheese ?? How about asking the customer or maybe state on the menu....you don't just add ingredients without the customers request or knowledge. Needless to say I called and the woman who answered was VERY accommodating. My correct sandwich was delivered within minutes. Thank YOU for the correction !!! We have ordered online three times & always had it delivered. The pizza is delicious when its hot and fresh. However, we did save some both times & tried it for lunch the next day, and I just don't like it leftover. I tried the Lasagna once, that was quite disgusting. Just being honest. There was a lot of sauce, but it didn't even taste like sauce.. It just had no flavor and tasted like water. I was completely disappointed. I've tried their simple small salads and it was also very yummy. Fresh veggies, and whatever ranch dressing they use is really good! The Southwestern Chicken wrap is beyond yummy. I absolutely loved it and my husband says that he will also be trying it next time. I think it's reasonably priced, especially seeing as they don't charge a delivery fee. Just know though that any of times we've ordered it has taken about an hour, but it does give you an estimated time, and they have always been on time or early. read more

I've visited Frank's a few times now and they've always been good. I usually have slices of pizza for lunch but tonight decided to eat dinner there. Their dinner was GREAT! I had the Creamy Pesto Chicken Linguini. The linguini was topped with chicken, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, with a creamy pesto sauce. I got full halfway into the meal but couldn't stop eating because it was so good. I'll be back for sure. read more

I've had pizza here twice. Each time the crust has been different. The first time I came in and ordered the lunch special which was two slices and a water for 5 or 6 bucks. I had pepperoni on both slices. It was ok, not the best, not the worse. For me, I like a crispy thin crust on the bottom and the edge of the pizza I like crunchy on the outside wile soft on the inside. But, what I had was a chewy crust. Almost style. Now, the second visit, I ordered a large pepperoni to go. That time the crust was great so.. I give this place a three stars for lack of consistency. read more

The 2 stars are because the pizza was AWESOME. Otherwise it would have been 1 star... I called on a Saturday night at 6:00 for an order of wings ( with Ranch and Bleu Cheese) and a large pizza. Was quoted 30-40 min. We were at a hotel so I specifically asked for plates and napkins for 2 ( I should not have had to ask as it's OBVIOUS you need that stuff when at a hotel but I wanted to be sure we got it). Over an hour later no order. I called and was told it's on its way. 5 min later the order shows up... no Ranch and NO Plates or Napkins... also, the wings tasted like Fish (yuck). I called to speak to the manager about my experience. Was told she was on duty but "out" at the moment so I left my name and number. No call back.... too bad because the pizza was excellent. read more

This place has really good pizza and food, but only if you pick up. Don't count on delivery, as they frequently exceed the promised time by more a than half hour to an hour. If you can get in the car and grab it great, otherwise, look elsewhere. read more

If you're not sure about what to eat, Franks pizza is the way. Their wings are amazing with many different flavors. The pizza is outstanding and they have a great and friendly staff. I ordered takeout. It was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes, which was fine. Hiwever, an hour after i ordered, i received a call asking about things i didn't order. It was very disorganized and i ended uo just canceling after speaking to 3 different people. Really, how hard is it to make a large pizza? I managed a pizzeria for 5 years and would be ashamed to have had so many issues with a simple order. I will never order here or visit ever again. read more

I've ordered from franks several times and there seems to be problems every time. The pizza taste good but there driver always gets lost and the pizza is always cold and while the ordering website says that they are open everyday of the week sometimes we place an online order and a half hour later the order gets cancelled and no-one answers the phone. This place is absolutely horrendous. they take over an hour to deliver every time. (& I live 8 minutes away). Their food is presented horribly, and the portion sizes are not worth the price. I have ordered from this place before and it was always okay. Tonight we ordered fro delivery and i called at 5:55pm an order for delivery. By 6:53 we had not gotten our pizza yet (i live 5 min from the pizzeria) so I called and asked the status of my order. The girl on the phone told me that the guy was out for delivery. When he had not come 15 minutes later I called and asked to speak to a manager. Not only did the girl not put a manager on the phone but she said well what happened? I used to really love this place but they just cannot seem to get it right anymore. The past 3 times I've ordered from them have just been awful experiences. I ordered a special pizza and paid almost $4 more for it and was delivered a plain pie. then I ordered the ONLY salad that they listed the ingredients on, and when it was delivered there were onions on it which were not listed?? Im HIGHLY allergic to onions so I literally wasted $8 on something I can't even eat?? Not to mention no utensils were delivered to me. My husband and I came across Frank's last year (2014) after visiting Storm King Art Center in the same area. Frank's is a family business run with warmth and pride! The meatballs which we tried when visiting again 9/11/15 are second to Mom's! My husband enjoyed a pepperoni pizza while I devoured a Frank's Special Hero; Grilled Chicken, Prosciutto, fresh Mozzarella, sauteed Spinach and Roasted Peppers - absolutely mouth watering delicious! It's great when the owner (I think it's the owner at least) is there. But every time I've gone on the weekends it's not been good. They've gotten our orders wrong every time we've ever gone on the weekend & they are not friendly...they border on snooty & rude. So those visits have been a big disappointment for me. Plus I love the Franks Creamsicle sodas & they haven't had any the last several times I've gone in & one girl didn't even have a clue what I was talking about. Frank's is the only place we order our pizza, hero's hot or cold from and once in a while dinner. We have allowed ourselves a "treat" of pizza every other week so I don't have to cook.
