Couldn't give this place more than 1 star tbh! I order a chicken gyro via slice and they send me some sort of dark meat, maybe beef, maybe lamb. I call them to report the issue and request a refund and was told I would have to go through the Slice app because they couldn't handle that issue. At this point, I ask them what could they do as a business to remedy this poor service they are providing and immediately request a chicken gyro with no tomato's! And I could hear a Hispanic female in the background asking "le cortó?," which means, did they hang up? I did not hang up but they did. I called back and was lucky enough to have the phone call answered by the same female that asked if I hung up, and advised her that I did not hang up, but they did! The lady issued a half-ass apology and said the chicken gyro with mo tomato was on its way. They really seemed to be uninterested in remedying their mistake, and to be honest I am uncomfortable eating whatever they decide to send me! So moving forward I'll be ordering from somewhere else, I recommend you do the same!

If you want different/specialty slices (eg. taco pie, tortellini pie), then you go here. If you want a pie... there are better places...

I have had Chicken Parm Heros from many different places but this is by far the best Chicken Parm Hero that I have ever had.

Pizza was ok, but the grown man behind the counter was so rude. Caught me completely off guard that it really unsettled me. I won't be back.

The pizza at this restaurant is very salty. I couldn't even eat it, it was so salty, had to throw a whole pizza away. Very dissatisfied.

I was very unhappy with the unfriendliness of the man behind your counter last night (3/29/2016). He was not friendly and rude.

If you don't want your entrées coming out with the appetizers, just give them a heads up, because the kitchen moves fast here. We started with the mushroom dish and a hearty soup...both full of flavor and the perfect start to the meal. Then came the star of the night: the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying, the kind of food that makes you want to go back the next day. The service was on point- Friendly and attentive, and the whole space has this quirky, cozy feel, like you're sitting in your grandma's living room with its mix of chairs and warm, homey vibe. It's also BYOB, which is always a win. We brought a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, Butcher's Grill is a must-visit if you're in the area. Great food, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it stand out. Can't wait to come back!

Everything else (chicken, salmon, burger) was overcooked. I would stick to the steaks. Seems like their speciality. The food presentation was great tho! And seems like locals love it. We came for an early dinner so they were able to accommodate us but it was busy by the time we left.

What a delicious experience I had tonight at Roasted Breadfruit. One of the things I miss most…read moreabout living out here is Caribbean food and I'm so happy that I found them online. We started off with the fried pickles that were the perfect combination of crunchy and tasty. The best fried pickles I've had because the batter was seasoned and the pickles were cooked yet still crunchy. They created a sorrel type dipping sauce that was absolutely out of this world. What drew me to this was the smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket was flavorful and literally melted in your mouth. It was topped with melted cheese and a mango habanero chutney that was out of this world. The flavor profile of this dish was exquisite. My husband did a make your own meal, which included two meats and two sides. He opted for the jerk chicken an ribs with a side of Caribbean rice and fried plantain. He really enjoyed the cook on the meats. I can't wait to come back and try their Mac and cheese.

The vibes of the restaurant are very cozy, and we chose to eat upstairs. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly, and explained that his family owned and operated the business. Many of the recipes are family recipes, which we found really charming. We ordered the Oxtail Stew, which came with rice, beans, and plantains. This was the best dish of the night. The oxtail had large chunks of super tender meat. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered the Make Your Own Platter and chose ribs, brisket, french fries, and mac and cheese. The servings were huge. The ribs were excellent, tender and smoky, and came with lots of dipping sauces. The brisket was just okay for us. It was a little dry, and we think they could have used a fattier cut. It also could've tasted a bit smokier. The mac and cheese was AMAZINGLY rich, and the fries were also very tasty. Overall this was a great experience and I can definitely see coming back just for the oxtail.

I don't know why I was surprised to discover this was in a strip mall, but that's on me. A nice one, at least. The place was relatively busy but we were able to secure a table easily with zero wait time. Pleasant vibes inside. I don't mean this as an insult at all but I was expecting more ethnic decor in line with the restaurant's menu - instead, it's pretty Americanized and feels like a classic suburban NJ establishment. I liked the painted brick on the lefthand side that has Blue Spice's logo/sign on it; spiffy. The bathroom was also a high point, which is...not something I say often. It was very clean and smelled nice, and I liked the dark cruise-ship lighting vibe. We decided to split the scallion pancake app, which was an excellent decision. I work in the city and regularly have this item from a place in Chinatown, and I honestly thought this was better, mostly because it was thicker/denser than what I'm used to. Super tasty and would get that again in a heartbeat. Giant portion as well - we split the pancake, which was roughly the size of a small pizza. My chum had leftovers there, I did not; so it goes with us. I've had a few mediocre chicken katsu experiences of late, so this seemed like a chance for redemption. I ordered the Akiko Curry entree, which was their spin on chicken katsu curry. Honestly wasn't my favorite. Again, a HUGE portion here and was only able to finish about 60% of it despite having a pretty legit appetite coming in. And the presentation value is excellent as well, as far as that goes. This could easily just be a personal palate preference, but I wasn't crazy about the curry itself (which had a weird tang to it) and didn't resemble the standard curry I'm used to with this dish. Also, as you can see from the attached, the curry is basically on the side of the dish, separated from the chicken and rice. Because of that, the chicken is on the dry side, which is my primary beef (pun?) with the item to begin with. So a miss for me, but I could see why other people would like this (and apparently do). The service was excellent, full stop. Our waitress was very nice and personable; she had strong command of the menu and you could see her consistently engaging with other patrons throughout our meal as well. She took several group photos so this is apparently a Kingdom of Sussex hot spot for that, which I wouldn't have guessed. She was so good both of us remarked on it multiple times during the meal, which is a rarity. But a great example of hospitality markedly improving an experience and making what was already an overall positive situation that much better. Huge marks there. Would definitely come back but would explore other parts of the menu once I feasted on the scallion pancake.
