The John Stewart vegan dog and fries

This is my favorite Toledo food truck! Hotdogs are house made and so yummy! Toppings are creative and always fresh. French fries are always piping hot and crispy. Staff is friendly and prompt.

Drove an hour to Toledo to visit Frankly for their vegan hot dog menu. I'm sure they were a bit amused when I ordered one of everything on their menu to take back home It was well worth the drive though! Best hot dogs and cauliflower wings I've ever had! Their buffalo sauce is delicious with the perfect amount of heat for a spice wimp like me. They also got tofu dippers, mac & cheese, cheesy broccoli, and cookies! Would definitely come down again

The weekly special:breakfast dog and the Jon Stewart

Tonight was the first time I've had FPBK, and it was absolutely phenomenal! I got the breakfast dog which was this week's special, and the Jon Stewart. Every single bite was absolutely packed with flavor! This is vegan comfort food at its finest!

Salty fries, chick'n dippers, breakfast dogs, side Mac, 1/2 stacked fries

The food is incredible, whether you're vegan or not. They have the best tasting fries, I always ask for salty fries, the extra bit of salty just takes them to the next level. The Mac is just out of this world. And of course the hot dogs, they'll make you live hot dogs....Trust me.

Hanging out in the area one day just walkin my dog with a friend... Yelp brings this cool looking place up.. and it actually shows VEGAN. I'm like... what?! They have chili, all sorts of different TYPES of dogs.. and fries.. you name it. For a Vegan Dog shop, these people know what they are doing! I got a Banh Mi dog. I have to admit... in the beginning.. I did not feel quite satisfied. Now I eat plenty of turkey, fish and chicken... no red meat. But After about 10 minutes of letting the food settle, I was satisfied. It was probably about $6 which is not that bad for this area. I will definitely be back. GET THE BANH MI DOG.

I miss this spot so much. It was my fiancée and I's favorite food truck in Austin. Plus they served an all vegan menu which was really nice. Come back!!!

I loved the paprika and sour cream sauce. I ordered the roast beef sliders with the horseradish aioli on the side. They were amazing! I wish I could cook roast beef like these sliders. (I learned about the sliders on their website promotions page.) My husband had the Classic Hot dog with macaroni and cheese. He ate every bite! We ordered the Lemon Strudel with ice cream for dessert. I loved the signed buns hanging on the walls. Fun decor! I am glad that I was able to come here for the very first time.

Lauri laughs when I say it smells like Ohio when walking in; woody and old and alive in all its dim lighting and kitsch. tables are nice for groups but it's just us so we sit at the bar and we get a Packo's Feast plus an extra cabbage roll - we're here catching up so 'food' was more of a place for meeting than a reason, but get an extra cabbage just the same. hand rolled seasonal beefs and porks and rice wrapped in cabbages and simmered in a thick tomatoey sauce, plated lightly sauced with hot pickles on the side - man these are good. the hot dogs are more like smoke sausage than weiners and split because that's how it's done; plus onions, kraut, and yellow mustard (just like god intended) under a generous slather of dog sauce plus hot pickles on the side. cup of chili comes with an equal amount of baby oyster crackers in second a bowl. now i shall spend the afternoon musing on a simpler place in time. the last law of thermodynamics states that food is cold at the same temperature where beer is warm. but good food will still be good at room temperature or even out of the fridge (a few items test the hypothesis but don't break it) so sit and talk and listen, the food will still be there and still be good...

The interior is a step back in time to maybe the 70's. Lots of indoor seating. You order at the counter and wait while they prepare it. Service took awhile because they were doing the drive-thru traffic. Once we got our food we waited at the end of the counter to pay, sort of cafeteria style. My all beef King dog was very filling. And the onion rings were fried to perfection. My hubs said the chili cheese dog was tasty. The prices are very affordable. So if you are looking for cheap eats this is your place. Oh and "Weenie Wednesdays " dogs are $2 all day!

There were also 5 adults in line, but not all together. None of them were able to order because a small middle aged man, who appeared to be in charge, was screaming at a young man who was also behind the counter. Most of his language consisted of cuss words. The family folks quickly asked that the screaming and cussing be stopped. The young man who was the target of this tirade also asked the supervisor to stop this behavior in front of the children. Within a couple of minutes, those of us in line, rapidly left the building, in fear that we may be soon witnessing a physical fight or worse. On the way out the door, we were asked by those in the drive through what the hold up was. When they were told, they started to leave. Thought that ownership should know what is going on at this store. This situation was totally one sided. No one should have to put up with that kind of treatment.
