Sun-dried tomato cheese dip with crackers
Shweta S.

I was visiting Oak Openings Preserve metro park and was searching for vegan lunch options nearby, The Mindful Table came up in my results. I called them to confirm some of the items as the website didn't have exact description of all the items. One thing to note, you can place an order either through the website or in-person, but not over the phone. I ended up ordering via their website. When I arrived, parking was easy as it's located in a complex. It's a small cafe, with some outdoor seating. The food was already ready. They have vegan cupcakes which looked interesting, so picked the marshmallow chocolate cupcake. One of the customers suggested I should try their vegan dip, and I'm so glad that I did! It was perfectly creamy with sun dried tomatoes (non-vegans, you should give it a try). The food was great. Tacos very flavorful, the cupcake was tasty perfect sweetness of the cream blending with the base, the fiesta dip had nice flavors, not too spicy. My favorite was the sun-dried tomato basil cheese dip with crackers, so creamy and so good! Given that they are vegan and gluten-free cafe, the food was pretty good. Definitely give it a try.

GF & vegan sloppy joe

This was such a blessing to find. Everything I've eaten here is amazing. Kele is very friendly and welcoming. The staff is also friendly. I can't recommend the food enough. If you are gluten free and/or vegan you must stop by. Her Mac & cheese is one of my favorites. I special ordered a apple pie and it was a hit at the party. Stop by, order some food and say hi.

Blueberry coffee cake

This is such a cute shop! It's a gluten free and vegan bakery and deli. I stopped in yesterday to get some treats for my daughter and I. She picked out a chocolate cupcake with an Oreo on top and I chose a blueberry coffee cake. My daughter left no crumbs so needless to say she loved it. Mine was just phenomenal, I'll definitely be back for more!

Barbecue ribs and baked beans.

I love restaurants that serve brunch, and this place goes above and beyond. This time it was not disappointing. The food was delicious and the server was fantastic. Super friendly and super knowledgeable. The food came out to order and was easy to make accommodations for. It's really nice that this place is also family friendly and has vegan/vegetarian options. The restaurant itself is clean and it's nice to be able to look out the windows and the people making the pizzas. It's a good lay out and a good amount of seating without being too big or too small. Theres also an entrance/exit from the front and an entrance/exit to the patio and back parking lot.

I will say every time before this time, I was always impressed with the service and food. This time they had a Harry Potter themed cocktail list. We all know I love a good cocktail menu, and Harry Potter themed? How could we go wrong? I ordered the Harry Potter flight and was wowed by all the different flavors. One had frangelico in it and I was really wowed by the flavor. All of them were delicious! We ordered the feta dip, baked Brie and the meatballs to all share. They were all absolutely delicious! It's a wine bar and known for their cheese, but I have to say the meatballs were dynamite. Isaiah was our water and he was quick and very nice. I'm excited for the new GM as he gets more people coming back and excited about their new themes and events.

We finally made it here and we are kicking ourselves that it took us so long!…read more Our service was 10/10 which really started the experience off on the right foot. They bring out fresh pita that's fired up right in the oven and it is out of this world. We paired that with the hummus and it was delish. For food, we shared a few items: Moussaka which is one of our fav dishes and this one did not disappoint. A delicious lasagna-like dish made with eggplant that's served in a tomato sauce. We also tried the cabbage rolls and chicken wraps. The chicken wraps could be a daily treat. They are so light and fresh and great with the yogurt sauce they are served with. We didn't have dessert but we will definitely be back for more! The grape leaves are a top item I need to try. They do have a private room for larger parties as well.

Slightly elegant, in that "special night out next to a Pottery Barn" kind of way. We've long been fans of the food. We've made the rounds. The only location left was Levis Commons--and now that we've finally made it there, we can say: it holds up. Warm service, tasty as ever, and an atmosphere that feels like someone lit a candle in a cul-de-sac. It's a welcome twist on a cuisine we love--refined, but approachable. Perrysburg, you're doing fine. Highly recommended. IYKYK--and if you don't, well... you'll probably end up here eventually. Maybe after a little shopping.

First, Kyle our waiter, was excellent with suggestions, perfect pace of service and politeness. He alone deserves 5 stars! Second, the assistant manager Emily, was very pleasant and welcoming when we arrived and checked back midway through our meal to see if everything was to our satisfaction... it was! Finally, the food was great and my steak was perfect, done just the way I wanted! Such attention to detail and the friendly, professional service made for a delightful evening out. Thank you!

They did absolutely nothing wrong, but in the end, our mealnsits above average. The first thing is the food. The portions are not huge, but that's okay at an expensive place. My ribeye was cooked exactly medium rare and was a nice cut of meat. However, it was drowning in butter and was just too salty for the meat to shine through. A good steak, but not great and maybe not even very good. My wife's scallops were very good and came with a great corn relish underneath. The sides must be ordered separately. We got the mashed potatoes and those were absolutely excellent-- probably also too much butter, but that just makes potatoes better. We got the feta appetizer and that was good, but very thick in our mouths. My wife had the leftovers for lunch and found it better as it's own meal The service was simply great. They knew we wouldn't finish the feta and had it boxed and bagged with extra toast before we were done with our entrees. Nice, attentive, detailed. We both looked at the cocktails and wines and saw nothing that interested us. We're not big drinkers, but were surprised. Usually an expensive place has something for us. The tables are very large. We were on a date, but we felt too far to have an intimate conversation. My wife skipped a few topics because it felt too public to talk about them. I do not disagree with paying a lot for exceptional food. I came in expecting to drop $200 on dinner. I wanted to wine and dine my lovely wife. But Benchmark was not exceptional. It was above average. And when I'm trying to decide between 3 and 4 stars, feeling as though it's not worth the price makes me drop to 3. It would have been 4 stars at $100 or maybe $150.

They weren't wrong- the focaccia bread is soft and served fresh with some olive oil and Parmesan cheese as a dip, although I still prefer olive oil and balsamic as a dip. DO NOT ORDER THE ALFREDO…read more Pros: The complimentary focaccia bread Lots of Gluten Free options Staff was very nice and charming Nice looking vibes Short rib ravioli Cons: Alfredo anything I was extremely disappointed in my regular Alfredo dinner. I can't remember the last time I didn't eat more than a few bites at a restaurant. The waiter suggested I add chicken and it somehow made it worse. It was watery and not tasty at all. I thought it was just me, but another person in our party ordered the shrimp Alfredo and also didn't finish it. I ended up buying the chicken Milanese salad on my own tab (I was with a party) to go and it was much better. But I shouldn't have to order a different dish to make up for one I didn't eat. Maybe it was just a bad night for the Alfredo pasta dishes but something basic like that should not be poor quality. This was really disappointing because we live 2 hours away and my family would talk up this restaurant for years.
