Charming decor, comfy seating, traditional music and the sounds of the teams' laughter made for the perfect ambiance. We were seated immediately and Youssef C, our fabulous server, brought a generous portion of pita with dipping oil. We started with the lemon rice soup which was heavenly. Mike ordered the Kafka and chicken kabobs. I ordered the chicken Ghalaba. Both came with a generous portion of flavorful rice. My entree was loaded with tender, perfectly seasoned chicken and a ton of veggies, colorful and crunchy. Mike got two generous portions of the proteins. We brought half back with us to enjoy later. As we were traveling from Pittsburgh to Milwaukee, we already made hotel reservations for Sunday and are planning to go back to Grape Leaf Express! Thank you!!

I think my favorites were the "chandeliers" with Turkish lamps throughout this location. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The staff comes back to check in a couple time to make sure we had whatever we needed. Portions were plentiful for price paid and the food was absolutely delicious! If we lived in that area, Grape Leaf Express would be a go-to any time we had a taste for Mediterranean food. Well done!

I first discovered this cute cafe' 12 months ago and gave it 5 stars because the Turkey Reuben…read moresandwich was amazing. Today, I tried something else that I unfortunately didn't love, so I'm rating it 4 stars. Today, I didn't place my to-go order ahead of time and instead walked in and sat at the counter and sipped on a diet pepsi while I waited. I would describe the decor as cozy, rustic farmhouse chic, with lots of pictures of pigs. I had time to take pics while I waited for my order. I stopped in a bit later than the usual lunch rush, so there was literally no one dining in. A couple of people came in to pick up their carryout orders. The server was very friendly and down to earth. I ordered the pepper smoked turkey sandwich based on some reviews that raved about it. Rather than chips or fries, I opted to upgrade to a slaw for $2 more. I couldn't wait to get back to the office and try the food. Before digging in, I took photos because everything looked delicious. The meal was top notch quality. The turkey was thickly sliced with artisan lettuce and a garlic aioli sauce, plus cheddar cheese. The bread was a tasty sour dough. I ordered it without onions because I didn't want onion breath. Despite the high quality ingredients, it somehow wasn't amazing. It was very good but I didn't taste the pepper flavor on the turkey. The slaw was a nice mixture of kale, cabbage and carrots. For my taste, the cream sauce was on the sweet side, whereas my preference is less sweet and more tangy. Nevertheless, the ingredients were very fresh. As I reached the bottom of the bowl, however, there was a lot of runny cream sauce. Again, my personal preference is for less cream; someone else might love it. I know it seems like I am being overly picky, but I should mention that the total cost of my lunch (before tip) was $18.75 (sandwich, slaw and diet pepsi that was a fountain drink with mostly ice). Yes, everything is expensive these days, but I couldn't help being disappointed. I would absolutely return and order the Turkey Reuben in a heartbeat but wouldn't order the pepper turkey sandwich, slaw or soda. I'd also recommend dining in the adorable restaurant rather than eating at an office desk with plastic utensils!

We order from here semi-frequently. Everything is always yummy. This is the green chili burger…read more(without a bun) and the kale slaw. Two of my favorites! Pastrami hash is also amazing!
