My husband was craving wings and we decided to try them at Georgios. They did not disappoint! They were delicious, crunchy on the outside and yummy with lemon and garlic flavors. I ordered the pesto pasta with grilled chicken. It was creamy and tasted great with Parmesan cheese. I would've added more chicken for leftovers! My husband had the chicken sandwich with green beans which were cooked perfectly with a little crunch. They just brought out their Christmas cocktail menu and I had the coconut Christmas margarita. All the flavors worked well together! Our server was so nice and on top of it. I can't wait to return for more Christmas cocktails!

Better than what the reviews lead me to believe! Probably depends on the menu item you get, but the beef kabobs were fantastic. I asked for medium rare and got more medium, but they were juicy and tender and the flavor was great! The real standout is the flippin' cheese risotto, tho... You can order a side of it all on its own and boy howdy do I recommend doing so if your dish doesn't already come with a side! SO good. I'd come back just for that, it was so good. The brussel sprouts were also delicious. Well cooked and flavor with lemon that was not at all overwhelming. Pickled onions on top. Would order these again too! We also got the flatbread which has a nice garlic flavor. My dining companions liked the flavor of the dough. It made us want to try their pizzas next!

We were fairly happy with our visit to this establishment. The location on Monroe St. in the Promenade Shops is quite convenient. The storefront is easy to spot at the elbow of the plaza. The facility features a bar in one half and a dining room in the other. We sat on the dining room side. Our server Lexi attended to us right away and did a great job during our entire visit. The menu featured a lot of familiar choices, including salads, sandwiches and entrees. I chose the Pastrami Cristo sandwich. The pastrami was terrific and the broccoli side was very nicely done. My wife had the chicken tenders and fries to share with our grandson. She was also quite happy with her choice. We had club soda to drink, for which they did not charge. With food, tax and a tip, our bill was $31. At $15.50 per person as well as feeding a 20-month old, I cannot complain about the value. We will definitely look forward to our next visit.

We've now been here several times, bringing new guests with us as well. We were brought here because we had a foodie card ($10 off). We loved it and have been bringing friends and family to try it out because we enjoyed it so much. The first time we were there we asked if the veggie burger was vegan and was told it was. We have several vegan family members that's why we asked. We then came with our family with two vegans. They also called before hand to make sure it was vegan and was told it was! Well imagine the surprise when we get there and are told none of the bread they carry is vegan. Wouldn't that make the veggie burger not vegan?? Our family members had to eat it on pita bread because that's all they have. One of the vegan ones had mayo which was wiped off the pita bread so they couldn't even eat the pita bread. Such a disregard for food allergy is pathetic. Then this last time we came with friends because they also have the foodie cards so they wanted to use theirs. They informed us they no longer take the foodie cards...the foodie card brought us in for the first time and we probably brought 15 people with us to try it after. No one had ever heard or even knew the restaurant was there. But between the small portions, lying about food allergies and now not honoring coupons we will not return. Sad because the flavors are good.

Wow, loved this place! It was worth driving 35 minutes off 80/90 for. John had the home made dough, hand tossed, wood fired 14" pizza with pepperoni, sausage & mushrooms. We lucked out to stop on $10.00 pizza night & extra toppings were $1 each. I loved my beef tenderloin kabobs accompanied with home made tzatziki sauce, pita, & a yummy side of broccoli that was grilled with butter & olive oil! I never had broccoli like that before. Really really good. Could have eaten another order of it if I wasn't so full. LOL! Too bad I didn't have room for the home made rice pudding or homemade chocolate chip cookie topped with gelato! Maybe next time!

Gigli pasta (pesto sauce) - it was very good!

Found a parking spot not too far from the entry as the wind chill was in the single digits. MyWay was crowded, but we were seated right away. Needless to say, the noise volume was elevated. There was a large group of people on our side of the restaurant that seemed to know one another. They were rather boisterous and seemed to have consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Even witnessed a middle aged woman who could hardly walk out on her own. Prior to her bumper-pool walking style on the way out, as she was seated, she hoisted up her leg and placed her heel on the man's shoulder she was with. Mercy! Alcohol can cause strange events to happen. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon Quinoa Salad with the Walnut Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. Salad cost $18. To me, the salmon portion was a bit smaller than anticipated, but had a good blacked spiced mix and done very nicely.

As much as I'd like to say I've tried more dishes here, I can't... because their chicken shawarma is too good to steer away! Lovely portions for the $20 price tag. I'm very hard to fill-up, but they manage to do it here. The large portion sizes is what ultimately keeps me coming back. Owner & management - please keep it up! Kind staff. Very accommodating. Treated like family while dining in. Newly remodeled dining area that's especially nice. The ONLY knock I have is a 7% fee for dining - which appears to be a new charge. Food is prepared on a paper plate and served on a plastic tray that you return when throwing away trash. The additional expense to eat in is not justifiable. There is also a 3% non-cash fee. Be prepared to spend an additional 10% menu price if you plan to dine in & pay with card. Overall, I thoroughly love this place, and will continue to eat here a LOT as long as prices remain manageable and portions stay large. I very highly recommend!

YES!!!!! Finally,…read moreafter nearly 10 years living back in Toledo, this place has opened! Real NYC-style chicken and rice. If you ever lived in NYC you know what I'm talking about. This is the real deal. The guy who runs it used to run a deli in Brooklyn. Toledo has plenty of good Lebanese shawarma platters, but this is a different category. Nothing else scratches the itch. They upped their price to about $15, but when they did that they increased the portion size and included a drink and a bag of chips for free, so I think it's still a pretty good deal. Often they'll mix in some fries with the platter, too. As well as lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions and peppers. And they have Vernors, which you can't usually get at NYC halal trucks. So it's almost like NYC-Detroit fusion, the best of both worlds LOL! I haven't tried the rest of their menu much. I tried a lemon chicken sandwich once, and it was not on par with the ones that I've from the better delis in Harlem and The Bronx. It was kind of soggy and salty. I might try more of the subs at some point, but I really think of this as a one dish place for now, in spite of their long menu. I think it's hard to express just how happy I am to have this place a short drive from me. The cost to obtain one of my favorite foods from my home in Toledo went down from about $500 and several hours of travel (the price of a round-trip flight to LaGuardia plus one night in a hotel in Queens) down to about $15 and a 10 minute drive.
