The walk up pizzeria reminds me of a NY corner joint that sale huge slices, however it doesn't have seating inside. It is truly a take out pizzeria. Ambiance is old school and is packed with generations of charm. The pizza was loaded with cheese and the crust was AMAZING!!!! I wasn't expecting this from this small location, however when it's stored good things come in small packages, they meant Gino's!!!! Will definitely return next trip!!

First. This place has been here for many many moons and I have never gone to it because I can never…read morefind a menu or pricing. Two. It is run by a family and everyone you encounter is very very sweet. However they've got to work on their customer service. I couldn't find an updated menu for the last 9 years and zero prices. When I called to place an order for pickup because they have no online ordering of course. I wasn't even given a price after placing the order. I had to say hey wait a minute can you tell me what the price is. And the person on the other end said well it depends. There's a price for cash and a price for card. Okay well what are they? And this has happened the two times that I've been there. I don't know about you but I like to know how much things are. Now the pizza sauce is a little bit sweet and more of a thin crust pizza. Pizzas come in small large n xlarge. Yeah Im not sure what that equals to either. It's very difficult to see the toppings that are on the pieces since they put them under the cheese and not a whole lot of them. But as I was getting tired of eating at all the other places around town I figured I would give them a shot. The pizza is definitely above average and when I went in and took a picture of their board which still doesn't have any prices I saw that they do have garlic bread and wings. I did not order any of these things because of course there are no prices and I did ask if they had anything listing prices. They indicated that the person who was designing their web page passed away at the beginning of the year. It's now October. They still don't have anything to give to customers for pricing so if you call in an order make sure and ask the price before they hang up.

But this ain't Gino's, (or Amie's, or Mancino's South, or Myle's, or Half Time, or Pizza Pub 516). THIS. IS. PIZZA CAT!! And, Pizza Cat has always done a good job of serving up #TOLEDOSTYLE pies. My only criticism for this store is the same that I had for the original store. The pizzas need more sauce. Have I ever had a sub-par pizza from The Cat? Sure, but nobody bats 1000. Usually, however, the pizza is great. I usually like my pizza simple and traditional, but if you like to go outside the (pizza) box, this place is for you. You wanna talk about variety, options, and creativity? Pizza Cat's menu is second to none. SERVICE: From the time that I placed my order, until the time I was notified that my pizza was ready, only 12 minutes had elapsed. Not bad at all. ATMOSPHERE: Take out only. But there is a cute painting on the wall. If they promise to cut my pizza well enough that the pieces don't stick together, they can keep their 5 Stars!

Item 2: Regardless of what you call it, I love this place, and have since the 1970s. This place is a little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall, and I don't think the decor has changed since the 1970s (literally). Who says that's a bad thing? GYROs: Bottom line is that this is some of the BEST tasting gyro meat I've ever eaten. Period. It's flavored to perfection, and cooked to juicy yet crisp perfection, also. I have no idea what spices they add to the lamb/beef mixture (nutmeg? cumin? cinnamon?) but it has a unique and delicious flavor. This is the first place where, as a little kid, I ever ate a gyro, and they still make one of the best. (Not that my ethnic background matters, but I am Greek, and I've eaten a lot of gyros in a lot of cities and countries). If this is not the best, it's damned close to it. The chicken kabobs are excellent too. When I feel like eating something with more protein and less fat, this is my go to. These are fantastically seasoned and grilled perfectly every time. They come with rice or fries, and some veggies. The Greek salads are next level. They are large, well presented, well put together, and come with a BIG ASS SLAB of feta cheese. The homemade Greek dressing is not the best I have ever had, but it is more than serviceable. Pizza? Oh yeah, the pizza.... J & G,s thin crust pizza is also excellent. The flavor of the sauce is more traditional than what you will find at Amie's or Gino's, and therefore, may appeal to a wider range of tastes. I'd stick with the more basic toppings. To drink, they have milk and pop for the kids, and beer and wine for the adults. In case you haven't guessed, their wine list includes retsina and mavrodaphne. Obviously, as the place is also Upside Brewing, they have a pretty nice selection of beer. Upside has a few taps, and multiple taps from other local and regional brew houses are available. They do get busy, but we've never had unacceptably slow or rude service.

I'm not sure how long it had been since they changed it but trust me when I say it was WAY overdue! Got ill from the one piece I ate, almost all tossed out. We called twice in this period of time and were told she was "on her way out the door" both times. Apparently not true. She told us she would bring another XL back to us, which we appreciated. However, we then received a call another half hour later stating that they had "crammed an XL pizza into a L box" and would not be sending us another one. Okay? We looked at the pizza sizes, and don't believe that to be the case. Plus, it's straight up rude to go back on what another employee has already said. And? You shouldn't be cramming our food anywhere. The pizza was actually good. I just wish I could give more stars and that the service wasn't lousy.

The pizza was ready on time and service was friendly. No need to order extra cheese on this pizza; it's super cheesy with a regular order. This isn't a chain pizzeria so I don't think they offer coupons or discount codes. An XL pizza with mushrooms was around $20 before tip (and you don't have to tip but I like to because I appreciate servers even though people complain about tipping culture).
