Brisket enchiladas was very good. A better substitution would be with two cheese enchiladas instead of 4 smash potato enchiladas. Excellent consistent services. Well it wasn't bad just not what we expected. We're used to texmex and this was more eclectic. I had brisket chimichanga and the wife had mashed potato enchilada with brisket. Both were good but not really what we're used to. Service was excellent and everyone was very nice. read more

Great food and staff. Really liked everything about this place the two times we've been there. Last time was a huge wait we ended up waiting an hour outside but it was Friday at 730 when we got there so not going to hold that against them. We've had fajitas for two and the fajita chimichanga. I really love Frankies. I've sort of found a lack of good Mexican food in the area, as I'm used to more heat and more spice than is in Tex Mex. However, the staff has been really accommodating and spices it up. I *really* like heat, however, and they add it extra for me so.... if heat is not your thing, no worries the food doesn't come out extra hot on its own! But if it is make sure to let them know so they can hook it up for you. They have happy hour every day til 6 with $3 margaritas (frozen) and $5 (hand blended rocks). They also offer this open til close on Sunday. How groovy is that in its own right? They also have brunch Sat and Sunday. I also believe that they have Huevos Rancheros on the menu all day. The regular evening bartender, Lucas, is totally incredible and a great mixologist. Have him make you a skinny patron margarita, you won't be sorry. Parrillada fajitas...trust me! The chicken fajita meat was so so good, and then I tried the beef and if was tender and delicious. The sausage was tastey, with a little spicy bite at the end. Frankie's is my new favorite hole in the wall restaurant. It's the best Mexican food we've had since moving to Sachse a little over a year ago. We're so happy it's so close! The salsa is fantastic, our meals have been great every time, and the dessert is to die for. We never order dessert, but both the flan and soppapias (sp?) are worth the extra bucks. Frankie's is one of those rare gems of a restaurant to where you are meant to feel line you are apart of Frankie's and Jessy's family . The staff is amazing ! Jessy always makes sure we are happy and taken care of . The food is out standing . I consider myself as a hot sause connoisseur , and I will say they make the best ever . We go at least once a week and we even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there . All of our guest loved it and a few are now regulars . We would usual drive to Plano for good tex-mex . Thankfully we have a place five minutes away in Sachse. Frankie's has never disappointed either of us and every item we have tried has been fabulous. Ribeye tacos and chipotle enchiladas are out of this world and reasonable prices for what is placed in front of you to eat. Me and my girlfriend heard about this Mexican restaurant, had never been to it, so we decided to try it. We chose to sit at the bar and order a few drinks and some dinner and became a little dissatisfied with how our service began. The bartender that was working named Morgan, started out very stand offish and seemed as though she did not want to serve us and as we continued to sit there, her attitude became worse as she became snippy and she seemed to have a very bad attitude toward us. I would recommend the food as it was very good and we were greeted by friendly staff at the door, but due to the bartenders service, I would not recommend this place to my friends and others because of how I feel that they would be treated and it made for a very unpleasant visit and I would hope that people would be treated better who choose to eat and sit at the bar. read more
