I needed a cafe that had some tables so I could get some work done and Frame was a great spot. There were a handful of tables with outlets and the vibes were phenomenal. This camera wall was a nice view change from the usual. I got a vanilla latte and it was a good roast with great simple ingredients. I heard good things about their food items but didn't have a chance to try them. What takes the cake is the ambiance and being able to sit for a nice chat or getting some work done.

NOTE: no laptops allowed on weekends. There's a sign inside stating it. A worker kindly came up to me and another patron stating that we can't use our laptops on weekends but he allowed it for this one time. Other than that, this is a super cute place to come for a light bite to eat or a drink, and relax by yourself or with a friend. There's some space inside and outside to work. The quinoa scrambled bowl was great for something semi healthy, and was surprisingly a great portion size. Also, the iced matcha latte I had was good too but they didn't have too many milk offerings. Overall, not sure I'll be returning simply because when I go to coffee shops I need to use my laptop, and the only time I really have for that is on the weekend.

As the producer of the early-2000s-hit, New York Times- and Unwrapped-featured review site Eggs Benedict New York, I certify Frame's grated-Gouda-topped truffly-hollandaise with oyster mushrooms (mine; also available w/ smoked salmon) dish, with perfectly poached eggs atop soft English muffins, as an excellent alternative Benny. Especially after good news from the gastroenterologist.

Came for a very early Saturday brunch with a dear friend. Food is good and decent prices! I ordered the Truffle eggs benedict ($18) and split the blueberry ricotta pancakes ($11) with him. The pancakes were a bit small in portion size and felt a bit cold when I received it, but absolutely devoured the truffle eggs benedict. The side of mushrooms and the umami richness complemented the hollandaise sauce very well. Please note that the seating is pretty limited and they don't take reservations, so great to show up early. It was a really clean cafe, and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back for the Benedict again! They had a crofffle that also looked super good, and is something i'd try next time.

Truffle eggs Benedict was out of this world. Great service, clean and organized. Plenty of seating available with good flow making your worthwhile wait brief. Would come back to try the entire menu.

this place has a nice vintage vibe. its super tight when its busy and they have few tables of 2. its a cool place to come in and catch up with a friend or even do some work. I like that there are no laptops allowed on the weekends. food was excellent. it was a light healthy snack but quality of the eggs and waffle was astounding. it was a perfect meal to have before going to work. the dirty chai latte was also very good.

I can not understate how amazing the interior and ambiance of this place is! I love absolutely everything about the space and atmosphere and the friendliness experience in Frame! They have cameras around the entire spot which makes it so much fun! The coffee on the other hand was just ehh with a little bit below just okay, I greatly appreciate the option of pour over but it just came out fine.

A very NY sized cafe with just a few tables, great coffee, nice staff and great food! My only complaint would be that it is small and if you're planning to eat there you may not get a seat. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Loved my prosciutto scramble and the croissant/waffle crossover was something I never knew I needed in my life.

Came to Frame for coffee with a friend and I liked it so much I came back the next day for brunch. Had hot americanos with a splash of oat milk both times and they were both exceptional hot americanos with a splash of oat milk! I got the prosciutto scrambled for brunch and it was sooooo delicious. The eggs are light and fluffy and it's fun to make little bites with the salty prosciutto, heaps of Parmesan, and the sweet croffle. Excellent breakfast. I really want to try some other items, like their quinoa bowl or eggs Benedict! My friend and I hung out here and did some laptop work for a bit after eating, and it was a pleasant environment! The store is a bit small but we didn't have trouble finding a table. Also got a matcha latte later on and it was okay.

One of my favorite UES coffee shops! Tasty and aesthetic drinks, great decor, and really nice staff. The espresso drinks are flavorful and well-balanced. In terms of food, I've tried the waffle and the spinach pastry - both were good but not particularly amazing. The cafe is on the smaller side and tends to get a bit crowded on the weekends but I've always been able to find a spot for two.

I want to try as many new coffee places on the upper East Side as possible. So, one day on a walk I popped into this place! I loved the decorations of the film cameras on the wall and the the plants. Ordered an iced matcha latte and it sucked. Asked her to add vanilla (she charged for vanilla, understood) and didn't taste it and then I asked to add more and she said it was an additional charge? Look at this atmosphere, i fallin love this cafe. The coffee tasted was outstanding, and all the employees were super nice and known for coffee very well. Great place went here after staying UES for a month, very mellow clean ambiance. Croffle ham sandwich was exactly what I expected warm crunchy on outside with soft interior. Vanilla latte also exceeded expectations, hole in the wall coffee shop that is slept on. Highly recommend if you are in the area! read more

Frame is a great casual brunch spot in the UES. Favorites are definitely the avocado toast and chai tea latte. It can be hard to get a spot on a busy day since it's first come first serve and is a small restaurant, but if it's nice out get it to go and eat at Central Park! read more

This new cafe is a gem !! We tried the Affogato, Es Yen and Matcha latte. Not only the presentation is nice but the coffee tastes really good. The decor of the cafe is very unique and interesting. Personally, I love love love my Es Yen. It is the perfect combination of coffee in THAI STYLE. Highly recommended! read more

Frame NYC is a new Thai-style independent specialty coffee shop on the UES. It's elegant and approachable, with a simple yet sophisticated menu of coffee and non-coffee options with pastries. About 14 seats inside- a combination of benches and super comfy chairs. It's work-from-coffee-shop friendly with a few outlets on either end of the seating area. The decor is inventive and lux- it feels like you're sitting in a swanky living room. The coffee is superb, locally roasted and each beverage is crafted with care. You'll find cheaper elsewhere on the block, but the highest value proposition is at Frame. This coffee has FLAVOR. The pastries are also a touch above- with a craffle (croissant + waffle) being a recent hit with local patrons (or at least this one). Croissants, muffins, and some gluten-free options are available. The house specialty is Es-Yen, a Thai-style coffee made with espresso and condensed milk. It's sublime. Service is welcoming and helpful, it's clear they are committed to the neighborhood and their patrons. Be sure to visit Frame, you won't be disappointed. read more

A very aesthetically pleasing cafe. Went in on a Sunday and it was full with people working at tables. The coffee was decent and had a smooth taste which I enjoyed. They definitely make a strong cold brew too. The prices are a little higher than other places, but glad I gave it a try. read more

Really chill cafe with nice decor. It gets a little cramped sometimes and the coffee is just average. This is a non issue though, since it is so clean and nice looking inside. The only issue is the guy in the tie-dye teeshirt that works on weekends... Dude has an incredibly strong odor of weed; when I walked into the cafe, I almost had an asthma attack. Hands down, best coffee in the UES. As someone who recently moved from Seattle, I've been looking for a go-to coffee shop here that consistently delivers in terms of quality, service, and ambience. This is it. Everything on the menu is well balanced - not too bitter, not too sweet, ratios are perfect. Not a lot of room to sit inside, so go early if you plan to do work/grab a seat. Just went in there on April 27th at 9:15 in the morning. They weren't busy. Ordered an avocado toast to go. Waited 20 min. The order still hadn't come out. I told the woman at the counter i need to leave please give me a refund. She told me we do food orders in order. Then she turns to her coworker and the cook and says do you have his order. My order was sitting on the floor the whole time in a to go back. For 14 dollars for an avocado toast id rather go to dunkin up the block pay a fraction of the price and receive my avocado toast in 5 min. As someone who has lived in the area for 14 years if they don't get there act together they won't survive. There are a lot of other of places with coffee and avocado toast. read more

Such a cute cozy cafe with friendly service. I came on a weekday to get some work done. My cappuccino was good and they have a nice assortment of food. The Wi-Fi was working fine until the cafe got busy, so it may not be ideal for those looking for WiFi. Overall, lovely spot on the UES and I will surely go back. read more

In a city and a neighborhood with no shortage of coffee shops, I do believe you really have to stand out to be noticed. This place hits all of the right notes. Very professional and respectful staff. The lady behind the counter even goes out of her way to help elderly patrons find seats when they come in. The coffee is very good and I absolutely love that they play standard coffee house jazz. Rewards program always a plus. Not a very extensive pastry menu, but what they do have is quite tasty. Monday through Friday, especially, most people in there seem to be doing work. This place provides exactly the type of atmosphere you would want if you are a professional just trying to get some work done but in a public space that is both accommodating and comfortable. Ordered delivery for the first time from here today. The food arrived perfectly packaged and just as well put together as I would expect in person. I ordered the yogurt bowl, in which every piece of fruit was so incredibly fresh and organized like a work of art! The coffee was delicious, as was the mushroom toast. I work in a restaurant and am so impressed by what clear great care this space and its employees take in their work. Can't wait to go in person! read more

Personally I love that they serve brekkie until 4pm... love their egg sandwich with sunny side egg, bacon, hash brown, tomatoes, arugula... it's worth the messy hands situation it causes. They also have great bowls, salads, sandwiches, pasta. My friend ordered the eggs, with sourdough and salad... plus lattes. $14++ egg sandwich.

I liked the bathroom a latte. But the rest of the place wasn't really my style. I prefer a more isolated environment such as the bathroom. I ate my whole meal in there. Keep up the good work!
