Would rate ZERO out of 5 stars -- Save Your Money (and Your Nails) My daughter surprised me with a mani-pedi as a special treat, and unfortunately Foxy Nails turned what should have been a lovely experience into a disappointing one on every level. She called ahead, told them exactly what we wanted -- manicures, pedicures, and gel polish -- and they confirmed the appointment without any issue. When we arrived, two technicians started our pedicures, but the work was barely that. My feet soaked in water and then got painted. That's it. No trimming, no shaping, no cuticle work. My toenails came out looking like different lengths. The gentleman working on my daughter did a noticeably better job than the person who did mine, which tells me the quality is entirely inconsistent. When the pedicures were done and the technicians started packing up, my daughter had to remind them we'd also asked for manicures. Same story -- no filing, no shaping, no trimming. Just a soak and gel polish under the lamp. The atmosphere was equally unprofessional. Staff were talking and laughing amongst themselves the entire time, one employee was asleep in a salon chair and woke up mid-visit, and the whole environment felt chaotic and disorganized. I had been to this salon once before and wasn't impressed then either. This visit confirmed it has only gotten worse. I would not recommend Foxy Nails. Whether they don't care or simply aren't trained properly, the result is the same -- subpar work and a forgettable experience for what was supposed to be a special occasion. read more

Today was my worst experience ever at Foxy's nails, although I have overlooked a few bad times in the past today I could not today. My nail tech Linda was very RUDE, sadly I think she knew it therefore she told Steven about my question of my toes but not her response. I got a full set of nails that was so short my hands look like a child's nails. Once again she stated " I asked you before cutting the tips" then she said " once I apply the acrylic it looks shorter so you will know next time" then she proceeded to say " I am NOT a mind reader". Pedicure was excellent.. hand services just ok and the technician, Linda, was rude. She was obviously irritated every time I asked a question during our encounter. When she was done, she rushed me out of her chair. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that she left my fingertips messy with dried glue and dip residue. I noticed at checkout after paying and giving generous gratuity. When I pointed it out to the front desk and was directed back to another chair, she rushed over and used a tool to pick off the dried dip polish. When I pointed out that there was still dried glue on my finger tips and asked if I could use the brush to get it off, she called me picky, and not in a joking way. At this point I had no more patience and got up and told her I'd take care of it on my own. I told the front desk she was rude and that I was offended. They didn't apologize, just offered to fix it for me, but my experience was so bad, I felt I desperately needed to get out of there. I have little patience for being called names when asking for things to be corrected after paying for a service that is done subpar. I'm visiting my mom from Miami and she comes here all the time. Beautiful nail salon in the Lee Branch shopping center. It's immaculately clean and they have a lot of nail technicians. Ivy did my gel manicure and as you can see from the picture she did an excellent job. Any woman that gets their nails painted this milky pinkish/white color knows that it's hard to get it perfect. It can get really streaky but Ivy's technique didn't leave one single streak. I will continue to drive from Mt. This review is about the nail tech Linda. I've been to other techs there, Billy is awesome, kind and insanely talented. Linda was very condescending and I stated multiple times I wanted the coffin nail shape, they turned out incredibly square. They still looked decent but if I'm paying 90$ not including tip, I would really prefer someone who knows what nail shapes look like. Anytime I asked her to continue shaping them up or to sharpen them up, she said she would get to it. She also kept passive aggressively telling me I wasn't relaxing my hands. I've never had a nail tech complain so much about my hands not being relaxed. She told me to look away because it bothered her I was watching her. So I had to awkwardly turn my entire body to stare at the TV. And I've been getting acrylics for years. I told the girl at the front that I wanted coffin and showed her my nails. Even she agreed, they were square. The girl at the front was very understanding and insisted I should have Linda fix them. Linda was so rude while fixing them and they still weren't what I wanted. I ended up going home and shaping them myself. I think a lot of the techs here are awesome. Just didn't appreciate the condescending nature and blatant rudeness from Linda. read more

Visiting from out of town went in for a pedicure. Told them I wanted a gel pedi.. Chose from the menu presented to me a $47 pedicure cost. The guy who did my pedicure cut both big toes while removing cuticle and then dug at the nail bed of one nail until it actually hurt. He told me I had a hangnail and he was trying to dig it out. I told him not to worry about it, my podiatrist usually takes care of that. At check out they told me it was 72.00. Apparently the gel is an additional 25.00 which was not relayed to me beforehand. I've never had a pedi cost that much in even the largest cities! What's worse is my toe is pussing and infected from them cutting it open. I am so distraught and sad after leaving this nail salon. I cannot begin to express my dissatisfaction with the service. I do not mind if a nail technician does not want to speak or have a conversation, but when somebody new does my nails I at least like them to ask me how much of my nail I would like cut, and the shape that I would like my nail. This was not the case. The nail technician was very fast and sloppy! In fact, the fans were turned on where you normally place your hands for the nails to dry, but I was never asked to put my hands in front of them. My nails were thick and bumpy, and when the nail tech was done, they were so horrible that my nails looked like they had already grown out because the S&S dip was not to my cuticle and it looked very unnatural. There is still powder dip all around my cuticles, and the nails are going in different directions, which is odd because these are my own nails, and do not naturally go in the shape that they were done.On a good note, the manager did have the nail tech try and fix my nails but they still looked horrible and definitely not worth $57.!!!! there are too many nail salons in this area, so please re-think this salon before you have your nails done. read more

My family and I have been coming here since they first opened. We have spent thousands of dollars here over the years but we will not give another penny to them. I stopped going a few years ago because I felt as though they overcharged and were not incredibly friendly. Every time that I went it seemed like the price for a manicure was made up off the top of the employees heads, the prices were never standard. My mom and grandmother continued to go up until a few weeks ago, when they both went for manicures. My mom got gel and my grandmother got SNS. Her SNS nails stayed on almost three weeks, but this past week one popped off to reveal a bright green nail underneath. The polish she got was a sparkly purple, so I know that the green is definitely not from staining. A few more of the SNS came off over this past week and underneath each one was a green, infected nail. She called Foxy Nails and the person who answered showed little to no concern. The person on the phone told her that they would be open the next day at 9 AM and have someone there to take a look and remove the remaining polish. My grandmother came in the following morning just for the man at the front desk to say that everyone was busy but they could try and fit her in, even though they had told her the day before they would have someone ready. He took one look at her nails and said "That is a fungus." and then got someone to attend to her. One of the employees removed the remaining polish and then filed and drilled her nails down to try and get rid of the green but it became clear that the green coloring is between her nail and nail bed. One of the men asked her where she had gotten them done and tried to place the blame on a different salon, but this is the only place she has been. His exact words were "We have a lot of employees working here, not all of them are good." What does that even mean? Salons should not hire people who do not know what they are doing. She went straight to the dermatologist afterwards and they said that it is either a bacterial or fungal infection underneath her nails. They sent off some samples to a pathologist and while they wait they are treating her for both fungus and a bacterial infection. I do not recommend this place as they are not very friendly and are very unsanitary. read more

I get my nails done regularly (every 10-14 days) and am not easily impressed but I had to write my first Yelp review to tell people about this place. We were in town for a funeral and only had limited time the night before. This place was in the shopping center near our hotel and my mom and sister and I walked in without appointments. We got served immediately by very courteous staff, in a CLEAN atmosphere (plastic inside pedicure bowl gets replaced each time) where we felt taken care of during a difficult day. While this place might be a little higher than some other cheaper nail shops, you can't get better for your money. Won't go back. I went in to get my acrylics removed and gel polish put on. They asked me multiple times what I wanted and switched me to different techs. When she removed the acrylics, she buffed down my real nail too, and missed acrylic in some spots. Then I picked a gel color to put on since my nails are weak. She got some parts of my nail so thin that I was in pain. Once I picked a color, she went and got it and after 3 nails she said the polish was almost out. Instead of changing colors, she kept on, putting hardly any polish on each nail. Now it's a week later and my gel is chipping and I can see through the polish in multiple places. He is definitely one that you should to ask for when you visit. He was witty and fun to talk to. The salon was very large with 2 walls filled with pedicure chairs, an abundance of manicure stations and nice decor. I must also note the salon was impeccably clean. He literally did minimal and was rushing between me and another person. My nails were filed so roughly it hurts to even touch the tips of my fingers. As well as my thumb is swelling at the cuticle and I'm pretty sure it's infected. I wouldn't recommend and I will not be returning due to the trauma my nails went through.
