I loved the vibe of this place. We stopped here for coffee while visiting Flagstaff and although it was busy, it didn't take long for us to get our coffee. Service was fast and the cashiers were friendly. I loved the interior of the restaurant, along with the fact that it had lots of seating and a parking lot. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with orange and thought it was really good. I like that the prices are reasonable (around $5) and they have unique flavors such as orange, cardamom, and lavender. Would come again!

Stumbled upon this coffee shop when I was visiting Arizona. They just recently opened and the coffee shop is very spacious and clean. I ordered their iced latte with orange bitters. It was decent, but the coffee taste could be stronger. The service was great. it would be a great place to get some work/studying done.

Blueberry muffin chai + chocolate croissant

The most gorgeous barista was so nice and recommended a delicious blueberry muffin chai when I asked what to get. Very well put together coffee shop with different types of lounge areas plus a fire place which is cool. I sat outside, chilled and enjoyed the good music they were playing on the speakers. Definitely a great place to get some work done or decompress.

Epic! Legitimate coffee place that offers dark and light roast options on brewed coffee. French press. Pour over. Siphon. Heavy cream available. This place knows it's coffee. Grabbed one on the way to Sedona, had to stop by on the way to California to get one more for the road.

Passing thru on our way home to CA. Service , food, and ambience were amazing! We had this potato and egg sandwich unforgettable! The pretzel breakfast sandwich was also delish! Thank you to the welcoming staff! What can be better than community and coffee! Im excited to come back when I'm in town again.

Foxtail Coffee is Flagstaff's newest (and best) coffee shop! Beautifully decorated with a sophisticated chill vibe. Plenty of room to bring your laptop, and sit by the fireplace. They have a ton of coffee options, as well as breakfast sandwiches, bakery treats, even Gelato and pup friendly Popsicles! Staff is awesome and service is top notch. Come support a great LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED gem!

I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Their waffles are incredible as are their burritos, skillets, tostadas, and gorditas. Breakfast always comes with a side of whole beans (flavored with ham hock) which are super fresh. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. I HIGHLY recommend Madrez if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican brunch spot. Support local!

My partner and I ordered a chorizo burrito, a skillet poblano, and a plain waffle. While everything was just okay, it honestly felt like something we could have made better at home. I especially wouldn't recommend the waffles -- they were very airy, almost like toast, and at $14 they just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.

We opted for a hot vanilla oatmilk latte and a Matcha Americano. We got both of these to go. The vanilla latte didn't have any sweetener or vanilla in it. I'm not sure if they maybe put a little bit but nothing really pulled through. The coffee itself was extremely strong, which is not a bad thing considering we were on our truck back home so it's a good thing to stay awake. The ceremonial Matcha was very light in the Americano. I'm not sure what their measurement is, but it could have used another half a teaspoon, at least. The patio is dog friendly and there was a pup out there already at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. Inside, they have beautiful hanging plants and ample room if you're coming here to study or to catch up with some friends.

Front of house was warm, attentive, and completely on it, the kind of hospitality that sets the tone right away. Food came out quickly without feeling rushed, and every plate delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The steak was cooked perfectly (chef's kiss), and the chimichurri had that bright balance. The prosciutto in the Savory Croissant Waffle was a star. Also, shoutout to a place that can genuinely do both coffee and food well. That's rarer than it should be. I'd happily come back just to sit with a latte and a chocolate croissant. Elite-worthy stop, no question.

We had a standard queen room both times and it's spacious, bathroom has two sinks one in and one out so yconvenient for two people sharing. The pool is a roundish shape but large enough to swim some laps when there aren't a lot of children there. There are four 2 level inter connected buildings and #4 being the furthest away from the lobby - you can park your car (parking is free) close to any building but it's a bit of a walk on foot. Location is a bit out of town not walking distance to downtown Flagstaff. Rating it a 3 star due to service. On a day when they don't seem to be full they still wouldn't accommodate a late check out by just an hour (at noon instead of 11 am) which I didn't think would have made any difference to them but would have made a huge one for us. Then there is the breakfast. Nice dining room and all, but service was slow and the food came lukewarm, this at a time when it was early and hardly anyone in the dining room. And in addition to that, I had tea and it came in a tea pot with one weak tea bag, and as I like my tea strong I asked for another tea bag in the same pot and was told I'd be charged a second pot of tea ($5). This kind of stinginess just doesn't befit the seeming stature of such a hotel. And finally, the teacup they gave me had a long crack in it - I discovered it when i saw the saucer filing up with tea and didn't think I spilled any in it. The crack was old and stained, not a new one, so it was shocking that no staff had noticed it for this long and cared enough to not continue using it. Let's just say I'd never encountered broken cups like this in lesser priced motels. For this trip to Flagstaff I also had a two-night stay in another hotel downtown and other than the swimming pool, it was much better value and more comfortable with more helpful staff - and no broken tea cups!

Thank goodness for his decision to come here because it was the food highlight of our whole trip! We were greeted right away at the counter and escorted to a table for our group of 4. On a Friday night, the restaurant was definitely busy, but we lucked out with finding parking in the lot and also getting a table. After a short wait to look through the menus (breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served all day), we decided on chilaquiles (Christmas), pozole and a tamale, a pork chimichanga, and the LGBLT sandwich with fries - quite an assortment! The interior decor is a feast for the eyes while waiting for the food. The red walls and decorated with paintings and art throughout, which we enjoyed talking about as we were seated. The food arrived quickly though, and our focus immediately shifted to how delicious everything was! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and homemade in the best ways. The portions were generous and if you know me, you'd know that value makes things taste better lol. Service was excellent, the food was divine, and even the horchata and tres leches that we were enticed to order exceeded expectations. What a gem of a place. Highly recommend.

The staff here are very friendly. It's very colorful inside with Mexican art. Paintings line the walls by local artists and yes they are for sale! Everything on the menu looked delicious! I wanted to try everything! They're known for their chilaquiles. They have a motto: This is the place that chilaquiles was built. But I went against my better judgement and ordered Jerry el Mujeriego (enchilada filled with pork green chile, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and topped with two over medium eggs. They're served with rice, beans, potatoes, and tortilla). My wife ordered Juevos Benedictos, eggs Benedict. When they brought our plates out, I couldn't believe how much food they gave us. The plates were full to the edges. Of course it came down to the flavors. My plate was just IOK. I was really expecting flavors that would pop, something that would stand out Mexican! Everything was kind of bland. I hate to say it, but it was as if they were catering to non Mexicans. I'm not Mexican, but I'm in a Mexican restaurant and I want bold Mexican flavors. Granted, they give you a lot of food. Maybe that's more important to some people. Now I wish I ordered their chilaquiles! My wife's Benedict was delicious however! The eggs were perfectly cooked and her dish was seasoned and had flavor. So our visit wasn't a total miss. I'm torn on how to rate them. A 3 or 4? I wish there were half ratings then I'd rate them a solid 3.5! I'll round it up!

Im giving this place 4 stars because even though I wasn't impressed by the drink itself, I was thoroughly impressed by the workers and the vibes there. Not only did I get to witness the workers' friendliness, I actually came back 30 mins later because my sister had spilled her matcha drink in her car and we didn't have paper towels. The bathrooms in this building only use the air drying machines (a con for me) and I asked the girls working if I could have some. They were so sweet, understanding and gave me extra what I needed, telling me if I need more please don't hesitate to come back. Now that's service! It was a nice day so we sat outside at one of the two tables they have upfront. They had some political items and stickers on the counter. Regardless of whether I have a similar opinions, different opinions or just see the complexity of various issues, I don't like when restaurants and other businesses have political items displayed.
