After being tossed around by a suburu dealer like a rag doll, i came here to test drive a slightly used suzuki. the car was in excellent shape. a new battery had obviously been installed and they had changed the oil. a good sign that they actually care about their product. i liked the car, it was priced so fairly ($1K less than another suzuki dealer in the area) that i did not bother to haggle on the price. Then there was my trade in, a previous dealer low balled an offer for my trade, Experience gave me a better offer but not what i had expected. They did, unlike the suburu dealer, did explain that unbeknownst to me, the carfax report on my car wasn't clean. They were happy to show the carfax report to me and even xeroxed a copy for my records. Needless to say i bought a suzuki from them. I have been very happy with it. The only negative thing i can say about this dealer is their lack of follow up. Most dealers that i have bought from call back a few weeks later to see how the car is doing and discuss any issues etc. Also send perhaps oil change or accessory coupons and whatnot in the mail. I think if this dealer did that, they'd get another star.

Stradas Auto is easily the best kept secret in Aurora. They just did a full four wheel brake job on…read moremy mom's car, and I can't believe both how cheap it was AND how quickly they were able to do it. The manager dude there (Who I assume is Gabe Strada, the guy who owns the place?) was incredibly nice, and took me out to the shop to show me everything wrong with the car that they were going to replace before doing any work on it. This sort of thing is ultra-reassuring, as I basically walked in there and was like, "I've got no idea what's wrong, my mom says it makes noise on the rear passenger side." They could've gone wild telling me stuff was bad and needed to be replaced, and I'd never have known. Instead, they re-used as much as they could, replaced what couldn't be salvaged, and I was off and on my way. Originally I was a little weary when I took the car in, as they told me they were just going to check the whole car when I started explaining the problem. Usually, you go somewhere that "checks everything" and you walk out with more problems than you came in with. Not the case here, they noted the AC wasn't working, and I was like "Oh, yeah, I don't think it's ever worked." Gabe (I think?) asked if I wanted to risk $20 to try to fix it, and threw a can of freon in just to see what'd happen. Sure enough, ice cold AC. I seriously just love shops like this that have that kind of attitude of "Hey, this isn't working, let's try a super simple fix that doesn't cost much, and see what happens." Again, that's another repair that they probably could've sold me on a new compressor or who knows what else. Overall, a totally pleasant surprise, and I'll be going back to them as long as they're open. How often can you say you took your car to a mechanic and they fixed your problem way faster than you expected for a fraction of what you were thinking you'd have to pay? For me, this is definitely a first.

Got a quick response from the owner (Lou) and was told they were available Monday morning in a two-hour window. Took off work Monday morning to wait for them, nobody came. Called the owner, was told there had been some emergency but they would try to come later that day in the evening. He also increased his initial quote by $50. That evening, received a text from Lou saying none of the staff were available, asking to reschedule. Confirmed a new appointment for Wednesday evening. Wednesday rolls around, I get completely ghosted - no response to texts/calls, and nobody shows up at the appointment time. Got my installation done elsewhere.

I submitted a request for a quote here on Yelp and they were one of the first places to reply. They offered a low price but being mobile made me suspicious we gave them a call. After talking through the issue we were surprised and excited that they could fix the car right where it was. This saved us from having to pay for a tow truck. Also, it was Black Friday and they were able to come to us on Monday morning. We purchased a new starter through Auto Zone (thanks to their Black Friday deal we got 20% off AND free next day delivery!!) The guys arrived 30 mins early!!!! It was amazing how they just lifted up my Honda Civic which had been sitting in my parking lot since Wednesday. It took a few hours but they were able to install the new starter and charge us what they quoted over the phone. We are very happy and impressed! The next time my "city car" (a 2008 Honda Civic) needs something I am definitely going to call Super Mobile Mechanics first.
