Decent food. Everything was good. Street tacos was the highlight. Ohhhh and the blueberry bobber was tasty. Wait staff had masks and sat tables spaciously. Felt good. read more

Awesome service! Amazing food! Staff is not bugging me every 3 mins like some places, very professional and friendly

We called (on short notice) to host a small group, post funeral, for a late lunch with drinks and appetizers. When we arrived the manager brought us back to a nice area where appetizers were already on the table with the special made three item menu, which had a nice dedication to our departed loved one. Our server, who was young and fairly new got all orders of drinks and food spot on and was very cordial during our whole event, thank you Max. I would recommend this place to anyone and we have already gone back for drinks ( check out the domes). Last but not least I always rate the bathrooms " these were very clean" I think a clean bathroom tells a lot about a place, maybe that's just me? read more

We were hopeful given the beautiful weather, live music and spacious outdoor area but were greatly disappointed by the food. The Cesar Salad was dry, the brisket tacos were tough, the pulled pork Mac was spicy. The fish and chips were just OK, not flakey like I had hoped. The waitstaff was kind, helpful and worked hard. The place has great potential. read more

Fast service, great food, clean fun environment, the elk burger is fantastic as is the salmon on rice

For the love of god do not come here for breakfast. Pancakes are $5 for frozen Michelle Obama school breakfast frozen pancakes. They came out hard as a rock the first time, came out the second time still hard, we decided to try them for fun and the eucharist at church has more flavor. Husband's food came out first, it was lukewarm and wrong, he ate his whole meal before mine came out piping hot so they clearly forgot to make it. I waited 10 minutes while I watched him eat but I didn't even mind because the food was terrible. Waffles are also frozen and taste freezer burnt, swallowing them was like the texture of cement. Coffee was cold. If you have any respect for your mother do not come here for breakfast. Please. Go to Two Brothers, Good Yolk, even Kwik Trip has better breakfast than here. Please just stick to beer. You have been for-warned, and if you decide to go here anyways then you are a lunatic!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Food was great! Cool atmosphere. Will be back!! Service was fast. They have igloos outside

Went to this restaurant for dinner after the Oshkosh aviation event. It's next to the lake with an amazing view and outdoor seating. The interior feels like a typical Wisconsin lakeside bar. We ordered a couple of their home brewed beer. one of them named "reeling it in" had a great light summer taste. Just right for this time of year. The chicken chili was very good. We also got the wasabi salmon taco, steak taco, a burger and a chicken sandwich. You get 2 tacos plus chips and salsa. Both very delicious, wish it came with fries instead of chips tho. The burger is very standard, nothing special. The chicken sandwich came in a Italian tomato bun which was nice. We very much enjoyed our experience there. The service was great. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. read more

Enjoyed going to the Taproom this past Saturday night. We had a big group of UWO parents and students after a sporting event. The waitress suggested to me the Chicken Bruschetta with green beans. It was amazing, would order again. Another person in our group had the nacho which they stated could have had more cheese. My husband had the pork sandwich and stated he would order that again as well. The service was good considering we had over 30 people come in at the same time. So way to go Taproom for managing the crowd. read more

Food is okay but overpriced. Service was horrible. Sat at a table for 10 minutes multiple servers and bartenders walked by without acknowledging us at all. Wasn't busy which would otherwise be understandable. We relocated to the bar just to get service and even then service was mediocre and we're made to feel like an inconvenience asking any simple questions such as what the "soup of the day" was. Vibe was just not it for me. read more

I love craft beer so it's fun to visit the tap rooms and drink fresh beer. As tap rooms at breweries go this is the biggest and best prices on pints and growler fills. They have a big dinning area and flat screens with sports on. They make one of my favorite ipa style beers but the beer menu has something for everyone read more

This is an excellent location for outdoor dining on the water in Oshkosh. There is a huge area with seating at either high tables or picnic tables. We went at noon on a week day and it was busy however we were seated immediately and a server was soon taking our drink and food orders. We did not have to wait long for our food, and it was very tasty. Prices were reasonable with lunch for two including two beers and a cocktail for around $50. There is corn hole toss games available and a large outdoor gas fire pit for evening. You may come by boat as there is plenty of tie up space on multiple piers. read more

Really tasty Santa Fe Salad with blackened chicken, corn and black beans. Also liked the Crab Cake Caesar salad. Lots of interesting choices, and it's close by, so I'm sure I'll be back. Also- have their stout- it's the blackest stout I've ever had! read more

I really like this place. The staff is always welcoming as was our waiter, very accommodating. Clean, nice setting, on the water... watching the ships come in. Too bad the food isn't very good, at least what we had. Came in for burgers but looking at the nice offerings on the menu almost changed our minds. Probably should have. Waiter said the new chef put it together. It always peeves me when a nice place like this (with a shinny new chef) serves up a dry, GRAY, tasteless hamburger. What gives, I can't say for sure but maybe the problem is in their sourcing. This tasted like a frozen, Sysco foods, bulk buy tasteless patty. Economical, easy to store, easy to cook, better profit stream. But really, $30.00 for 2 burgers, fries and Arnold Palmers, I expect better. Guessing it's to much trouble to use fresh meat. I find it difficult to describe the french fries. It would be easy if I could just say they tasted like potatoes, but they didn't. The best french fries always taste like potatoes. These weren't like seasoned fries... or maybe they were but I couldn't get past the straight from the walk in freezer, dipped in old oil, Sysco foods "special frozen fries". In-N-Out's famous fries on the West coast, cut fresh right there in front of you, "spiced" with salt, go for $1.60... and taste like potatoes. Did I mention fresh?. Come on new chef, it's not that hard! Look at my review on Double B's in MKE for what a good hamburger should taste like. read more

Love this place as it offers a good place for R and R for when the rest if family is shopping. We typically sit in the bar and enjoy the high top tables and TVs. Not a ton of food offerings but a couple go to for my family are the Crunch Chicken tenders and the pizza. I joined the mug club which is a great deal and reason to Bering you back. If you plan on coming a few times a year and will have a couple beers each visit this is for you. One reason for 4 star rating is the decor. I feel it's slightly outdated and hasn't been remodeled since opening. Feel they could do more with the bar arena as well as the outdoor patio for the 3 months you can use it in Wisconsin. read more

Two locations and both are awesome! The one in Appleton, in the mall- very convenient and chicken quesadilla appetizers are very tasty! The other location, on the river and very close to bike trail. Can go for a bike ride and come back for one of their many beer choices!! read more

Location? Check. Great servers? Check. Great food? Check. Value? Not so much. In case you're not familiar with my reviews, four stars is a very high rating from me. I reserve five stars for really outstanding places. If I gave five stars to every outstanding place I've been to, I wouldn't have a way to point out really, really special places. With that introduction, I can tell you that Fox River Brewing Company should have gotten a solid four stars from me. The location, on the shore of the Fox River is superb. The beer is good! The food was good, the servers are terrific and the kitchen is fast - great service! I knocked it down one full star because of the prices. I expect to pay a premium for craft beer, I can live with that. But ten bucks for a grilled cheese sandwich? Gimme a break. The other prices on the menu are similarly high. Granted, the cheese sandwich has three kinds of cheeses on it, and bacon (Everything is better with bacon!) but I wound up paying dinner prices for lunch. That hurt an otherwise excellent experience. (An extra slice of each kind of cheese would be nice, especially for the price they charge.) I can recommend Fox River Brewing Company, just as it was recommended to me. However, I was not warned nor prepared for sticker shock. You have been. I suggest you go on the website and check the menu before visiting. read more

The service was not good. We felt rushed before we even sat down. If I am spending a good amount of money on a meal, I don't want to feel that I am being rushed to get out. 1. We ordered the chicken burger and the bun was completely soaked when I received it. It was disgusting. I didn't eat it. Wet soggy bun with dry chicken. Take it off your menu if you don't know how to cook it. 2. We ordered the crunch chicken tenders and they tasted like old wet fish. Absolutely disgusting. We threw these away. My dog wouldn't even eat them when we brought them home in a box. 3. The beer wasn't even good. Very unfortunate. 4. We also ordered the chicken wings and these were also horrid. We are not usually the ones to tell the waiter/waitress if the food is bad but when she came back over to ask how everything was, we couldn't lie. The food was that bad. Nauseating food. Absolutely nauseating. read more

THE WORST DESSERTS EVERE!!! the dessert was $8 and tasted like it was from the freezer and was so bad. The pretzels were so stale and definitely freezer burnt. My chips were also stale and was $5 for that. I don't recommend these items. read more

WORST DESSERTS EVER!!!!! other than that, good atmosphere and food just do not get desserts.

My latest trip to Fox River Brewing. We were told there was no wait (half the seats were empty on a Saturday night). However, my friends and I spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to just say hi to us after sitting down. Our Thai chicken wings were good, but many had broken bones which made it a choking hazard just to enjoy an appetizer...which arrived 2 minutes before our food. I ordered a buger medium rare, and confirmed I didn't want it well done with the waitress. It was burnt and ended up costing way more than it was worth. If you're going to charge $13 for a cheese burger, please make it edible. read more

Although this place has a great location and unless I just had a bad night, I would not recommend it. After arriving I headed outside to the gorgeous river seats. I waited 10 min for service with just a moderate crowd and finally moved to the bar where I had better luck. The bartender was prompt and courteous but the food was flat. I tried the sesame seared ahi tuna sticks which was bland and the chicken bacon grilled cheese. This sandwich had potential but I think a 4th grader put together. Additionally, it only had one piece of bacon on the whole sandwich. I had high hopes when I arrived but was glad to leave. read more

Very large brewery and tap room, the outdoor is very nice to sit right next to the fox river. Their two more popular beers are the blue bobber and red bobber I would recommend both although I do prefer the red bobber a little bit more. Love this place, beautiful view and delicious view. Been there twice in the winter time but would love to go back in the summer since they have outdoor seating on the River. Highly recommend the blue bobber! read more

Wow! I love this place. We went on 6/28/18 and had the most wonderful service. The hostess was great, so friendly and helpful, and our waitress was so very personable and was great at recommending beers for us! We ate out on the patio since it was such a beautiful night and although they were very busy, we never felt like we were waiting long for service or to be checked in on. They have great food and good prices-typically restaurant/bar food, and they have a good mix of higher end food and regular bar food like burgers and chicken tenders! Really enjoy coming here! read more

I think my favorite thing about this restaurant is that there's a dining (more classy) section as well as the tap house which is a sports bar. My boyfriend and I will come here by ourselves just to enjoy good food and relax, but we can also take our parents here for a nice and quiet meal. The food is so so good! I crave the margherrita (spelling?) pizza regularly. Love that the sports bar has board games and the patio has bags and other games. It's a fun restaurant we've always received excellent service at. read more

This was very disappointing as I have heard great things about this restaurant. I've been there 2 times now, When I went there the first time my friend and I got burgers with mold on the buns which obviously had to be remade but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Then the next time I went the 2 pizzas we had were not very good the Thai pizza and I believe bbq chicken was the other. I also tried the tacos and Mac and cheese here during those times and they were disappointing. It's an okay place food wise depending on what you get but it is a very nice place locationally especially when you're outside during a nice day. read more

This is my all time favorite restaurant in Oshkosh. I highly recommend their crunch wraps. There food was amazing , the servers were so helpful, enthusiastic and kind. The wait time for our food was super fast and I was surprised when our food was brought out. The tap room is a very fun room. The outside seating area is beautiful. The view is amazing. Very calming. I've eaten here three times now and I always get the crunch wrap but my family love the various burgers and the fries are PERFECT. love this place , you will not regret it. read more

Great brewery right on the river with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. The pretzels were great and the cheese sauce they came with was out of this world. Their crunch tenders are incredible and are HUGE. I highly recommend a "purple bobber" which is a half red bobber, half blu bobber beer. Waitstaff was a little overwhelmed with how busy it was at lunch time, but they were still pretty organized and very friendly. Overall great stop for a easy going lunch or a casual dinner on the water. read more

Yelp guided us in to this place as we were driving through Oshkosh on our way north. The place has a cool vibe and our server was very attentive and friendly.
