Unfortunately, my experience was a total disappointment. I paid $205 for the service to be delivered and was very clear about when I needed the food by. However, the food was never delivered, and I was given the runaround when I tried to contact the company. They claimed that the food was not delivered because of the holiday, which was unacceptable. When I finally got a response from them, an assistant named Dana texted me to say that they were closed that day. This was after I had called repeatedly and left several messages. It was clear that they had no intention of delivering the food. At this point, I had to come up with another solution for my meal prep needs, which was a huge inconvenience. My wife called the company from a different phone number and was told that we would receive a refund. However, we never received any refund despite reaching out to them through email. In the end, I had to dispute the entire process with Venmo to get my money back. Overall, I had a terrible experience with Spicy Girl Meal Prep, and I would advise anyone to stay away from them. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly do not care about their customers. Update: I find it outrageous that I had to resort to contacting several mutual friends on Instagram just to reach her. Finally, one of her friends came forward and told me that she had mentioned my experience to Jade. I was very clear with her that Jade was lying about the situation, and that I intended to leave a review about it a year later. It's interesting that Jade has just reached out to me with an invitation to have lunch and fix the situation, which seems shady and as if she's trying to cover herself. The truth is, she should have done this a year ago when I had a terrible experience.
