Welp I did it! Found the best sandwich I will have this year. Technically the best 2 sandwiches. I'm calling it. I thought they would be good but it was like every detail was thoroughly considered. I ordered the Fannicchi my wife ordered the wicked tuna. The cherry pepper relish is bright and acidic a great complement to the fatty mortadella. But in my opinion The sharp arugula and aioli do something special in the sandwich that is hard to describe. It really creates this pleasant hum throughout the meal that keeps having you crave more of the sandwich. My wife ordered the tuna and like and loving and sane couple we swap halves. The tuna might be the best tuna sandwich I've ever ordered. It's no surprise why the chips in the sandwich are a great addition but it's the dill that really sets it over the top. Again the perfect detail that has you craving your next bite while you're still chewing. Lastly the bread. It is my opinion that a sandwich is only as good as its bread. You can't be a top tear sandwich without great bread also a mediocre sandwich can outshine most if the bread is good. Rosemary Kitchen has great bread! We both ordered Dutch crunch it was perfect. Not gummy, not to thick, pillowy and those tiny crunchy bits Dutch crunch has were great. Now the customer service. I experienced them at the Marin farmers market so in this setting there isn't much interaction however the cashier was warm and welcoming. Helpful and present. For the short interaction it really was sweet.

Tried this pop-up at the new Standard Deviant Pier 70. Service was friendly and it worked well with a couple beers. The caesar salad sando was decent but the wagyu beef one with crispy onions was exceptional. I would return.

Amazing sandwiches! It's a little pricey but worth it. If you throw it in the toaster or airfryer for 1-2 minutes the Dutch crunch is so crispy. So yum! Pick up was easy and there are tables outside if you want to enjoy a nice picnic. Pick up a pastry from the Midwife and the Baker for your dessert!

Love this pop-up! I stumbled upon Rozmary while visiting a neighboring business and have tried to visit everytime I've been in the after since. Their sandwiches have such great flavor and are made to order so you won't get soggy bread from their delicious sauce, vegetable, and meat or fish combos. They also have a great breakfast sandwich that usually outlasts the sandwich availability since they don't allow that sandwich on their preorder page. So you don't get disappointed, order at least a day ahead on their online portal to ensure all of your sandwich options are available. Definitely a great option for sandwiches in the bay.

Few foods satisfy more than a Rōz sando. Split one of these with your bae and you've won lunch for sure. Seasonal offerings shine and you can't go wrong with the OGs.

We stop by Rozmary Kitchen's food stand every time we visit the Marin's Farmers Market. Line may be long at times, but definitely worth the wait. Menu changes every so often or seasonally but this time got The Corner Booth. Fresh ingredients, stuffed sandwhiches. Light and refreshing while filling.

Pop-up with tasty sandwiches with fresh dutch crunch rolls supplied by Midwife and the Baker. Tried the Fanucchi and the Southern Peach. Only downside is it's a bit on the pricier side. Pre-orders open on the website at 10AM on Wednesdays for you to pick up on Fridays. Pick up was quick and easy.

Delish sandwich spot!! We've been to their Midwife & the Baker pop-up twice and have tried the Beef n Greens (this was seasonal from a while back) and Wicked Tuna (on their current menu) and both were amazing. The Wicked Tuna is definitely the best tuna sandwich I've had! It's not too tuna-y and has the perfect crunch and balance of flavors. SO good, will definitely be back to get it again. Their sandwiches are a little on the pricier side but for the quality of ingredients and flavors, it's more than worth it to me. Plus, I always love grabbing a pastry at Midwife on the way out :)

Spicy Chopped Chicken Ceasar on Dutch Crunch

I found out about this restaurant at the Marin Civic Center Sunday market. It took 30 minutes for me to get up to the front of the line at about 11 am. I ordered the Spicy Chopped Chicken Ceasar on Dutch Crunch and it was delicious. As you continue to eat it the flavor develops along with the spicy. I wish the bread was crispier but overall it had good flavor. The roll added some nuttiness thanks to the sesame seeds and saltiness thanks to the cheese which was delicious. I feel like this brought the sandwich together. The chili oil also added really good flavor as overall the ingredients weren't overly seasoned. Overall the sandwich was delicious. It was really big too so I think it was worth the $18. I look forward to trying some of the other sandwiches that I overheard the line behind me recommend.

Rozmary Klub - herb turkey breast, bacon-chili jam, avocado, pickled onion, herby ranch, shredduce

This is my go-to sandwich spot in the Bay Area! They update the menu every couple of weeks so that you can always try something new and the sandwiches never disappoint. Made on an amazing Dutch Crunch roll from Midwife and the Baker - you honestly can't go wrong with any of the choices - sometimes I even find myself choosing the vegetarian option because the components of each sandwich are so well-crafted.

Nightshade sandwich - packed with flavor ($15)

I would recommend looking up their instagram just in case this happens to you. The team was kind and patient as it was my first time there. I ordered the loaded fries with a patty and it was delicious. The burger patty was seasoned and juicy. The fries were crispy similar to In n Out fries. With the sauce they used for the fries, I feel like I got a burger and then some. For the price, that will probably be my go to order since it is more filling than one burger. Overall, good food and I will try again at the original location.

I wish the bits were crispier and more smashed but it's one of the best you can find on the peninsula. We also got the French fries. Pretty standard frozen fries that were fried well. I would call before you go because they happened to be doing a pop up at fieldworks when we went so we had driven to the wrong spot. Prices also are fair and not expensive! Just expect a long line depending where they are. Try not to look at the dirt and grease caked on their equipment though....

We had a 730 pm reservation for the village chalet which seated 6 but there were 9 of us with my 5 year old and baby included! Even though seating was for 6 we were comfortable and even in the winter night pretty warm with the fireplace and blankets that were provided! The experience came with a pre fixed menu you can choose your 4 dishes plus a dessert for each person! Since we were 9 the server was very accommodating and asked if we wanted to choose 2 more items! It can come with an additional cost though to add 2 more dishes but it was PLENTY of food! We were stuffed! We chose the wagyu sliders, cheese board, charcuterie board, chicken pasta, margherita pizza, and cheese fondue! The servings were VERY generous so we did not leave hungry and with leftovers as well! At the end of the meal they give each person a ticket to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate which we indulged in around the corner in a cute little cozy decorated area with fire pits, seating areas and even a cute little igloo! If you want to come for a special occasion with your family or a couple of girlfriends its nice to try at least once! They are usually only open starting up around thanksgiving to early Jan!

I had tried to come here in years past but was never able to grab a reservation. I was able to snag one this year, however it was only for the regular seating, not the chalet. This is located inside the Four Seasons hotel, on the patio area next to the restaurant. The area is decorated with Christmas lights and chalet-style houses for folks to lounge in. We were seated by the large fire in the center of the area, the fire was nice since it was quite cold out, however it started getting too hot - we felt like the flames were getting too close to our face at some points. Unsure if the setting was on too high or if that was by design.... Anyway, on to the food - everything was lackluster. There's a $95 set menu, you get to pick 4 things to share and 1 dessert each. We selected the charcuterie board, fondue set, wagyu sliders, and truffle potato gratin. For dessert, we selected the smores & the lava cake. Since it was my boyfriend's birthday, they also gave us a small cake separately with a candle on top - which was a nice touch. Although the service and experience was fine, the food was not up to par with a 5-star hotel and the 5-star price that accompanied it. I ended up paying ~$250 for a basic meal. Not worth it, wouldn't recommend coming here and I will not be returning.

The space is intimate, with only 8 counter seats, so you're served directly by chef Li. To my surprise, all of the seats were full on a Friday at lunch. I didn't want to drink too much at lunch, but they had a $29 sake flight of three 1.5 oz pours, which was just the right amount to pair with the sushi but still be able to go back to work after lunch! Pre sushi: 1. Pickled baby ginger: I love this stuff, and he was good about refilling it 2. Crab with Japanese citrus jelly and shiso: a generous amount of sweet, fresh crab 3. Ankimo: two pieces, served with wasabi 4. Signature octopus: massaged 1 hour and stewed 1 hour - very flavorful and tender 5. Steamed abalone: served over soba with abalone liver sauce 6. Isaki: 3 line grunt fish 6. Kelp cured black snapper, shiso leaf, yuzu 7. Chutoro 8. Saba: mackerel with kelp 9. Otoro: torched, topped with uni The scallop and kinmedai were the highlights for me. We also got one of the à la carte add ons: the hand chopped fatty tuna and uni hand roll. To finish: red miso soup At the end, you can watch the chef preparing the bento boxes, which was a good reminder for me to keep my eye out for the next available pickup. The fish was high quality, and the pieces were cut to the right size (I've been to way too many places with unappealingly large cuts). Each course was thoughtfully prepared, and pacing was consistent. For the quality and quantity of food, as well as the service and dining experience, this was a hot deal for $125 a person. I won't forget how there were tasty options around every corner in Tokyo. Ever since I went to Japan last year, I crave delicious yakitori from a charcoal grill in the Bay Area and always seek out new places to try. I finally tried Okibiyaki-Kikuchi as a yakitori pop-up at ShaKa brewing after eyeing it for a long time. The grilled meat skewers were so delicious and enjoyable to eat with a cold beer flight from ShaKa brewing. The chef is a master of yakitori. I tried hatsu, kalbi, shishito, kimo, and bara tama. I can describe a perfect night like this. A perfect night included skewers from the live ember grill by the master chef and a beer flight. The flavors are legit-- the process of preparing the meat is impressive, and the technique with the charcoal grill brings out the best flavors. The Bay Area is treated to authentic flavors like in Japan. It is recommended that should arrive to the pop-up early as they ran out of the chicken skewers. I will absolutely order the chicken skin and thigh again and again. I also tried his pop up at Clandestine Brewery as well. The quality is so consistent and delicious.
