I feel bad giving this review but want to share my experience with the Yelpiverse. The mole was just ok, and the to-go container wasn't closed well (a piece of chicken got caught between the lid and container) so it leaked over my stuff. The empanadas are also just ok - they also gave us the wrong protein on accident.

Cauliflower mole not chicken mole like I ordered.

I tried the food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market. I ordered the chicken mole plate (to go) but was served the cauliflower mole instead. I wasn't able to go back to complain. I'm sure they would have made it right. The lady was friendly and polite. Still frustrating though.

I had nachos with beef, very fresh and filling. Chips may have been cheaper than expected, but everything was made fast and was really yummy.

    Decadent. Dense.

Oh.. my.. god.. I've seen their stall at the Campbell's Farmers Market for years but never tried them until they came to my work. I just know that anytime I see them in our calendar I will plan to indulge because ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Service was awesome, too. Ronnie saw the menu but because he's rather picky and not open-minded when it comes to food he left to go to our cafeteria whilst I stood in line to uncover what I have been missing for years. The chicken burrito and chocolate brownie = winner. The chicken was juicy and I loved every component inside my burrito. The brownie was decadent, dense, and rich.. *Tram approves* After we got back to our desks (we eat at our desks after the gym) I IM'd him to tell him the burrito is bomb. He regret not giving them a shot. I think the next time Oaxacan Kitchen is here he will definitely give them a shot. Yummy...

FOOD == (1/5) The tortilla for my breakfast taco was crumbly and tasteless. It does not go along with the filling which was chorizo but yet again there was no taste. I got my taco at the tent and would not get it again. SERVICE == (5/5) The worker serving us was nice and patient. Handed us the bag with a smile. VIBES == (4/5) It was an outdoor tent which has flee market vibes but there were no chairs around so we brought the food home.

Found them at the Campbell farmers market, nice place! I tried the breakfast taco and the pork taco. Pork taco was AMAZING!!! Super flavorful pork, fresh tortilla, and all the toppings. The breakfast taco was also good but if I had a choice to re-do my order I would stick with the pork tacos. Try them out!

Oh. My. Gosh. I tried the food truck in downtown San Jose, and all I have to say is the vegetarian nachos were the absolute best! The ladies had the best customer service educating my on the way they prepare their food. The habanero spicy sauce was memorable. Everything is so fresh! Tons of gluten free options. I highly recommend.

Their Mole "Negro". Should be the same color as the beans.. Didn't taste like Mole Negro either.

Super disappointed with Zaida's, especially for the price. The food truck has been coming to our Hospital for the past few weeks, and my employees warned me not to go here, but I wanted to try them out for myself. I should have listened to them because it was one of the worse Latin foods I've had. I ordered the Chicken Mole NEGRO plate ($17), a mole NEGRO tamale ($7 for 1), and a Horchata. Here is how this went.... Chicken Mole Negro Plate - Now I have had Mole negro all my life, and what was given to me yesterday was Mole Amarillo. After taking a bite, I knew that it was wrong and walked back to the truck. I asked the cashier if my order was right. Since he didnt know he asked the girl making my food, and without looking she said "yes it is". I was given back my food and sent on my way. See the attached picture, Mole negro is black, hence "negro". Not red. On TOP of that, the chicken was shredded and unflavored. Its like they put boiled shredded chicken on a plate, and put sauce on top. The flavors did not combine well, nor was the chicken seasoned. The rice was decent, but the beans were bland as well. For $17, I expected more flavor. The only SAVING grace was the fresh tortillas, they get a extra star for that. Tamale - Tasted exactly like the plate, except wrapped in a leaf. Overpriced and under seasoned. Horchata - Watered down sugar, that's the best way to describe it. I didn't even get a hint of cinnamon. Its great that they come to the hospital to serve our hard workers, but I feel like if you are going to raise your prices, at least keep your standards in place. Based on the other reviews, the food is "good" but my team and I have not had the same experience. After speaking to other areas of the hospital, they agree as well. I wanted to like Zaidas, but it was a fail. We will be passing on Zaida's food truck from now on. Thanks but no thanks.

You have to place your order before they give you a table to sit at, which I found be more efficient than waiting for a table. I ordered the burrata toast and had the option to switch out my salad with potatoes for $3 more. I opted to try the potatoes since my friend mentioned that they were super flavorful. My friend and I sat down close the the entrance and only waited about 10 mins for our food to come out. The pesto spread on the toast worked well with the burrata and tomato and the potatoes were in fact, super flavorful!! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

I explained that it was my first time there and asked what she recommended, but she completely ignored my question. That immediately made the experience feel unwelcoming. After sitting down, I was surprised to realize that everything is basically self-service. If you need forks, knives, napkins, or anything else, you have to get up and get it yourself. When i asked for them the staff looked at me and told me it's over there to grab it. II honestly feel that there should be waiters taking your order once you sit down, or at the very least, the staff should bring basic things like utensils and napkins to your table. The staff, including the cashier, should also be friendly and welcoming, especially to first-time customers. Instead, the employees seemed unhappy and disengaged, which really affected the atmosphere. On top of that, the bathroom was not clean and clearly needed attention. It's unfortunate because the food was actually really good. With friendlier customer service, some basic table service, and more attention to cleanliness, this could have been a much better experience. I honestly left disappointed

It's not overly fancy, and it feels like that good hearty meal that you would get at home... in Europe. I love it! The portions are fairly generous, and everything tastes super fresh, and is served with care. I originally thought I would have the breakfast sandwich, but ended up getting the classic two egg breakfast. My eggs were poached perfectly, the blueberry pancakes were topped with fresh blueberries, and powdered sugar with just combined together, took the flavors to the next level. The bacon was absolutely divine, but let's talk about the potatoes. They were buttery, crisp, fully flavored homestyle potatoes that make you want to put potatoes into their own food group. The service was great, the food was great, and this is definitely a restaurant that needs to be explored because everything on the menu sounds absolutely delicious! However, we parked in the lot and were able to get a seat right away. Despite having a stroller, nobody asked if we needed a booster seat/high chair, so I went to go get one myself... We ended up ordering two of the Joanie's Breakfast Medleys, mine with french toast and chicken apple sausage, and my wife's with pancakes and bacon. Although it was a decently sized plate, I guess I expected a bit more for over $25...the french toast was like two halves of one slice, but the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were good. Coffee was nice as well, and they kept coming by to refill, which was nice and needed. However disaster struck when one of the waiters knocked off a tray from a ledge right by our table. The tray crashed onto our table and spilled water, hot coffee, and creamer all over me, and our under two year old who started crying. I rushed over to check for burns from the coffee, but luckily it was okay. After the clean-up I was waiting to see if anyone might come by to ask if anything was needed, let me know if I could get more food since I wasn't entirely finished, or at least apologize and comp our meal. Unfortunately I didn't get any replacement food, and they brought the bill and mentioned that we didn't have to pay for coffee...$68 pre-tip was a little upsetting after our experience, even though I know accidents can happen... Of course, later on I smelled spoilt because of the creamer/milk that was still on my clothes after walking around the Farmer's Market...lovely...

Everything is above average in taste and execution. Brunch Tacos mole: chicken mole poblano, scrambled eggs, huitlacoche, tortillas, epazote crema, fried shallots & avocado. Perfect portioning and the salad that came with it had a fantastic dressing. I pulled some chicken out and gave it to my wife and then it was perfect, a bit too overstuff before. The mole and overall taste were quite good though. Chilaquiles: tortilla chips sautéed in chile de árbol-guajillo salsa, topped with queso fresco, cilantro crema, and an egg. My wife loved this so much it made her question every time she didn't order it before. Fried egg sandwich: two over easy eggs on house baked brioche bun, chipotle aioli, avocado, bacon, cheddar cheese, fried shallot. Kids loved this and happily ate the leftover after. Iced Mexican Cafe: delicious iced coffee with a distinct Mexican taste. Distrito Verde: mezcal, basil, lemon, and falernum. Simple but refreshing brunch cocktail, really paired well with the mole tacos. Chips and salsa: These are not free but worth the price. Both the chips and the 2 salsa are of extremely good quality and preparation. Abnormally tasty and the kids went crazy eating it.
