Ok, so I did not get any food here, because I walked out as soon as I saw people here handling food without gloves. Just disgusting.

I usually get the Aztec salad or the BBQ chicken burrito, both around $7 for a big lunch.

Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

Outdoor seating is available under the canopy of Sycamore trees and California oak trees in modern cobble stone tile pavers and gravel. I was really excited to try my first coffee flight. The flight was presented by the barista in 4 on shot glasses on a wood tray; starting with a shot of espresso, piccolo, drip filtered coffee and lastly iced filtered coffee. I forget the name of the exact source and blend - although the initial encounter is acidic, a full bodied flavor takes over and lingers in the palette in a beautiful balance. There are two staff members we see regularly, and they are incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. They provide such high-quality service, even on very busy days. The coffees they make are delicious, and I've noticed how they take care of guests so thoughtfully--sometimes even right at your table. Huge applause to both of them--they're doing an amazing job!

My matcha latte looked like the matcha had never been properly whisked--there were visible clumps throughout the drink. We showed both drinks to a girl from the staff who was walking around the café. She acknowledged the issue, said they were busy, and told us someone would help us shortly. No one ever did. After waiting and being completely ignored, we got up and left. It was an unnecessarily unpleasant and dismissive experience. A bit more professionalism and follow-through would go a long way. Otherwise, you're welcome to keep things as amateur as they were today--since we won't be coming back anyway!!!

Not much has changed except the price. The food really blew me away. When I came here in the past, I guess I was on a frozen mocha diet. I ordered the lasagna ($27 with tax). The French toast was fluffy, buttery, and easily one of the highlights. The omelette with cream and mirin really hit the spot, and the breakfast wrap was also excellent. No complaints here. Drinks (3/5): The drinks tasted good, but we ordered them extra hot and they arrived cold, which was disappointing. You are also responsible to pick them up so stay close to the barrista id you need coffee. Ambiance (4/5): The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which gives the place a fun brunch vibe. That said, it can feel overcrowded. The seating is very tight, tables are pushed close together, and the line can get quite long. Service (2/5): This was unfortunately the biggest issue. One of our items was missed in the original order. When I went back to fix it, staff initially entered it as a separate order and told me there wasn't much they could do and that I'd need to pick it up as a to-go order. After multiple conversations, I asked them to simply combine it with our original order and bring it to our table, which they eventually agreed to. When our food arrived, the missing item was still missing. After checking with staff three separate times, we were eventually told they were "doing us a favor" by giving us someone else's to-go item. By that point, we had already finished most of our breakfast and were ready to leave. The staff seemed more focused on explaining how busy they were rather than taking ownership of the mistake, even though the issue started with the original order being missed. Overall, this is a solid 4-star if you go on a quieter day and you don't need much customer service because the food is absolutely worth trying. On a busy day, though, be prepared for a potential 2-star experience, mainly due to customer service.
