We came here for brunch today. Mediocre food really. Very limited menu and not very authentic. I appreciate they do organic corn tortillas and safe to eat meats from chemicals and hormones. We shared some chilly con queso and guacamole. Guac was nice and fresh. Kids had grilled fish tacos and carne asada cheese quesadilla which came with rice and beans and a caramel nut cookie - score! Adults shared tacos - we tried baja fish taco (came cold and sogy), carne aside, chicken and shrimp. Our favorites were definitely the last two. Service is quite slow but ambiance is lovely and bathrooms are clean. I wouldn't return.

Came to Tacolicious as a group of eight for a Wednesday lunch, with no reservation and we were seated with no wait. ~The Service~ The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed! I'd say this was the best part of the experience. ~The Food~ I chose the lunch special, which came with two tacos and a choice of soup or salad. Here's what I chose: - Traditional Carnitas Taco: They added a good amount of carnitas that was pretty flavorful and tender! - Baja-Style Fish Taco: This taco wasn't my favorite. The battered/fried fish was a little too oily and it kind of overwhelmed the taco. Nothing too special here. - Chicken Tortilla Soup: Flavor-wise, the soup wasn't bad, but unfortunately, it was served pretty lukewarm. Maybe some of the other food choices would've been better? ~The Vibe~ Tacolicious is a very casual spot and usually, I don't see much of a crowd, so you'd most likely be able to get a table with no wait which is nice! Overall, the service and staff were very nice but the food wasn't for me. Not sure I'd try again, but maybe some of the other food choices would've been better!

Food Quality: *** (Decent, but not outstanding) Service: **** (Helpful and accommodating) Setting: *** (Casual spot with a lively vibe) Cost: *** (Great deals at happy hour, overpriced otherwise) I stopped by Tacolicious and tried their crispy chicken tacos, which were pretty good but nothing mind-blowing. What really stood out was their happy hour -- the prices during that time are fantastic, and that's when I'd recommend going. We also got nachos, and I really appreciated that they separated the beef and cheese to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian friends. That extra bit of thoughtfulness was a nice touch. The overall vibe is casual and lively, which works well for a quick bite or group hangout. However, if you're visiting outside of happy hour, the prices are on the higher side, and I honestly wouldn't go out of my way for full-priced items. Bottom line: Great spot during happy hour, but at regular prices, it's just okay.

Food was meh at best. Had the enchirito it was served lukewarm and was mostly a soggy flour tortilla filled with this mush of refried beans and 1tsp (not even a Tablespoon) of ground beef = 1. Also tried 1 of the 2 salads (not the kale, but the other) that was a 2.5. Drinks were really bad. Had the passion chiptos shots--which were just the juice from the jalapeño jar and some other type of fruit juice. Service was nonexistent in the beginning, however got better. The free chips were the best thing, however the salsa was not. Not planning on going back anytime soon. Yuck!

My coworkers and I came here for lunch during the week. We decided to sit at the bar where there was plenty of space. Food: I ordered the lunch special with two tacos. I got the mushroom "carnitas" taco and the potato & soyrizo taco. Both tacos were pretty good. I didn't get a ton of mushroom on the mushroom one though. The two tacos came with their signature salad that was very good. My coworkers and I also got guacamole to share. That was excellent. I ordered a horchata with my lunch too. The horchata was pretty standard. Service: Service at the bar was good. The bartender took our orders and food came out promptly when ready. It was difficult at times to get his attention for other items we needed, but that's to be expected at the bar. TL;DR - great taco lunch special. Will be back again

Went to Tacolicious after work with some coworkers, so it was a chance to try a variety of items. We ordered guacamole for the table, along with the chips and salsa. The guacamole was great, just the way I like it without the chunky tomatoes and onions. I also ordered 3 tacos: - Buttered fish taco - delicious - Shrimp taco - lacked flavor, but very spicy - Beef taco - under-seasoned And I washed it all done with a nice lemonade. Overall, the tacos were underwhelming - but now I know to stick to the guacamole and fish taco if I ever come back.

Came here for a team dinner and we reserved the back room. Dinner was prix fixe with a few appetizers, four kinds of tacos (fish, beef, chicken, soy chorizo) and churros for dessert. There was also a good selection of drinks, with the option to make any beer a michelada or any wine a sangria for an extra $2. Overall food was okay, drinks were better, but nothing beats having a private room/ space for our group. Service was excellent and they even offered to go boxes for all our leftovers. Great spot for a large group dinner!

My colleague and I grabbed dinner after work during a weekday around 8 p.m. Ambiance There is a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating--a modern, vibrant, and relaxed vibe with the decor and furniture. Service We were seated quickly since we arrived an hour before closing. The staff were attentive and quick. FOOD -Margaritas x2 -Guacamole -Four tacos (Baja fish x2, spicy shrimp, chicken tinga) The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The guacamole was fresh, albeit lacking onions and lime. It was pretty bland. The tacos were disappointing. The Baja fish had no flavor whatsoever. The only thing you could taste was the heavy-handed cumin crema, albeit you could not taste a trace of cumin at all. The spicy shrimp was overcooked and dry. It was not spicy or even a hint of mild spice. The only taco that tasted decent was the chicken tinga. Overall, the food was presented beautifully, although very mediocre and lackluster. This is a solid 3-star place to catch up with a friend over appetizers and drinks. Pass on the tacos.

It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious meal. We stopped in as Happy Hour was beginning. Superb tacos, and the soup was a highlight. For non-alcoholic delight, try the Mia. Spicy and flavorful, hit the spot. Service is attentive and prompt. Lots of Gliten Free available too! Parking was easy on the street. Eat inside or Al fresco near the heaters. A+ in every way.

Went to taco licious for a happy hour. The Happy Hour menu itself was not a great value to me. The only thing that was decent was the pre-fix meal thing. I believe it was 14 bucks for one taco a shot of tequila and a tecate. The tacos came with three different salsas and it was all good. I wish the salsas came with the free chips at the beginning, but such as life. Recommend the spot for happy hour. Otherwise the menu is quite expensive. Will be back for happy hour.

Wow, what a wonderful place you get some amazing salsa and chips to start decent beer on tap and amazing amazing tacos!! It's not cheap, but it's well worth it in the service is awesome

How do I order the al pastor especial online :(? Also can the Papi Hemingway be made to go?

So do to covid we reduced our menu and the especial was one of those items. As far as the papi we are selling batches of our top three margs but if you do a window order it can be possible.

Is the full kitchen open until closing time?

Don't know. Would highly recommend that you call the restaurant directly.

Our absolute favorite? The vegan tacos and yes, we're not vegan. We always pair them with a side of refried beans and chiles toreados, and it hits every time. What makes this place stand out is how incredibly flavorful and satisfying their meat-free options are. Vegan dishes can be hit or miss, but this is a full on hit. The menu overall is solid across the board. You can pretty much close your eyes, point, and end up happy. Brunch is also top tier. The pancakes are excellent, and the traditional Mexican dishes like chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are comforting, flavorful, and consistently well done. Must try cocktail: the Chapulín. When it first comes out, you might think they brought you a green juice, but trust us, this one will surprise you in the best way. It's made with jalapeño-infused tequila and packs a flavorful punch. Fair warning: if you're one of those people who thinks cilantro tastes like soap, this one may not be for you since it's part of the mix. Service is consistently great. I got 2 quesobirria tacos and 2 tacos al pastor, and visually everything looked on point -- the plating was clean, tacos looked well-stuffed, and the birria tortillas had that nice golden crisp. But once we started eating, we all felt the same thing: the salsas were lacking flavor. And with tacos like these, good salsa takes everything to the next level. Here, it kind of held them back. They only gave me two tiny lime pieces, and I couldn't even get enough juice out of them to brighten up the tacos. Something so simple, but it makes a huge difference. We also asked for chips and salsa (they're not free), and they never came. Honest mistake -- they were cool about it and took it off the bill -- but still, it added to the overall experience. Another thing: the nopales weren't well cooked or prepped. They had that slightly tough, raw texture instead of the tender, seasoned bite they should have. Flavor-wise, the pastor and birria were decent, but with weak salsa and barely any lime, it felt incomplete. All four of us agreed on the same thing: This place could be great if they tighten up their salsas and the little details. I'd give them another shot someday because the base is there -- they just need that extra punch of flavor to really elevate their tacos.

The restaurant is beautiful and vibrant. We went in the fall, but I can only imagine how fun and full of energy it must feel in the summer. Food-wise: we tried the carne asada, shrimp, and birria tacos. The shrimp tacos were the standout for both of us. Absolutely amazing! The carne asada was our least favorite; the portion of meat was small, the tortillas were tiny for the fillings, and the burnt/melted cheese inside threw off the flavor. We also shared the guacamole + salsa combo, which I enjoyed, but just a heads-up: it leans on the spicier side.
