    Hot tub

We had a really good experience with this hotel. Check in was easy and the employee working was friendly and helpful. We had a Jeep Wrangler which we were able to park in the garage with no issues. If you are driving a taller car they have a measuring stick at the desk to see if your car will fit in the garage. Because we booked through the Expedia, we had a $15 credit we could use at a few restaurants, including the chilis in the lobby. I'm not sure if this is a permanent promotion, and we didn't have a chance to use it, but I thought that was nice. Our room was nice, basic bed and couch and bathroom set up. But the main reason we chose this hotel was the hot tub, which did not disappoint. I loved the open skylight which brought in cool fresh air. Because of the layout of the hotel, you may have to go outside to get to the hot tub, so if it's cold you may want to plan on changing in the downstairs changing rooms.

Great hotel for a family. No complaints at all. Service was very good, it was clean, and rooms were nice. Hot grotto was relaxing after a day of hiking. Continental breakfast included was enough for our family. If you wanted more of a bigger breakfast you could order that there too. There is a Chilis restaurant in the hotel. They also let you check out bear spray for free. Special guests came to dine there at night!

Game night with the kids. Quiet night in after a swim in the pool.

This hotel seems cool by the pictures and description but the logistics are really inconvenient. Pros: Upstairs/downstairs set up in suites, pool, on-site restaurant (Chilis), modern, customer service Cons: parkade is extremely tight, stairs everywhere (struggle for mobility), super noisy. We could hear every pipe, movement from neighbours etc, one bed was so loud/creaked that when one of us moved -everyone woke up. This hotel is great for couples or friends traveling. Would not recommend for families with little kids. I didn't deduct a star for accessibility because admittedly, we didn't consider it. Our son who is wheelchair bound needed to be carried up and down since there are so many stairs. Again, that's on us but anyone traveling with someone that requires an accessible hotel, this is not the one for you.

I'm giving this hotel 3 stars... because after one night in a piping hot sauna room (And someone coming and duct taping paper over the vent to "help") Our 3 month old woke up every hour crying he was so hot-sleeping in a diaper! We were told they would attempt to fix the problem and would not move us rooms after calling down for the 3rd time between 10pm and 7am. We promptly headed to the front desk where they upgraded us to the suite at no extra charge where the temperature is regulated and "normal". We are very happy-comfy beds-amazing cave hot pool and a nice breakfast. We would stay here again but recommended staying in a suite as the regular rooms are quite small.

Enjoyed our stay at Fox Hotel & Suites. We had a king suite room that was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was great and the room had AC. There is a nice hot pool in the hotel which saved time and money for us vs going to a hot springs to pay. Staff was friendly and parking was free but as a first come first serve. We never had a problem coming back and parking after 9pm. The parking lot elevator can also go straight up to your floor which was handy when we brought our luggage in. Breakfast is complimentary but you have to pay $3 CAD for bacon.

Here's the summarized rundown: Pros: -Free breakfast...pretty decent continental breakfast (fruit, cereal, waffles, toast, pastries) Would have been nice to have some different offerings each day, but hey, free is good :)) -Clean...never saw anything out of place and our room was cleaned very well. -The hot tub and sauna area is really nice and relaxing Cons: -Hard bed...like really hard, no give at all and the sheets were scratchy. They felt like a cheap tablecloth. -Parking...the parking garage is a joke. There's one way in/out which is really dangerous if you have 2 cars going the opposite direction. Also, there's only about 20 parking spaces. We asked the front desk what we're supposed to do about there not being any spaces and the response was "you can park on the street or in the residential area". The problem with that was that there were ZERO of those spots available either. We drove around for an HOUR looking for parking. We gave up and parked in a "restricted" area and just prayed no one ticketed us. -Quite loud outside the rooms...you can hear everyone walking and talking outside of your room which takes away from your relaxing vacation. -Must go outside to get to other parts of hotel...it's not convenient that if you want to go to the pool or restaurant, you have to walk outside (in the freezing cold!) If I come back to Banff (which I'd love to do!) I would probably choose elsewhere to stay. This isn't a horrible hotel, but I've stayed at much better and I know there are better in Banff.

So he drove us into Banff NP. We stopped at Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon, Vermillion Lakes, the cascade falls, and then we began driving to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. What an absolutely beautiful hotel in one of Nature's most breathtaking masterpieces. The beautiful earth-toned cream colored hotel climbs from the lower mountain side and stands beautifully amongst the tall pines surrounding it. We made our way to the Vermillion Bar, where are post worked back in his college days, and were greeted by a super sweet server, Ayala, who lit up whenever she laughed and smiled with you. We enjoyed cocktails, beef, tartare, veggie Credit, charred, avocado, and a unique presentation of hot wings I've never had before - the actual wing that has two bones in it was pre-cut down the middle so you were served the 2 halves as their own individual wing. Great flavors and it was very unique and enjoyable. All of it was delicious and undeniably yummy, and fairly priced for such an elegant location. We were expecting a much higher price point and were delightfully surprised to see that even though it is a luxury location, it was not price gouging or ridiculously inflated that one often finds in so many other locations that are "elegant or nice". If you have the opportunity to treat yourself to a very beautiful sunset under the majestic Mount Rundle, and want to enjoy a modern setting in a historic landmark, this is absolutely a visit you must make while in Banff National Park. Thank you Ayala for treating us so well, and sharing your sweet Australian journey with us. Chris, David, Trisha, and Keith

I was on my way to the Banff Gondola when I stopped here. The hot springs are also located nearby. The original hotel opened in 1888 and has gone through several major renovations and expansions since then. Even if you are not staying here, you have to check this place out. I mostly walked around the outside of the hotel and in the main lobby. Fairmont Banff Springs has two main accommodation areas - the Gatehouse and the historic Main Building. It has a Châteauesque design to it. I love how the hotel stands out within the surrounding Valley. I could even see it from Sulphur Mountain when I rode the gondola to the top. The Banff Springs Hotel has over seven hundred guest rooms and several event spaces. This hotel is worth seeing in person for its size and stunning architecture if you are in the area.

Lots of seating outside and I really enjoyed sitting outside and reading. They also offer board games to play and have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, so many options of where you can be. They have a full bar with a nice selection. Delicious happy hour wine deals! I love their red wines. The food is really good here too. They have a really nice breakfast buffet and it's included with your room. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, yogurt, juices, pastries, and more. The bar serves snacks and other food throughout the day and evening. I really enjoyed their charcuterie board. So fresh and delicious. Our room/suite was very spacious. Two queen beds and a living room area with a sofa and fire place. The beds were pretty comfortable but not amazing. We had a microwave and refrigerator, and I loved the espresso machine. We also had a dining table. The bathroom had lovely shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from a local company. My only suggestion is that I wish we had more storage options to unpack our clothes. There were some hangers to hang a few items and there was 1 drawer in the nightstand. I wish we had a dresser. Excellent and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. I would definitely stay here again.

I like how the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap were from a 1% for the planet brand. There's a shuttle to downtown and back. Shuttle service to/from downtown was a life saver. Hiking and biking amenities seemed good but we did not participate. Removed from downtown which made it a bit more cozy. We really did like this aspect of the hotel . Cons: a bit dated and in need of some upgrades. Our room was small. Juniper did have some juice drinks and protein'ish bars available yet my personal preference is for more options. All in all, a great place to stay, with top notch views and super service. I would certainly recommend you consider Juniper for your upcoming stay.
