I was reviewing a couple of different hot spring options, but this one felt more like a resort and had both indoor and outdoor pools which felt like a more luxurious experience. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was nice and peaceful. I was told the indoor pool did not have chlorine since it was drained daily and the outdoor ones did. I saw other guests bring their own beach towel. The business does provide a towel, but it's somewhat thin and flimsy. They also provide lockers (with a lock) and there are showers if you want to rinse off before/afterwards. My mom and I went on a weekday, but I was informed that on that weekend they had a band play on Saturday and that on Sunday it was EdM night which would definitely be a different vibe. I had to work the day I was leaving (until 4pm because that's when I was meeting my friends to head down to Big Sky), so they were kind enough to give me a later check out and then let me work from the lobby until it was time to leave Bozeman. They even provided me with some bear spray for my hike... apparently they had extra in the back from people leaving it behind, since you can't bring it on flights. The bed is a bit too soft but seems similar to many other hotels in the US.

This location is close to the highway only a few miles from the downtown area. You're away from the crowd but close enough if you need anything. The decor and ambiance is what you would expect, outdoorsy, wooden, chic, with a medium high end vibe. The rooms are nice with a small fridge, coffee bar area, a desk that I have used and needed many mornings and nights. The hotel staff is superb. The gym is better than most. Pool and Jacuzzi is always a nice touch. The free breakfast and coffee is always a good touch. I'll be back when I come back for work and for a vacation with my family.

I also used the gym twice during my stay, and it exceeded my expectations. It was clean, stocked with towels and water, and featured excellent equipment, a brand new peloton bike. There was also a nice indoor pool. The complementary breakfast each morning was fresh, satisfying and a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything . I rented a car, I was a bit disappointed that guests are charged for parking. I do hope the hotel will consider waiving parking fees in the future. After I returned home, I noticed a charge on my bill from the hotel restaurant, a charge i hadn't made. I called the hotel, and they assured me they would look into it. Just two days later, i received a call from Ryan Bates, the assistant general manager, who personally apologized for the inconvenience and promptly issued a refund. Negative: they automatically seem to put a $15 parking charge without asking if you drove. Breakfast was 630-830am on weekdays. Not sure why they don't do it until the standard 9am. Breakfast is your standard fare, nothing special. Location: not downtown, not near the airport but halfway in between both and a fine location if you don't need to be in central Bozeman. Overall, it was a comfy and okay stay. Always good to have more options in Bozeman.
