They told us the laptop was shot and that the charger was fine. We gave them the laptop to dispose of. After being referred to Tumwater Computer Repair by a friend ( thank you Joey at OlympiaResale Warehouse), we went in search of a new laptop. Alex told us it was probably the charger...I had kept it so he checked. We immediately went back to 4th Dimension and retrieved the laptop which we then took to back Alex who proved to be correct. He charged the laptop and helped me order a new charger on Amazon. He saved us hundreds of dollars and didn't charge us. We will NEVER go back to 4th Dimension! Upon entering, I saw him sitting and watching a movie on his computer. He was not aware of my presence until I announced myself. After pausing his movie, he walked over and informed me that he hadn't even looked at my computer and that it would probably take him at least another week to get around to it because and I quote "there is no free space on my work station at the moment." It might just be me, but there is no "free space" anywhere. The place is an absolute mess. Perhaps if he stopped watching movies during the day or hired an assistant, customers would be a little more satisfied with the level of service. Currently, it is unsatisfactory. I took my laptop off his hands, because it was obviously too much responsibility for him to handle. I would recommend avoiding this business if you appreciate good service and would like to see your property returned to you in reasonable amount of time.
