We decided to check out this comedy troupe while visiting Fort Worth in Texas. This improv comedy troupe is very well known for their funny and witty comedy. I recommend buying tickets in advance as their arena gets packed. Checkin starts an hour before the comedians take the stage. They have a bar with some beer, wine and cocktail options. Unfortunately no food here. I recommend having your dinner before coming here. Seats are nice and staff are very friendly. As we walked in we noticed others who checked in before us started writing things on a piece of paper so comedians have some improv ideas to perform. Comedians were very funny throughout the show. The show lasted for a couple of hours. They even brought in a couple of audience members and added them to their show. Overall, all of us had a great time. Absolutely worth it. Ambiance was great. Nice clean restrooms. Parking can be hard to find. There is a parking garage nearby. I think it's free for a couple of hours. read more

What a great time!!! The location was great, the address took the Uber driver to the back of the building but they had great signage telling you where to go! The outdoor courtyard is inviting and perfect to sit at picnic tables and drink before or after the show. The bar is simple with limited options, but definitely nice they had a bar. The small pink moscato wine bottle was $10, just seemed a bit expensive but everything is these days with markup. The show itself was a blast. They include the audience suggestions in such a fun clever way and never miss a beat. Everyone was so friendly and the service was helpful. I had a great time and will definitely be back! read more

These guys are great! Been to their show several times and it is always a blast. They have recently moved from their Sundance Square location to the Vickery & Hemphill area. I haven't had the chance to see them in their new location but I am sure I will be checking them out there soon. If you like improv, these guys will keep you laughing. Their location is at Stage West Theater on Vickery blvd, just south of I30, less than 10 minute drive from old location on Houston street in downtown (see their FB page for details). Parking AND entrance are in the back of stage west building (you can NOT enter from front) This is improv with a LOT of twist! They incorporate short skid, music, images on projector, outfit changes, paper suggestions, & plenty of interaction with audience. Admission is $30 pp. There's a bar on site for water, wine, beer, & cider (see picture for pricing). They are SOLD OUT most weekends, so get there early to get your seat(s) & make sure you are not interrupting the show (it does get annoying, be courteous!). They can pick anyone in the audience, even if you sit in the back! The sound quality from the mics during their songs, made it hard to understand at times, so we missed out on some of the jokes. While no longer in their theater downtown, the guys at Four Day Weekend are as funny as ever! Currently they are playing at Casa Mañana's Reid Cabaret Theatre. This intimate setting brings the audience right into the action. Don't think sitting in a booth on the back wall will get you out of the spotlight! Came here for a baby shower weekend. Had never heard of it but was so intrigued. I love comedy. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and they do assist you to your seat if you have too many to carry. Seating is like stadium seating, not as large of course. Very clean and comfortable. The comedians were just incredible. It is all improv! They get words or sayings and made skits from them. They also involved the audience at times. They are so quick on their feet for sure. And really nothing is off limits!! We had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back or build on in Austin please!! read more

These guys are exceptional. Actually, two of them are exceptional and the rest are moderately funny and together they make an exceptional show. So funny. I can't wait to go back! Seating is first come first serve, but don't worry too much about getting there early. There's no bad seat in the house and they make everyone move to the left to make room on the ends before the show starts so it's unlikely you won't get a seat with your date. Drinks are pretty cheap for an entertainment venue. Wine was terrible but for $6 it's hard to complain. Show is about an hour and a half. I haven't laughed this much in a while. This was definitely worth the experience and we plan to go again. Website said "Who's Line Is It Anyway" meets "SNL". They weren't to far off. Using skits with cues from the audience that were filled out pre show, and twice using audience members to either creat a skit off of their experiences and once using an audience member in the actual skit. Good laughs. Funny watching them, some of them would even laugh and have a hard time performing. Adds to the fun!!! Consider arriving 30 minutes or more early, so you can fill out notes to place on a board that they use in the show. Good times! At $25 per person it really is a great deal. They do serve drinks. Small bar prices, and there is an intermission to take a break about 45 minutes in. We went to the 7:00 show and we were out about 8:40. read more

Had an evening out with friends. Four of us were newbies and two of us had been before. Everyone had a great time. It's not often that you're allowed the time and freedom in life to have full on belting laugh out loud moments. This was one of those times. This is an improv comedy show with lots of suggestions from the audience used throughout, along with some audience participation. It reminds me quite a bit of "whose line is it anyway". The show was packed. The only negative was my wifes seat was broke but there was no other option. Cant wait to go again soon and highly recommend if you want to have some real laughs! read more

The troupe spent too much time picking out suggestions from sticky notes and a bucket of notes. Was not all that funny. Very few times I actually laughed. The troupe was not all that versed in acting spontaneously . Total waste of time and money, A high school talent show level of talent on stage at best! Don't waste your money! read more

Absolutely delightful improvisation comedy club. Loved the audience interaction and the incredibly witty improv routines. Went to the 7pm show on a whim with a friend and will definitely go back. There is a bar that is pretty well stocked. At the intermission it is a bit busy but they work fast and manage to serve everyone in the 10 minutes of intermission. read more

I have always heard about this place, but just haven't had a chance to visit. And I wish I would've gone sooner! This is such a unique experience that everyone will enjoy. There were a lot of people during our showtime so be sure to get there early to get drinks before the show starts so that you aren't a distraction leaving during the show. Ladies bathrooms had 3 stalls so go prior to your showtime. Now to the fun part. The comedy show is based on the audience's energy and input. Before the show starts there are sticky notes you can write on to share suggested nouns, topics, etc. The more input the better options for the comedians to use. The show is very engaging so don't be a dud and not participant when asked. If you go as a group get there early to get seats together or you can reserve ahead. The location is downtown Fort Worth so give yourself time to park and there are lots of food places around to make it a compete date. :) read more

Tip: Het there early so you can sit closer to the stage and also be able to write quotes and sticky notes for the comedians to use in their skits. Arrived with 4 of us to the 9pm show. We were able to sit together but in the very back. I've been to this place 3-4 times now and this was the first time I arrived right before it started (planned to be earlier but dinner was slower than expected). It is still funny and worth going but I felt a little more disconnected from the performance than when I'm closer and have time to write on the sticky notes. I used one of the other tips in here and parked in the 345 W Third St parking garage and that was super close (3 min walk and it was freezing outside and still felt close) and perfect and free...You can also valet but it's $21 plus tip. read more

An entertaining and hilarious evening, perfect for date night! We are new in the FTW area and saw the Four Day Weekend theatre when having dinner downtown last month. We snagged tickets online for a December show and are glad we did. The improv comedians, musician and production crew were impressive -- very quick on their feet and skilled at using stories from audience members for some of their best bits. Getting drinks in the lobby was a tad disorganized but everyone was very friendly and we had a wonderful evening! Highly recommend. Tip: garage parking around the corner (345 W Third St) is free on Saturday evenings. read more

It's a rousing kerfuffle (of codswallop?)--really bright, gifted comedians and pianist. This is improv at its finest--intelligent humor. I've never laughed more at a fully scripted and rehearsed comedy show, for sure. Every show is different, of course, but this group doesn't miss. You might get called on to participate no matter where you sit. Get there early if you have a big group--we got the last set of four seats (together) about 20 minutes before the show. Valet right outside the door. Wonderful choices for restaurants abound within the same or a few blocks. read more

I read every review- EVERY REVIEW- before our show. I walked in Friday night totally psyched, because this was looking to be a pretty hilarious experience. The theater is smallish, I expected more of a comedy club layout, not the case, rather a small theater seating situation that is first come, first serve. So get there early, we arrived 30 minutes early and were stuck in the second row from the top. They have a bar, the bartender is nice, so there's that. I really wanted to like this show. Like, I'm a comedy addict, and everyone said it's hilarious so I was trying to laugh out of sheer will power, but dude, what? DISCLAIMER: I have no doubt what these guys do on a regular basis is very hard, and they seem be super talented guys. Everyone has an off night and you can't please everyone. This is literally just my experience as a comedy nut who paid $20 a ticket to watch the show. First, a lot of this show felt scripted. Like they were really forcing the randomness of the audience interaction to comply with their pre-arranged bit. And what resulted was desperate and unnatural. To the point where I think the only people laughing were the friends of the exact person involved in the skit. Second, the songs were boring. The music and sound effects guys was great, but the actual singing and whatnot that they did? My eyes glazed over, and unfortunately, this was about 40%of their act. It was like watching three guys try and come up with a song using words that rhyme with "orange." Third, if you are under, I don't know, 40? 45? You won't get some of the references they make in this show. Fourth, the constant nagging for us to engage with them in Facebook during the show (even though they said like 50 times to not have our phones out because it was distracting?) was DISTRACTING. if I wanted to play on Facebook, I can do that for NOT $20 at home. Lastly, the intermission was a little unnecessary. While I greatly appreciated the chance to grab more liquor before continuing with this show, I was disappointed to come back to my seat after paying $29 for drinks to only ONE more act and then it's over. Alright, I feel like a dick but yeah, not really the show I was expecting. There were some moments that I thought were pretty funny, and I'm thankful for them. But the layout and comedic timing was just not there for me. Maybe it was us, maybe it was them. read more
