Came for the rodeo. Thought it was bulls that they were riding but it was mostly horses. It was a good show. But it felt repetitive cause there was a lot of riders. I did leave early after other people left too. The people that did leave early did come to the show often and knew when stuff will happen and what they will show. read more

If you like to country dance, this place is fun. There can be an older crowd but they sure know their way around the dance floor. This place is primarily country music and towards the end of the night there usually is some line dancing. There is a cover and you can check your purse/jacket at the front which is nice. read more

While I'm not a regular at a cowboy bar and I'll never be one my experience last evening should serve as a warning to others. The female bartender working the closed end of the bar was the rude and profane woman I've met in an extremely long time. I asked her a simple non-intrusive question. "What is the guest Wi-Fi password?" Her answer I can't post here. But she looked me straight the eye and screamed her filthy answer. A couple of the other attendees lauded her for her answer. They basically applauded her retort. Never again thank goodness. read more

We paid $15 each to get in and it was extremely crowded. The owner had reserved a table for his friends by the dance floor and those so called friends were picking fights with people that were standing too close to their reserved table. Then telling the security guard well I know the owner so kick them out. He said it had been 6 months since his last fight and he was ready to fight someone . I am 50ish and we don't fight. We won't be back. There are so many better places to go on exchange street that is less crowded without the drama of the owners friends. read more

This spot is such a divey, truly local watering hole that I feel out of place writing a Yelp review, which is arguably amongst the most touristy, urban, millennial thing I could do (well, I guess apart from Instagram). We were tourists wandering around the Forth Worth's Stock Yards, checking out the rodeo and looking for a place to hang out and grab a drink. The bars in the immediate vicinity (such as White Elephant Saloon, a historical tourist attraction) were packed, we weren't all too excited another place called Filthy McNasty's (although it didn't look all too filthy or nasty), and a wine bar was quite empty (as expected in this part of town). Based on Google's recommendations, we stumbled upon the Rodeo Exchange. We were able to find a table and it was very lively but not overly crowded on the Friday night. There is a full bar and a handful of draft beer options (looked local to me though I don't know better; I did enjoy the IPA). My pint was $5, which is better than happy hour from what I'm used to. The bartender was very nice as well. Cover was $6 for guys and no charge for ladies. My favorite part of the visit was the live music and the dance floor. We were so impressed by everyone's talent and the unique dance style. There was one particularly memorable older couple who essentially glided across the floor in seamless integration with the music... such relationship goals. The younger dancers tended to be more flamboyant with lots of spins. All in all, a great time just relaxing, people watching, and experiencing the local culture (well, "experiencing" since we were nowhere near knowing how to dance at their level). read more

What this place is great for: Dancing! Nice large floor, lots of pretty girls... and most everyone in here knows how to actually dance! Live bands several nights a week, and a nice liberal pour! The bartenders have been in here since the wood was grown... they will remember you... they will remember what you drink... so behave, and TIP WELL! This is typically a 40 and over bar. The bands are good and has a decent sized dance floor for gettin' the job done. The people aren't as randomly talkative to you as White Elephant Saloon and the smoke isn't as bad here either. We like the place and the pitchers of beer are cheap too. read more

It was very crowded when we arrived at this bar. The music was blaring country music and the dance floor was packed. Everyone was having a good time, there was a wide range of ages in this bar, young barely 21 years olds to cougars dripping in diamond bling. This is another place where the women outnumbered the men. Everyone was decked out in their best western gear and despite the cold weather, there was a short line forming outside. I was happy to find a beer tub girl close to the door so I never had to wait for a new beer. Despite it being so full, I was able to keep an eye on the TV to watch the play off game. read more

I have gone here a few time only to watch my step dad play in his country bad. This place is great for all the country folks and line dancing, It gets very smokey in this place and parking kind of sucks. Then where you walk outside to go home you have to be on the look out for horse poop. Great place for the older people not so much for the younger crowd read more

This is not at all my kind of place. I still felt like I needed to give it three stars though. It's an older crowd, but my wife's older friends who introduced us to the place love it. Also, I am not a fan of country music dance, but if you are this place is fantastic for it. There were a lot of talented dancers out on the floor. Friday nights are special at the Rodeo Exchange in the Stockyards in Ft. Worth, TX. Friday's is Lady's Night with no cover. Happy Hour till 9 with live music. They have pool tables and wide screen televisions set around the bar to watch your favorite sports teams. The dance floor is strategically placed in the middle with seating around it. There is a main bar and a smaller corner bar. Prices are right for your drinking pleasure. read more

This place I had an awful experience......We went on a Saturday and I came into the bar and had one of the bar staff say rude things to me, think they were in the huge bar area. The band that was playing was I think Haywire which they did a wonderful job. Very disappointing to be talk to by the employees. Other than that the place was great. read more
