I visited the Bass Performance Hall in Ft. Worth recently to see a middle of the week, matinee…read moreperformance of Hamilton. It was amazing! Set design, costumes, choreography, singing, music, acting were all top notch. Some of the things you should know before you go. 1) Parking can be a challenge because they don't have their own garage. There are several garages nearby (about a block walking distance), but you will want to arrive really early to make sure you have time to find a space, make your way to the theater, and find your seat before the show starts. We were coming from Richardson, so we knew we would need over an hour to travel there, but because of the parking situation, we left even earlier at 11:30 am for a 1:30pm show time start. 2) The building is quite modern. They have several entrances, but you may be asked to wait on the street in the elements before they open the doors and start scanning tickets. Be prepared to stand in the elements. 3) The seats are quite narrow and the arm rest is shared with your seat mate. If you are an average sized American, you might find the average seats quite uncomfortable. The person next to me was blubbering through her seat into mine. She was also very enthusiastic tapping along with the beat. Both things were unpleasant for me. There are box seats that have independent chairs. If I return to this venue, I will pay for one of these to avoid feeling like a sardine. They have an amazing line up of shows. I wish they were closer because I would definitely be a season ticket holder so that I could enjoy every single one of their amazing shows.

The theatre is beautiful in its own right.... Of course, we saw Hamilton which was excellent, and…read morealthough we were sitting the THE last row, we could see and hear perfectly. The staff there is also very helpful and entertaining! I'd go back in a minute

Show was great and the person who seated was nice and courteous. The night we went there was a…read moresmall crowd so it wasn't super busy. We ordered our drinks on their QR code which also included our table number. 45 min after ordering I asked the first person where our drinks were. She had me repeat my order and said she'd go check. Didn't see her again. Saw people around us get multiple drinks. I asked another person who walked past and she answered I just being out the food. So I asked her who was I suppose to ask since I never had a waiter come talk to us. She said she'd be back. Again nothing. Finally saw a waitress who again asked for my order. She came and went multiple times. I had to get up and go near the back so I can catch her. Asked her again and had to again repeat my order. I finally got my drinks right before the show ended. And of course got charged. Terrible experience due to that alone.

Went to the Nick Cannon comedy weekend event on Saturday 8/1/2026. According to the website/ event…read moredetails the door was suppose to open at 9pm! The event itself was listed to start at 9:30pm. I understand something may happened unexpected however we stood in the line without any updates or notifications for over a hour! In high heels and Texas 90° HEAT! We arrived at 9pm didn't get in until 10:20pm! The event had a full food menu however, only burgers and cold ass fried were available. The waiters were nice and did the best they could however, we will never be back to this place. Allegedly, Nick was looking for the best comedians in the city but seemed more like an open mic night that used Nick Cannons name for promotional reasons. Granted he was there, introduced the show, made a lil joke and promoted his upcoming wild'n out event in November but after a hour he was gone! I saw him on another flyer at StoneWater for the same night so I'm sure that's where he went. It was supposed to be to be a nice date night but it was unorganized and super delayed! No offense to the comedians because some were really great however I would not recommend! They should've gave everyone a refund.
