Dang it! There are only 5 Stars to give. I'd really love to give more, but…read more.. First, let me say I'm not much of a dancer, but my wife signed us up for an introductory lesson. So, I really had no choice. After the lesson I realized that I had a new opportunity to do things with my wife that are fun, exercise, and kind of romantic. When you're looking your spouse eye to eye, that's great! So, we signed up for a full course and it's been great. We've learned how to 2-Step, Rumba, Fox Trot, Swing, and Cha Cha so far. I never thought I'd enjoy it so much. And how cool is it that if we go to some event now where there is dancing, we can look pretty good on the dance floor (not just do the old middle school slow dance back-n-forth). Erin Jane has been an incredible teacher. She has this bubbling personality that even makes my mistakes sound good. She is encouraging and yet willing to give us the eye when we slip up. My wife and I absolutely love her. Honestly, everyone there has been fantastic. I can't wait to learn new steps...We'll be tackling the Waltz pretty soon... I highly recommend Dance With Me at Clearfork! This has been an experience that I will NOT forget. And My wife and I are even closer than we were. Hey, guys...dancing is sexy! I went for my first ever pole dancing class last night, and it was absolutely wonderful! As a…read morenaturally anxious and self-critical woman, I was so nervous to begin, but that nervousness quickly dissipated as soon as I was in the studio. The instructor, Sky, was kind, thorough, and uplifting. The other women in the class were super encouraging, and with a wide range in age and body shape they were all encouraging and made me feel welcomed, proud, and secure, despite my own body insecurities. There are constant cheers to keep you going when you have doubts, and no judgement when you can't do something absolutely perfectly. The studio is clean and beautiful with the perfect mood lighting, decor, and the wide span of mirrors is SO HELPFUL. I will absolutely be back, and I encourage all people interested in pole and looking to explore their femininity to check this place out, whether you're into the sexy parts or just want to go spinny-spin-spin on the pole. I would give this place 10 s if I could!

There are clothes, snacks and socks (you need them), water available to purchase and most importantly TOWELS. The ladies that teach are dancers and they know their stuff. They do come over and correct your postures. They do remember your name. They do the class with you... well mostly. Kristi knows her stuff, and gives the most detailed instructions of all the instructors. Huge focus on form! The workout consists of a warm up, stretching, thigh, seat work, abs, cool down, and more stretching. You will shake, you will work, you will tone up, you will be encouraged. You don't have to be a dancer to attend Smart Barre (hello? Have you seen my dance moves?). I am by no means a dancer (In public!) and never felt intimidated or embarrassed. Except the days I'm so tired I can't remember left from right... yes, it's happened. I have been to several studios in the area. If the word BARRE is in the name, I've been there sweating my A$$ off. Smart Barre has THE most pleasant staff. They show you the moves and actually do them with you, not just walk around the room talking. It's ALL barre all the time, not a studio with a few classes a day. This is a legit workout. There are days I think Sara is trying to kill me. Sally will whip you into shape. There were people of all ages and fitness levels attending the class, so no one really looked out of place. The class was also structured very well and it was nice to have all of the equipment needed for the class already at each mat (as opposed to having to go grab everything yourself). However, what keeps this from five stars is the lack of friendliness from the workers and how dull or bland the place seemed. Although I was greeted when I came in, when I requested help in other areas, the workers didn't seem as open to help. There were also some equipment that were out of order, making me wait. However, I know EōS is really quick on getting their equipment fixed.
