Most of these girls have never hit anything, so for them fight to protect themselves was very empowering. I learned many moves that my own self defense class didn't teach me. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting a refresher and all parents wanting to give their kids some knowledge on what to do if they are attacked. Key School supported that same teacher's emphatic declaration that America is not in any part a democracy while studying the Constitution. They supported him, teaching the children that only violent criminals were being deported while innocent immigrants are being disappeared into Venezuelan concentration camps. That is not just a biased opinion- he is teaching outright untruths. His beliefs are not academic and far from neutral. In fact, they align with Trump's cult beliefs rather than the true Republican party ethos. To sum it up, if you are affluent and looking for an overpriced, Fox News-based, fascist propaganda education with some racism and sexism thrown in now and again, as many Texans likely are, this is your place. Here's the real kicker...they're 45 minute lessons, not hour long. So, $90 for 45 minutes is $2 per minute. If you extrapolate this to the standard 1 hour lesson (I mean come on, you only offer 45 minute lessons?), then it's $2/minute x 60 minutes or $120 an hour!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? $120 per hour? You can get a professional engineer designing a spaceship to Mars for that rate. Ridiculous. Work a standard year at those rates and you're pulling in $240k. Yikes. I wouldn't be surprised if the monthly rate and 45 minute sessions are all part of the marketing to hide the fact they charge over $100 per hour.
