This is one of the healthier options in Redlands for a satiating, quick meal. There are plenty of vegetarian options along with a variety of meats (vegans would have to request some minor adjustments though). The "vegetarian" is massive, loaded with colorful fresh veggies. The space is clean and comfortable and the prices aren't bad for the portions and quality. I'll be happy to return here for a nourishing lunch or early dinner. read more

Support these guys! Their food is amazing, service with a smile, and all of the ingredients are clean and delicious. I have ordered from here plenty times, and today was the best! I had their three cheese grilled cheese sandwich and added ham and the roasted red pepper soup. DELICIOUS. I usually LOVE this place! I recommend it to everyone. Normally it is 5 stars, but today was a different experience. I only want to mention this so others don't have to go through this. My usual order of a Tuna Melt on squaw, with added veggies after the bake, took 45 minutes with revisions. The first sandwich I got had 3 layers of rye bread. The guy who made it told me "the sandwich is actually perfect, it's just missing the squaw bread". I had to ask for them to only use 2 pieces of squaw, but I have never had to specify that before. With that sandwich & my re-made sandwich, they would individually toast each piece of bread with cheese & parchment paper, & would leave it in the panini press for 10-15 minutes at a time, which ended up burning the cheese on the bread (see attached picture). I finally had spent way too much time waiting as order #67, & orders 69-51 had received their orders & left while I was still waiting. During the confusion of correcting my order, they had not even started on the 3 sandwiches for order #68. At that point I did not want to take more time correcting my sandwich & delaying the lady who was waiting just as long as me. This was a very poor experience. I hope the management can help the staff improve on their organization, efficiency, & communication. read more

Unfriendly staff other than one last that helped me in the prep table area. I was there for awhile without any recognition from staff. I finally had to ask about the to-go order I was picking up and they blankly stared at me. Finally, they directed me to correct area but it still was not ready. This used to be our favorite "go to" place for delicious salads, sandwiches, smoothies. However, now we will not return. First of all, the staff did not have masks! What? They are making our food and not masked? This is not okay. Next, the staff seem depressed, not friendly and helpful like the prior staff were. And, finally it cost approximately $30.00 for one Caprese sandwich, a small Roasted Beet salad and a small All the Greens drink? It seems a little excessive. Best late lunch/early dinner I have had in ages. Have you ever been really really hungry because you are afraid to eat one more lousy meal? There has been no fast foods or casual sit down I've eaten at in the last 90 days that didn't make cruddy food, tasteless food, greazzzy food or food that made me sick? UNTIL TODAY!!!! I had the BEST Cuban 1/2 Sandwich with a 1/2 summer salad with a pineapple lemonade with added water. IT WAS PERFECTION. It was soooo FRESH, the bread, fresh, the meat pork roast tender and flavorful, the way they added mustard, pickles and a slice of ham adding a burst of flavors that compliment each other. The portion was generous as was the 1/2 salad. Ahhhh their summer salad, one of my all time favorites! Now the pineapple lemonade was a treat they offered as they were changing out the flavor and had a few glasses left. I normally only drink water but this treat (I added water) was fantastic. My favorite lunch spot in the IE. The food is always incredibly fresh and tasty. While the prices seem a bit steep, the portion sizes definitely make up for it! I've had this place bookmarked for a few years now and I'd always forget about it. Today I met my son for lunch and he wanted sandwiches. So I turned to yelp and this place popped up so we decided to give them a try. Walking in the place is clean and open with simple but appealing decor. We walked up to the counter/ cashier and told her we needed a minute to look at the menu board on the wall since it was our first visit. My son decided on a turkey and avocado on squaw bread with dirty chips and a ice tea. I couldn't decided so I went with the pick two lunch combo. I picked the half turkey and cranberry sandwich on squaw bread with a half size greek salad and a strawberry lemonade. The young girl helping us was new and she was having trouble with putting our order in the register. The other employees seemed bothered she was asking them questions, not cool! I told her it was ok and to take her time but she was so nervous. Our order was just under $40 kinda steep for two cold sandwich lunches but hopefully worth it. We looked around while we waited and the girl that took our order came out three different times to ask our order because she couldn't remember squaw bread and onions. Still just figured she's nervous. After a short wait our food was packed and ready. My order was wrong she still forgot the squaw bread but thats fine I'm not going back in at this point. The sandwiches were good everything was fresh and delicious. The salad was just ok nothing special and the dressing was watery, so not worth adding to my salad. Food was good but not worth the price. Great new addition to Redlands! It is definitely my new favorite place to eat. They have many different soups, paninis, sandwiches, salads, and freshly squeezed juices. Everything is fresh and made on the spot when you order. If you're busy and don't have time to wait, they also have pre-made salads, sandwiches, and juices for a quick grab. We ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and The Club with pasta salad. The portions were fairly large, especially the salad. It was really fresh and the veggies were so crunchy. It wasn't soaked with salad dressing, which I really liked! Also, there was chicken in pretty much every bite. The sandwich was delicious too. I loved the toasted bread and bacon bits inside the sandwich. It's $1 more to add Cole slaw, pasta salad, or chips. And the pasta salad was definitely worth it! It was so delicious and fresh. The tomatoes and bell peppers were still crunchy. Overall, I am 100% satisfied! There are lots of tables inside and outside. They also have trail mixes and "food prep" items that you can pick up - kind of like a little grocery store. Cannot wait to be back to try the other items. read more

One of the best in town! The have the freshest sandwiches, and amazing soups and salads. They're also part of The Prep Table so you have the option to get amazing fruit, veggies and preplanned meals. My favorites are the Sicilian sandwich and the Tuna salad. Their salads are monstrous and can feed two, and you can have the option of getting a half a sandwich and salad or soup. I honestly don't think you can wrong with any of their options. My wife's a vegan and they have options for her with sandwiches and soups. Also a decent healthy kids menu. I seriously crave soups and their delicious lemonades. You can see me here several times a week, and I believe I eat here so much I should be on payroll lol. You have to try it! We tried this out of the way gem and we're not disappointed. They have quality ingredients assembled their own way. In fact they do everything "their" way. They are only open days and weekdays, which I find ideal for an owner that doesn't want to go crazy. My hubby had the club which wasn't a club because it wasn't triple decker. But he liked it better cause the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I had the roast beef which was adventurous. Big! Excellent roast beef plus something others are afraid of...sprouts!!! Just had a late lunch here and I loved it! I ordered the vegetarian with no mayo or cheese, and the sandwich was HUGE and came with a bag of Lays chips. Everything was so fresh! Solid spot for a sandwich. I've been here about four times now and so far and it's been pretty enjoyable. They have good sandwiches, but I don't think it's anything extraordinary or close to the best. I still see myself coming here once in a while for a quick lunch, but that's about it. Food: The most recent sandwich I had was the turkey cranberry. It was alright. The ingredients were definitely fresh! They don't skimp out on the meat and the ciabatta bread was a nice twist from your regular rye/sourdough/etc. To be completely honest, as fresh and filling as the sandwich was, it was pretty bland. Maybe the spouts were a bit overpowering, but I couldn't really taste anything else besides the cranberry sauce. Overall, it was okay. In the past I've had their turkey avocado and one of their paninis (forget which one), but I would definitely get those again over the turkey cranberry. Keep in mind that they also have salads, wraps, and juices which seem to be really popular! Price: All the sandwiches are about $9-10 which I think is really fair for how big their portions are. Service: The staff are friendly and helpful! Atmosphere: I love how open the space is to eat. There seems to be areas all over the building to sit down and enjoy your meal. I'd say this is even a pretty good study spot! There's also outdoor seating and a large table or two for bigger groups. It's well lit inside which a very clean, modern vibe. The restaurant is also a store which a lot of organic, local foods. Overall: If I could give Deli on the Corner a 3.5, I would, but based mostly on my food experience here, it's average. Unless it's for a quick meal, I would recommend a 10 minute drive to Bleu Pitt Cafe. read more

It was slightly disappointing for a weekday. Consider posting that on the electronic menu, I wasn't informed until I waited in line for 10 minutes. 2. Consider more vegetarian options (besides salads and two sandwhiches) like veggie meat or tofu. there is a big veggie community nearby that would devour this place! 3. Maybe consider cutting down on disposables, for those dining in reusable cups plates instead of a basket make a place feel homey and more upscale. read more

Being an OC/LA/SD girl who drives out to Loma Linda for work, I am so happy to have finally found a DELICIOUS place to eat lunch. Because let's be honest, this area is the type of place to rate their local Pokebar a 4 1/2+ stars even though the fish is chewy and not fresh. There is just not a high standard for food around here. Deli on the Corner is my saving grace! Their portions are BIG and their ingredients are FRESH! I thoroughly enjoy every meal I have here and am more than satisfied, often having to save the rest of my sandwich for later. I've had their Roast Beef sandwich and also their Sirloin and Mushroom sandwich. Both are sooo good and filling. Again, I can't get over the freshness of all their ingredients and veggies.
