This was my second time at Foundry and I love the local vibes to this spot! I came to co-work with some colleagues and it's a great spot for it and to network or meet up. Patio is nice and spacious as well. Service was friendly and patient because it took me some time to figure out what I wanted. I ordered the iced Pistachi-O Baby latte which had a great balance of pistachio and vanilla and I also ordered the all day breakfast sandwich, which was good but I felt like it was missing something. I'll definitely be back again!

I can't believe it's been 11 years since my last review of Foundry Provisions. In (belated) celebration of women's history month and Kimi being the wonderful owner that she is, I figure it's time for an update. This spot is a neighborhood treasure. You'll frequently find folks who walk in from the neighborhood or students from the neighboring schools popping in here all hours of the day. You can find everything from seasonal Matcha lattes to savory sandwiches and donuts. They do a great job at supporting other local businesses in the ingredients thy feature on the menu. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating including high top countertops if you want to work for a few hours. I love grabbing a coffee here and hitting the sidewalk for walk and talk meetings given the charming surroundings. It's been a joy to watch 16th St. evolve over the last few years and I can't wait to see how it continues with anchor businesses like Foundry Provisions in the mix.

I used to come in here a lot more when I worked nearby. It was great to get back! I miss the booths and the coziness they provided but I understand there was a need for more seating. One of my favorite things about this coffee shop is that there is so much natural light that pours in through the windows. If you need a dopamine boost, this space will give it to you! They had a matcha specialty drink for St. Patrick's day. It was tasty and came with two marshmallow lucky charms. They have food options as well I believe like breakfast sandwiches and more. They also shave a super cute patio space for when the weather is nice. The baristas are friendly and helpful and will take time answering questions if needed. There is also a decent amount t of free street parking around the shop!

What a fun spot! We stopped in for coffee and a treat. My husband enjoyed his cold brew, and I enjoyed the birthday cake latte. The real star was the coffee cake muffin. It was so good. We ordered ahead online and it was quick and ready when we got there! We will be back!

this place is truly a gem and one of my go-to study spots. their menu is extensive, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to camp out for the day to get work done. their prices are also extremely fair in comparison to other coffee shops in indy and i love that they open early. i typically run cold but it's always fairly warm in here because there's so much natural sunlight coming in (which i love!) i tried their lunch special grilled cheese and tomato soup which was fantastic. i do wish they toasted the bread a little more to give it more of a crunch, but i loved the tanginess of the tomato soup with the cracked black pepper. i've also had their americanos and lattes, and both hit the mark on the head. the espresso never tastes burnt and the drinks are never too sweet. i personally love their toasted marshmallow syrup. (heads up, there is a high school (?) nearby so it can get a little more rowdy after 3pm since the students tend to hang in here after school)

It's morning, haven't had any coffee yet, and was by this place so I decided to check it out. I really didn't know what kind of drink I was in the mood for, so I asked the worker for suggestions. He gave me some good ones...the dirty chai with toasted marshmallow sounded tasty (fall drink) but then he showed me the February menu, and why not since it's February. I went with the Cupid's crush with oat milk which was white chocolate raspberry mocha and it sure hit the spot. It reminded me of the graters black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream which I love! I got a small and it was about little over $8, so pricing is a little higher for this cup of Joe. The inside isn't very big, but looks like a popular spot to be productive as they offer free WiFi. They have table, booth, and bar top seating options. I also noticed outlets, so convenient to charge up devices. They don't have a parking lot though as this is downtown-ish, but I found free parking on Alabama side street in front of houses, not too bad of a walk. During warm weathers, they have outside seating available. They are bike friendly with bike racks. I wasn't hungry at this visit, but they do have food items and ice cream for sale.

Food was mediocre esp for the price. We tried the breakfast sandwich and grilled cheese with tomato soup. I would save your money on the food and just get drinks next time.

This is one of the best little neighborhood coffee spots. They have tables, a barstool level countertop and a sun-filled patio. Great for working, studying, or meetings. I've lingered here for morning, afternoons and sometimes full days, buying a breakfast sandwich and staying for a lunch panini! They have drip and specialty coffees and ice cream! In the summer, the strawberry shortcake with ice cream is not to be missed. Last time I was in, I had a delicious breakfast sandwich with a fluffy brioche type bun, deliciously melty cheese, and a lot of bacon... yum!

This is a solid place to grab coffee. I've been a few times when I'm just north of downtown. It's super easy to park in this area, as there is a parking lot and street parking nearby. This coffee shop is always pretty busy, and seating can be limited unless you arrive early. We arrived Sunday morning, and I ordered the all day breakfast sandwich and the honey bee latte. We sat outside on their patio, and they also have live music. I loved my latte, it was not overly sweet and well balanced. Their breakfast sandwich is okay, I like how they use crumbled bacon but overall the sandwich is dry and I wish it had some kind of sauce or another element to add some flavor.

Bagel with cream cheese

Great neighborhood coffee house in the Old Northside neighborhood. I got a bagel and cream cheese and iced coffee. Both were great. They have a lot of food options on the menu. More than most coffee shops. Donuts, bagels, pastries, ice cream, and sandwiches. The service is great and the staff there were friendly. It's nice and cozy inside and they have a small patio outside.

However, you'd be remiss if you didn't make a stop in at some point. They primarily have table service but also a small bar "inside" - when the weather is nice, they open up the garage doors to make the entire establishment be outdoors. The staff that we encountered were all very friendly. Food is fantastic here, we ordered from the Devour menu back in August and got the burger and pulled pork sandwich with fries. They bring your food out on a giant sheet of butcher paper, so you're more than welcome to make a mess at the table! Everything was scrumptious, and the fries home as leftovers are as delicious as when you get them fresh. Perhaps that's why they're called the Best Fries in the World! I'm sure if a good sports game is on TV, you'll find me here soon enough!

I went with a Malibu and ginger ale, and it was served in this cute glass, I loved it! We were all so hungry, so we started out with a large order of fries, and they are a standout. They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated since my family arrived hungry. This is a solid spot for burgers, wings, and fries.

This time my wife got the lechon & I cannot remember the name of mine (it was a sandwich with steak, onions & fries on it It's new & our server said it was her first favorite & my wife's was her second.) Both of these were outstanding!! I don't like soggy fries, but these didn't get too soggy, but did have a lot of flavor. We are seriously get back here sooner rather than later. I…read morevisited it with my friend Luis, who is Peruvian, on the second day of our trip to Indianapolis for a hardcore festival. Weary after a full morning of sets and performances, we sought respite and a proper lunch meal, and found both here. The restaurant is unassuming, housed in a humble tin hut. To me this was a green flag, as the finest restaurants I visited across Latin America looked precisely like this. We eagerly pored over a menu with many tempting options. Guided by Luis's expertise, we ordered the tilapia ceviche to share, the chicharrón sandwich for him (the viral sandwich apparently), and the lomo saltado for me. Everything was cooked to order, so the food took twenty-five to thirty minutes to arrive - it was entirely worth the wait. The ceviche was impeccably fresh, with tender yet crisp calamari and a generous portion. The bright tang of lime, the plump Peruvian choclo kernels, the toasted cancha, and the sweet camote made it irresistible to stop eating. My only wish was for some plantain chips or slices on the side. The sandwiches then arrived, and they were phenomenal. I was captivated by my lomo saltado, its beef tenderloin strips tender and seasoned to perfection, bathed in a juicy, savoury sauce that was perfect to be mopped with bread. The standout was the extraordinary wok hei. Luis explained that Peruvian chefs have long cooked in woks, as Chinese and Hakka influences, dating to the 1800s, gave rise to the beloved chifa tradition. One can really taste that history in every bite. My only reservation is that the dish was a bit too salty toward the end, so I would suggest ordering the bread on the side so it won't soak up too much of the juice all at once. Overall, it was a wonderful and deeply satisfying meal. The bill came to roughly $65 USD, which is not cheap, but the quality and freshness more than justified it. We shall return the next time we find ourselves in Indianapolis.

The croissant cinnamon roll was buttery, flaky, and perfectly glazed, while the Danish had a rich, creamy filling without being overly sweet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything in the pastry case looked as good as it tasted. I have an allergy and they were able to easily answer questions. I come mostly for the breads and the cinnamon rolls made from croissant dough. I do have to say I preferred the 'old' way these were made which was with a lot less icing. Don't get me wrong, I will still continue to devour my fair share of these delicious works of art. And you cannot go wrong with the bread around here. I tend to freeze quite a bit of it since I don't live near an Amelia's. I have to say it does freeze well, especially if you toast it a little after thawing it.
