Valet acknowledged me quickly and warmly as I pulled into the entrance circa 1:50pm. I was notified about the $25/night valet charge (I had researched beforehand) from the valet atrendant. The valet atrendant was extremely friendly and welcoming. When I appraoched the reservation desk I was greeted by last name as valet had alerted them to my arrival. I was able to.check in over an hour in advance. The room was squeaky clean and I have a great view of the pool from the 4th floor. The gym happens to be adjacent to the pool and featured some dumb bells, exercise balls, and cardio equipment as follows -1 treadmill -1 exercise bike -1 elliptical I would definitely recommend this hotel! read more

Love this hotel. It's like staying in a very cool art gallery. The art was very good, the room was really great. Not your typical boring hotel room. Very industrial decor. The bed was big and comfortable. We liked all of the artistic touches everywhere. We went there for a staycation for the night and it was great. The pool was small and the pool deck was extremely slippery (lawsuit waiting to happen). The restaurant, "Match" was very industrial as well. The food was pricey and disappointing. The service was very slow. We sould consider coming here in the future but we would not eat in the restaurant. Also, the parking was an extra $25. read more

I called in and spoke with Yammi in the Accounting Dept and she was the most incompetent person there. She said she'll look into it and call back and never did. Had to open a credit card dispute. NOT kid friendly-naked pics in hallway. Pool was VERY limited because of all the functions; the restaurant runs the pool with these functions. it seemed like the hotel and restaurant are not together on times of pool hours and they do not share the times the pool is open anywhere. King beds-says room for 3 people. they will give you a blow up bed. not really enough room for this bed. Pool side of the hotel after 6PM becomes super smoky from the woodfire grill. so if your room is that area your room will smell all night. $25 daily charge for valet. with the functions sometimes you cant even get into your own hotel. we had to drive around the block a few times coming back to the hotel late just to get the valet to park our vehicles. Valets did not know of sports location (Chase field) this is only a few blocks away from the hotel. however they were all very nice. Cleaning ladies were on AWESOME. however it would be nice to have the option of not having clean towels everyday (to help the environment). Coffee in room is limited but the maid service will bring you more if you would like. would be better if they get a coffee bar at the entrance. Restaurant is very good. only thing is that they have a dog menu but not kids menu. The restaurants close by are all good. only things is walking at night there are homeless people in the area and skateboarders. Rooms are super neat and the bathroom is to die for!! Great value. The primary reason I chose this hotel was their pet friendliness. No extra charge for a pet, while other area chains wanted $75-$100 per night extra. Not only that, but the staff knew my cats name and asked how he was and said hi whenever we came in or went out. And yes, I know cats on leashes are... different. You can see him at @hermanlives on IG. Yes. The parking was $25.00/night, but it still ended up being a great value. The bed linens and pillows were excellent. The amenities were good. The design is great. While most people aren't, I'm a bath person. I have a bad back and like a good soak at the end of a long travel day. I took off one star for that. I expect no tub in NYC and Paris for all but the most expensive rooms, but Phoenix... I figured it would be different. Anyway, Found Re is both chic and cheap as chips. I recommend it. read more

I cannot begin to share all the weakness of this hotel! From the first day I stayed there and was up ALL night due to loud music repeatedly booming outside my room! Front desk said it wouldn't happen the next evening and, thankfully, it did not occur, again. Bed has lumpy mattress and cheap lumpy pillows. Room service is unprofessional and food poor (ordered deviled eggs and white of egg was half frozen! After that ate at the FEZ across the street (great food)! Only parking available: Valet $25.00/day!! Cannot imagine where a hotel guest would park if not using the valet! I had a flood problem in my home due to the rain storm we had just had and my insurance covered a hotel. I have always used another very nice midtown hotel for out of town guests, but when I saw the Found:re and saw it was next to the Portland green space I tried it. From the preponderance of dead plants in front I should have turned around and gone to the other hotel! If there is an upside to the Found:re it is the pet friendly room and the adjacency to Portland green space. Also, fun contemporary art on walls. Would I stay there, again? NO! The only upside to Found:re is that it is pet friendly and my dog enjoyed the adjacent green space to wander on Portland. read more

New hotel on Central Avenue in Phoenix. It is just blocks from the Roosevelt Row. Roosevelt Row is a hip area of Phoenix that has coffee shops, bars, galleries, etc. An up and coming area for sure. In fact, the hotel serves as an art gallery with works from local artists on display. The vibe is very cool. The lobby is chill. The pool is on the smaller side but I like it. There is a bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Pet friendly hotel with dog park three blocks away. No extra charge for Fido. The staff are great. Friendly and Accomodating. Late check out was not a problem and no additional fee. Rooms were cleaned well. The rooms are quite unique with modern decor. Concrete floors with rugs. Very open bathroom without shower curtain. Good amount of space in the standard King room. i love the fact that the floors are concrete. This does however make the hotel a little noisier than most. I could clearly hear people with heels walking above me. The walls seem a little thin and I did hear my neighbors arguing. Wifi is fast and FREE. Parking is valet only and costs 25 per night. Overall, love this hotel. Hip hotel in a trendy area of Phoenix. Only negative is that the rooms are little noisier than usual which is probably due to the concrete floors. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, awesome spot. read more

This hotel was really trendy and cool. The ground floor is the lobby and an art gallery from local artists! The rooms were designed very uniquely and so comfortable. Do not stay here. "Erica" the front desk is a complete moron who desperately needs to be retrained in customer service as well as basic communication skills you should have learned as a child. If you call down from your room she will hang up on you and then when confronted will say "I was busy". The staff also tells you to go ahead and park in handicap spaces. I'm not sure this place has a manager. I did receive an automated email telling me I had been refunded because they "charged the wrong room". Wonder how easily and often this occurs. Unique and gorgeous hotel! Everything was perfect. High tech environment, so you can order anything you need in your room off an iPad. We stayed in the 1BR suite on 8th floor. What a view and the room was incredible. Very modern/industrial with custom art (in our room and all around the hotel). We at at MATCH. We had a great experience there. I had the meatballs/gnocchi and husband had a steak (one of the best he has had, coming from his mouth). I love all the custom touches to make our experience enjoyable. I happened to mention I was pregnant when checking in at the front desk. When we entered the room later, we found a tray of desserts with a hand-written message welcoming us on our "babymoon." Days in advance, we made a reservation for our wedding night, booking a king bed. When we checked into the hotel and went up to the room, we were given two full beds instead of the king. The front desk clerk was indifferent to us (basically shrugged her shoulders) and said they were completely booked for the night and couldn't do anything about it. Apparently it's acceptable to give away reservations here?? We were exhausted and it was too late in the night to find another hotel. The only reason this review has 2 stars instead of 1, is that the hotel decor and feel is nifty and exactly what we were looking for. Had we not been screwed on the room situation and had gotten the room we booked, we would have loved it. Also, on a less important note, the bell hop in the morning was horribly rude. read more

I recently rented the Balcony King Suite at the FOUND:RE for my wife's birthday and I'm extremely impressed. The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing and fun with unique details and beautiful art throughout the space. The suite was fantastic, every detail was meticulously planned and made for a truly amazing experience in a fantastically unique and industrial inspired space. The one thing that was the biggest surprise for me had to be the view, it's not given enough emphasis on the hotel site where you can view the beautiful room. The view straight down isn't that impressive as it's peppered with parking lots and a back alley, but shift your gaze to the horizon and you'll see mountains in every direction squeezing the city in toward you. You'll see beautiful Phoenix neighborhoods and distant sky scrapers lighting up the night once the suns gone down. I also found the staff to be kind and attentive but not overbearing. The price for this suite was phenomenal and if you're looking for a great experience in a downtown Phoenix hotel, look no further than FOUND:RE. read more

We used a small conference space because I am involved with Phoenix Center for the Arts for our annual retreat. We could not have been more pleased with the attentive service and the lunch service. There was someone dedicated to making sure our every need was met. If you need a space for a small board gathering, I highly recommend it. I travel a lot for work, and have stayed in some hits and misses. When I told my co-workers where I was staying they laughed because they'd never heard of the Found Re. I definitely scored on this one. This is best hotel I've stayed at in awhile. Loved the layout of the room. The bathroom setup is so cool with the peekaboo sink and the bed was super comfy. We were attending a concert at commerica theatre down the street and found this hotel by accident It brand new, trendy, super modern, and has everything you should want in a hotel. The appearance of this hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's so very modern which I appreciate very much. The staff was very kind to let me know about the amenities available to hotel guests. It wasn't hard to find my room. My room was in the 500s and the buttons in elevator ranged from 1-7 (I think) but I figured; 500 = Level 5. I booked a King bed room with my partner and he was already in the room as I arrived in the hotel. Once I entered the room, everything looked clean and tidy. The one thing that caught my attention was the centered bed. All the decorations and lightening were interesting as well. I think my partner enjoyed the fixture of the lights and furniture more than our stay. We loved the pillows. The feather pillows were amazing and the bed itself was super comfortable. Overall we had a great time at Found:re and we'll definitely book again! read more

This place is the coolest! The rooms are gorgeously decorated and super spacious. The design of the rooms is so cool and I love that this place is pet friendly. If you do bring your pet, there's a lovely green space right next door for them. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. The best part of all is all the artwork! Besides all the beautiful art on the ground floor, there was a lovely origami crane installation on our floor and each room's number plaque is a piece of really pretty collage art. The art in the rooms is great too, I especially loved the interactive ones. Additionally, the location is excellent. It's right across the street from a light rail station, and the surrounding neighborhood has lots of cute shops and restaurants. It's nearby the Japanese Friendship Garden, and short metro rides to great museums and sports stadiums. I highly recommend this place! read more

We also got a vip table that didn't seat us until 10 when it was supposed to be ready at 9. We didn't get our drinks for that until 11! The neighbors were very loud. We could hear laughing, nose blowing and heavy doors opening and closing. This is the worst excuse for a "higher classed" hotel. After having a horrendous travel day, I had to book this last minute. I wanted a nice hotel to relax and bring in the New Year. I should have went with Kimpton at least the price would've been justified. It is NYE and I arrive. I was notified that it is 25$ to valet my car...I paid 254$ for the night this is outrageous but I'm exhausted so whatever. I get to the front desk, check in was handled promptly and uneventfully. No greeting, welcome, nothing. So far nothing makes me want to recommend this place. The lobby is cute and apparently they hold a Masquerade party for NYE. No one offered to take up my bags and once at the door, only one of my key cards worked. The room is spacious, well furnished and stocked with Bigelow bath products. Bed is super comfy and pillows are nice. That I like.l and is worth 2 stars. I call for room service and am told that because of their Masquerade party, I cannot order room service. She doesn't even offer any solutions, that's it. That's ridiculous. They should list that on the site that they are only catering to that event. Because I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED HERE. The black out shades don't go all the way to the edge, making them pointless. There is no radio/clock or hook up to play music. No free water. The TV is not a smart TV so you will not be able to use apps or connect your music there either. When I showered, water came up out of the sink and remained. Ew. Archaic technology, super basic staff that don't provide solutions, extremely overpriced for what it is. Go somewhere else. read more

We stayed here TWICE within one month as a staycation - need I say more?! We absolutely love the charm of this hotel and also the staff. Rena went out of her way to make our stay so amazing - we just got back today from staying there to see our nephew get sworn into the Marine Corps. I don't know what else to say except that Rena made the experience even more incredible! Andrew at the front desk and also Jennifer in the restaurant this morning have personality plus as does all the staff every time we stay here! This is an awesome hotel. I've been to many places and really enjoyed being here. I had a family crisis and needed to be here for a week, and staying here made me feel better. It is boutique hotel, so it's on the trendy side. That being said, there were a lot of people my age, and I'm pushing 50, who either stayed at the hotel or were patrons of the Market. There were also many hip 20-something's. Being in the pandemic and with high inflation it is clear this business needs love. There are things that need replacing and they most likely need more staff. Yeah, they could use some new linens, but it's not a big issue. As for the shower issues others had, I don't get it. The large rainfall showers have low pressure, but there's a handheld to do the real scrubbing. The room I stayed in was a King with a balcony, which is totally worth the extra price. Extra space and seating. Fridge to keep things cool. I had to bring my dog with me, and this place is great for that-- it's steel, concrete and washable linens. In addition, there are two nearby parks which welcome dogs. One park is right out the door. If you hav a car and plan on coming over the weekend, I suggest paying the fee to park as the area is busy. This is a cool, affordable hotel in a trendy/busy area with many places to see such as multiple art museums, places like Churchill, and in my case, close to the hospital. read more

The bellmen were friendly and fast. i really liked the layout of the room. The bed was in the middle of the room utilizing the space nicely. The bed was very comfortable. The tv was mounted from the ceiling and easy to see. There was a mini fridge. I loved the large open shower and double sided sink. I for sure would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel read more
