I had Griffin Masonry remove 2 old driveways and put 2 new cement driveways in. They were on time, the work is of EXCELLENT quality with meticulous care taken in details. David even called an Arborist he knows to come and look at my tree because he was concerned that work around the roots would severely damage the tree so we moved the side driveway over a few feet to keep a big support root healthy. Many workers would not care if they damaged a tree. Price was reasonable, work was far above average. Makes my house look almost new! A big thanks to David and his workers. Would definitely call him again and recommend to others.

"I didn't work for me." "It's probably your outlet." "Oh, okay. I didn't think to try a different outlet. Thanks. I would like it cleaned, new filters, etc." "That'll be $49.99." "Okay. Will you call when it's ready?" "Yes." I verified the number they had was correct and waited and waited and waited. Called in July. "He's not here now, but he's really backed up." Waited some more. Called today (August 23, 2024). "He's on vacation. But I see your machine is on his workbench. It appears to be done. It says he replaced the filter. You can pick it up. It'll be $24.99." Multiple complaints and some general whining about the long wait, zero calls to update me. No apology. It's back home and appears to be running and the filter does look new. Other than that, I can't say. I just hope it doesn't need servicing again, because as far as I can tell, this is the ONLY place in the area that repairs vacuum cleaners. Maybe that's how they get away with such horrible customer service.

My driveway was a mess before. It was in bad shape when we bought our house 15 years ago, and had…read moreonly deteriorated due to a total lack of maintenance. It was wavy and uneven and downright dangerous; I almost twisted my ankle out there a couple of times! We booked Pete in the winter to resurface our driveway in the summer. Unfortunately, there was such frequent rain over the summer that Pete's schedule got pushed back 4-5 months, and it was fall before we got our new driveway. It sure was worth the wait, though! Pete's crew cleaned and resurfaced my driveway, and it looks and feels amazing! The surface is flat, the lines are clean, and the edges are nicely rounded. The area where it comes up against our stone walkway is perfectly done, with no tripping hazards to be found. Walking and driving on the new driveway is a pleasure! We were even able to set up a basketball hoop out there now that it's a safe and usable surface. I wouldn't say the job was cheap, but I feel like the quality of work was worth the expense. Pete's has maintenance covered as well. They'll be back in the spring to reseal the asphalt, and because they're on top of scheduling it I don't have to think about it. The maintenance costs will be pretty reasonable.

I was told the job would be completed in a month, but two days later they had an opening and so came and did a nice and very neat job of sealing the cracks and sealing the blacktop. The whole job was completed rapidly, allowing more than enough for the driveway to completely dry by evening. A couple of cracks did not completely fill so they came back two days later and redid these cracks, and even added a bit more sealer on 20% of the driveway at no additional cost. I am pleased to strongly recommend Pete's Absolute Asphalt. Once they finally make an appointment, they don't show up, and then they say they'd like to reschedule it but they don't show up for that, either. I tried email and voicemails and got no response to either. The consequences for me are great, as I am now entering winter with no backup heat source to the electric air pump in my house, which they knew from the beginning was my reason for contacting them. Since then, I've heard a lot about this hedgehog. Although he acts nice, he's a cheat who would say anything to get you to buy.
