Great pizza ! Good selection . Good takeout selection . Fast service. Casual atmosphere.

Burnt pizza.. awesome...
Jessica N.

I ordered delivery and when it arrived it was missing some of my order. On top of it the two pizzas were burnt. Check out the pics. Won't be ordering from here again.

This is the first time I ordered food from Foschini's Brick Oven, my order was take out but still food. The place was clean, cute and cozy; the smell from the wood burning oven and the food....made your mouth water. The staff was welcoming with a smile and very courteous. I like that when I am buying take out food. After getting home with dinner, we were extremely surprised over the amount of food we received for the very reasonable price paid. As for the food, let's just say.....this is now our new dinner spot. With a variety of things to choose from, we can't go wrong. Yummy!!!

I'm not going to completely hate on the store, because sometimes they actually make pretty good food, but the last couple of times they've delivered to us or we picked up it has been downright awful. The pictures on Instagram don't do justice to what they actually serve to customers sometimes. Roll the dice at your own peril.

Chicken parm hero. I requested it well done... it's not.

Ordered from here because it was playoff night and I wasn't in the mood to cook. First off, I like that their prices are relatively low and the delivery minimum is only $10. It's easy to meet. I order a chicken parm hero and requested that it be well done with extra sauce on the side. I also ordered a side of fries. The hero was definitely not well done as the bread was as soft as if it were a cold hero. I was disappointed there because I like the bread to be crispy. The fries were pretty good and a huge serving. As for this order, I really wasn't impressed and have had a better sandwich elsewhere but I'm going to give this place a second chance because they have brick oven pizza. If that's good, we'll go from there.

This place is terrible. The food was almost as bad as the service. They can't get a simple order correct, ever. Don't order from here.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

The first margherita pizza I ordered was delicious and looked exactly like the photos they advertise online -- fluffy wood-fired crust, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and overall high quality. That positive experience is the reason I ordered again. Tonight, however, I opened the box and received what looked more like a thin-crust cheese pizza with tiny pieces of what appeared to be spinach scattered on top instead of fresh basil. The crust was thin and flat, not the thick, airy wood-fired dough that is advertised on their website and delivery platforms. The fresh mozzarella was also replaced with grated cheese, which completely changed the pizza. When I called the restaurant, I was told they do "Tavern Thursdays," where the margherita pizza is made differently -- thin crust, grated cheese, and basil sprinkled on instead of the traditional version. My issue is not necessarily that they offer a different style on Thursdays -- it's that this was NOT clearly advertised anywhere on the website or ordering platform where I placed my order. I was instead told that the information is posted on Instagram. That is unacceptable. Customers should not have to check a restaurant's social media to find out that the item they're ordering is completely different from what is being advertised on the actual ordering platform. If the pizza is going to be fundamentally changed one day a week, that should be clearly stated on the website, menu, and delivery apps before checkout. Otherwise, it feels misleading and false advertising. The pizza I received looked nothing like the photos used to advertise the margherita pizza, and not at all like the one I previously received. Really disappointing experience, especially after such a great first order.

For food, we decided to order a bunch of things to share: -Zucchini fritte (with lemon aioli dipping sauce) - this was thin and perfectly crispy but somehow not oily. It was addicting -Arancini - these were okay. Could have used more meat -Margherita pizza - can't go wrong with a margherita. I do wish the actual crust was thinner -Meatball & Co pizza (meatballs, sweet sausage, cherry peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella & ricotta cheese) - same with the crust situation. The description also said cherry peppers but they also added jalapenos, which is not a big deal - just a call out. The sausage was alright -Seafood fra Diavolo (sauteed clams, calarami, mussels, spicy tomato sauce) - sauce could have used a bit more spice. They don't skimp on the seafood though. I was pleasantly surprised by the calamari, which can taste rubberband-y but that wasn't the case here -Tiramisu - tasted fridgey/supermarket-bought -Affogato - a nice way to end the meal. Made me wonder why I don't make more affogatos at home Overall, it the meal was fine. Is it something I'd crave for? I don't think so. Well, maybe except that zucchini fritte. If you're a working stiff that doesn't want to break the bank to feed your family - you can't help but appreciate that there's a place like Da Mario's that's not chasing 'likes' but remaining humble and knocking out damn good food that's affordable and tasty. The pizza is solid. Good taste, a satisfying crust, it's not going to lure any 'influencers' their way and that's fine. (Da Mario's doesn't look like a place that has any social media presence and I'd bet they still have a dedicated fax line!) The garlic knots looked 'basic' but they had a serious smack of flavor that took me by surprise, I can't lie. (And their mozzarella sticks were a hit with my kids.) And - per the usual - I must order cavatelli and broccoli when I see it - and they absolutely nail it. Not the most comfortable chairs to sit in? A table you're expecting to be a bit wobbly? Generic maps and drawings of Italy on the walls? The place is bare bones... nothing fancy, exactly what you're expecting from an old-school pizza joint. Crew behind the counter - awesome. Metered street parking (but this block is incredibly busy, so you'd be keen to drop a quick prayer to St. Frances of Rome - the patron saint of car drivers - to help you find a spot). Nonna Slice (8.3/10) - The nonna slice provided a unique twist on the typical margarita flavor town. Penne Vodka Slice (8/10) - Tastes like what it looks like, a lot of pasta with less room for the sauce to shine. The slice was gimmicky but was a fun attempt at combining two fan favorite dishes.
