I finally got around to giving this place a try after years and years of living in the area. We landed here after a ball game late at night. They are open until 3am, which makes it very convenient. We went with our traditional Buffalo Chicken pie and a plain pie with half pepperoni. Service was excellent and food was ready at the time indicated. My son said the Buffalo Chicken pizza was "Ok". He loves his Buffalo Chicken pie and is a total pizza snob when it comes to that. The pepperoni pie was pretty good. Well above average. I like mine a little more thin crust and well done but that's just my personal preference. I found it a little too thick for me. All in all, very good service and solid food. I would definitely go back.

My experience was great! We were so hungry coming back from a long drive and nothing was open. Enter Lyndhurst Pizza... Not only is this place open later than any place in the area (Yes, even during COVID!), but the service was very friendly. I always suggest picking up your food over delivery, especially during these times when wait times could be higher. It was very easy, I just went up to the counter and ordered 4 slices. And at 12 AM too! It took all of 2 minutes to get my food. The slices were crispy and fresh.

Convenient I believe this is the first time I have reviewed delivered food. At home I would just go get something, but we are not at home. It is late and I am unexpectedly sitting in a hotel room, our flight cancelled after being delayed for 5 hours. I should be writing a review for Jet Blue. But I digress... The hotel provided flyers of a few places that would deliver food to the hotel, and we decided on this one. They have a large menu. From the hot and cold sub section I picked one that I would call an "Italian", ham, salami, provolone, oil, and the usual toppings. My wife called in the order and that seemed to go well. We did get a call from the delivery person who was not sure where we were. We dug up an address to the hotel, apparently they are not quite around the corner after all. Shortly thereafter our food did arrive, nice guy, well packaged food. The sandwich was larger than we expected, a little bready, but it also had enough stuff inside to make for a good sandwich. We definitely appreciated access to food tonight while we were stuck in a hotel in an unfamiliar area with no car.

I hate to write negative reviews, but I feel like I must. We were working all day into the evening and we wanted to order a pizza to end our night and this was one of the only places that was open still. The pizza came within the timeframe that was told to us over the phone, but the pizza was not cooked well done as requested, it arrived semi warm, and it must have been tossed around in the back seat of the car, because the cheese and toppings were all disheveled. All of the toppings and oil from the pizza created a mess in our kitchen when we opened the box. I would be open to a response or feedback from the pizzeria as to explain what could have happened tonight. Paying $25 for a pizza like this is [somewhat] absurd and I wouldn't mind giving this place a try again if they can deliver on what they advertise and discuss in-person over the phone.

The pizza was alright. I'm not sure what the hype of it is?? It might be because I am more of a fan with NY style? Or maybe it was later in the night they didn't have many choices. I had to take another star because the next day my friend had to "go" a lot throughout the day and my stomach also hurt. not sure if it was due to this place or not.

Had to order a couple pies because there was not enough food for a birthday party. The pizza was okay, I would t say it was the best I've ever had, but it got the job done. Kudos to them for coming through-- otherwise there may have been some disappointed and hungry kids at the party, lol. read more

"Is this place romantic?" - Yelp's first question after I checked-in and that caused a bit of a chuckle. (No disrespect but even the workers here would have to fess up that "romance" would not be the first word that comes to mind when you step inside to grab your grub.) My family has given this a place a few chances over the years and it's usually... okay. The pizza - more times than not we found it average, undercooked, nothing too exciting. (But on our most recent visit it had definitely improved.) Their Cesar salad with chicken - the Mrs. had a few bites and proclaimed, "Wherever this came from - it's two stars at most!" Mozzarella sticks - pretty good. Side of sautéed broccoli - surprisingly better than I feared it might be (especially after the Mrs.' "two-stars" quip). Staff are friendly. Pricing seems a bit higher than it should be for the quality of the grub. Their niche seems to be how late they stay open and their pie is completely decent for the 'last call crowd', no doubt. But if you have the moxie to name your place after the town itself... you really need to up your game. So my official "In-Town Pizzeria Ranking - Summer 2022 Edition" has Lyndhurst Pizza somewhere in the lower-middle of the pack. Lyndhurst Pizzeria is one of those places that just feels right. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with such a warm welcome, and the staff is so patient, always making sure you're taken care of. Lyndhurst Pizza is my number one most recommended pizza place in New Jersey. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and accommodating. The food is also very very good, the pizza in particular is EXCEPTIONAL. Aside from that, their wings are top tier, the sandwiches are very good and even their soul is incredible! I am very confident that the other items on the menu will follow the same level of quality and excellence that I have become accustomed to. Ordered via Uber Eats, which was my first mistake, as they don't use Uber's delivery drivers. Order was placed at 11:40 with the latest delivery at 12:35. 12:40 rolls around and I call the restaurant to be told that the driver has already left. At 1:00am, I call again; same story. At 1:15, I call a third time, only to be told the exact same thing. The driver finally pulls up to my house at 1:25, nearly two full hours after placing my order. As expected, the pizza was cold after so long. The driver, nor the person on the phone, did not offer anything by way of explanation or apology. My house is a 7 minute drive from the restaurant, I cannot fathom how or why it took so long, or why the restaurant could do nothing to rein in their apparently rouge driver. I'm an essential worker who has been pulling some looooong hours; all I wanted was a quick meal after work that I didn't have to cook myself. I won't be ordering again. read more

Great pizza and the garlic knots are delicious. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the sauce has just the right amount of tanginess. The combination of flavors is absolutely mouthwatering. This is the best pizza in the area. Open until 3am, very consistent service and pizza quality. I don't order much, but I'll walk in and eat here late sometimes and the staff is very kind and accommodating. The owner is usually on site and is very friendly and remembers your name. My favorite pie is light cheese and well done. Their dough is not medium chewy and just enough crisp this way. The cheese is high quality and doesn't seem to affect my lactose intolerance. It's not the nicest place inside but that's what I like about it. Great place to come to with the guys after a night out, very low key jersey environment. read more

This was the 2nd worst pizza I ever had, If you're gonna charge $23. for an 18" pizza pizza it should barely fit in the box! the one I got yesterday had plenty of room around the edges to the Box and it took an 11/2 hours to get And it was flavorless I will never order food from there again never mind the $10. I work overnights at a hospital and this is my second time ordering from them. I wish I took a picture of the pizza but it was so good and my coworkers and I demolished it! Can we give 0 stars? This place deserves it. Ordered thru grub hub at 6:01 , said estimated delivery as 6:50 Its now 7:25 and still no order I only ordered pizza and a sandwich! Do not recommended Buffalo chicken pizza. And I think 2.75 for a bottle of soda and 1.50 for a can is expensive. The slices were cold straight out of the oven. I gave it 3 instead of 2 because I know the pizza would be better if it was warmer (hotter lol) read more

Got stuck in NJ late on a Sunday night. Not much to choose from so I went with the hotel clerk's suggestion. Glad I did. Ordered a large special. Lady was nice enough on the phone. Said the pie was $18.99 before tax. I was expecting another three or four bucks for delivery but when the driver got here it was $20.10 total. That's super cheap for a 16" with tons of cheese, big meaty slices of sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions. Really pleased with the value. Not a bad pie either. The crust was perfect and the sauce and toppings were plentiful. Great experience all around. read more

We ordered wings pizza and garlic knots! The pizza was really really good!!!! I'm a huge pizza fan so that says a lot. The garlic knots were a little stale & the wings were soggy ... but I rather have my wings crispy so I should have probably mentioned that when I placed the order. But I did ask for all flats and they were able to do that for me. THANKYOU!!!!! I would deff get the pizza again! read more

Can't comment on the pizza. But don't order any subs from this place. The bread was old top layer hard. I ordered turkey and cheese. I got 2 thin slices of turkey and one thin slice of American cheese. So basically it was a sub filled with iceberg lettuce huge tomatoes and huge onion chunks. So disappointing. First and last time... I gave 2 stars cause at least the delivery guy was fast read more

This is a review for delivery: Food arrived earlier than expected and was warm and fresh! Was a huge fan of the wings, but the sauce used for them were excellent (BBQ)! Loved the CALZONE and it was HUGE! Did not mind the delivery fee as it's a bit out of the way of the restaurant. A little bummed that it says I can't order anymore through GrubHub because they aren't in my delivery network anymore; especially since I have a coupon! However, I called in an order and they are delivering no problem! The pizza is average and the prices of pies are high. HOWEVER, everything else is A++. Service- Impeccable! Pasta, chicken rolls, custom dishes (just ask and they will try to accommodate any request), Zeppolies- you name it, it's top quality and very tasty. Furthermore, they are open till 230 am! Bottom line- my go-to pizza joint in the area. Minus one star for price. read more
