I stopped here to get food I ordered on the TooGoodtoGo app and was pleasantly surprised. It's a small pizza joint in Clifton which I've never been to before so I didn't know what to expect. The price for the food was $3.99 which is a real bargain. I ended up with four slices of pizza. A pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and two veggie slices. The counter guys were great and even warmed up the slices before I left. The pepperoni slice was good, very cheesy which is a plus. The buffalo chicken slice was one of best I ever had, perfect amount of heat and chicken was great. The two veggie slices smelled great and were also very good according to the consumer.....lol. The TooGoodtoGo app earned this place another try. I will be back to order more items in the future. Glad I found this place. read more

I hate tearing down pizza joints and am rating based only on their abomination of a Sicilian pie. It was inedible and overcooked. They did put a ton of cheese on the pie which I appreciate, but the crust was thick and tough to chew. I ended up throwing the whole pie out. I hope the owners will see this review and fix the issue. read more

My clients picked this place for lunch and placed their order and I called in to place mine. When I called a nice man answered and he was able to adjust things to fit the budget and he gave me my pasta dish on the house which I truly appreciated. They delivered everything on time and put my pasta with vegetables on the side. When I tasted my food it was good and there was more than enough for me to eat. This was a solid no for me and even got a thumbs down from my kids who will usually mow any pizza. Both the chicken and the mozzarella on the salad tasted old and were chewy. I just threw the whole thing out. The mozzarella sticks were fine. The pizza was no good at all. It only had a little cheese, the sauce was sour and the crust was chewy, undercooked dough. The chicken Parmesan sandwich that I ordered from this place was absolutely disgusting. The chicken was excruciatingly dry, overcooked & there barely was any sauce on the hoagie. This is the first time since I started ordering wings from here that I was thoroughly disappointed. I dunno what counts as a normal sized wing, but what I got today can't be it. I ordered 36 wings. Typically, the entire pan is filled with no spaces. This time, there was at least an inch or so of space from the laid out chicken wings to the edge of the pan. If you see the size of the wings, you'll understand why. What I got was the equivalent of the 24 wing order in terms of volume. The wings weren't even as long as my index finger. Each wing took literally one bite. Not even a full bite, mind you. Also, they don't actually give you an extra container of blue cheese. I've ordered wings with extra blue cheese dip 6 times ($0.50 each) and it's always been 3 containers. I recently stopped ordering with the extra dip and it turns out, they still give you 3 containers. I don't think I'll be ordering wings from Master Pizza again. Which is too bad because, I really did enjoy their wings and the sauce. All it takes is one bad experience and this was it. I feel cheated of the $3.00 spent on extra blue cheese I never got and the amount of food I received. read more

Ordered through the Slice app-got a call saying that they didn't have a delivery person, so I changed the order to pickup...not realizing that there are multiple Master Pizzas (d'oh). Called a few minutes later to see if I could cancel (I don't have my car at the moment and it's a bit far to walk 10 miles!). Seemed to be too late, so I told them to just keep/give away the food. Well, I get a call 10 minutes later saying the manager was going to make an exception and deliver (they actually don't deliver to Carlstadt which was the original problem-totally understandable!). Plus, they were super kind over the phone. Seriously? I mean, 5 stars for customer service right there. BUT WAIT! We got our food (plain pizza, mozzarella sticks, a garden salad)-OMG WAS IT GOOD!! Pizza was absolutely perfect (and truthfully it was still warm when we got it-again, 10 miles away? That's awesome.), mozzarella sticks are delicious and their homemade Italian dressing is so tasty (it's simple). The kicker? A little extra bag with dessert (I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it's gonna be as amazing as everything else)!!! Long story short-I truly appreciated the delivery exception, and you just made a new loyal customer (when i get my car back, of course)! read more

I had two pies delivered. The first one was pepperoni, sausage, onions, and cherry peppers. I asked for extra sauce, they didn't do that. However, the pizza tasted awesome! I wanted to give them a rating lower for not doing what I asked but, it really did taste good... it just needed more sauce. The crust was nice and not too crispy, the sauce (what little there was) was good and not too sweet, and all the toppings tasted good and not old. The second pie was a square pizza. Just cheese and pepperoni. This time, they did put extra sauce on that one. I actually didn't like the square pizza. I didn't like how the crust was so chewy and doughy. There is a place in Jersey City where they call their square pizza a Brooklyn Slice. The crust on that thing is crunchy... like they toasted it. I like that much better. Overall, this place is not bad. If they would have actually listened and put extra sauce on both pies, I would be happy. I hate paying 50 bucks on two pies and not getting what I asked for. read more

Ordered from here because it was highly rated on Uber Eats. What a mistake. This is what I got and what I thought. Caesar Salad - romaine was romaine. Dressing was a watered down BLAH Italian dressing with old Parm mixed in. Oh, the croutons were super soggy as well. Mozz Sticks - why I expected. Frozen pre made. Wings - Small and pasty. Very soggy exterior with an overly sweet sauce. Thanks for charging for the blue cheese dressing and celery. "Grandmas Pie" - Far cry from what a grandmas pie is. Sauce was horrible Regular Pie - Junk wanna be pizza that would rival and slice from 711 or a gas station. However the dough was crisp. Coke - Perfection So basically this place was not good at all. It has nothing to do with anything aside from it's just not good. If there was a pizza competition around here I would make a bet in a heartbeat that this place would come in last. read more

Came to order pizza and I had my sister who has health problems. I ordered and we waited for our food. My sister health problem includes a stomach problem that sometimes when I'm out she makes a loud burp. It's embarrassing enough for me already but it's not in her hands. She burped and the entire staff stood there and laughed at us. As embarrassing as it was already, they were so fucking rude that they started making fun of my sister and the noise she made. I swear to god we were there for almost 30 minutes and they didn't stop laughing at us. Never coming back here again. And keeping my family away from here. Nothing about a burp is funny. And my sister clearly looks like she has problems. If the girl reading this is the cashier at this place, try being a better person please. read more

I'm a large fan of Buffalo Chicken wraps, and I gotta say. Of all the recent pizza spots I've gone to asking for this item, this place has got to be ones that has got it right. The buffalo sauce had just the perfect amount of spice to sauce ratio. It was amazing. My girlfriend also got blessed. She ordered a Mancotti Pasta and I just found myself taking more bites out of her plate then mine! I don't know how they do it but it seems as though their chefs are creme of the crop. Nick's Sandwich Shop (Located in the Mid-Town Center Strip…read moreMall) 505 Saddle River Rd. Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 Choripan Special: Half Sausage Sandwich Homemade Chips This special deal includes a half sausage sandwich with freshly cut french fries (the owner refers to this side as "chips"). This sausage sandwich is a simple sandwich consisting of protein, bread, and a signature sauce. While this may seem dull, it's actually quite tasty. The Argentinian sausage was served on a soft seeded roll. The chimichurri spread was freshly made in house and undoubtedly the best feature of the sandwich. The fries were hot, crispy and seasoned perfectly. A side of ketchup was included, but they were so flavorful they could have been eaten without any dipping sauces. There is a decent amount of seating in the dining area. Because the ship is located inside a strip mall, there are multiple parking spaces behind the stores. Carlos was very attentive and an outstanding server. He welcomed me into the restaurant and made me feel right at home. #nickssandwichshop #saddlebrooknj #choripanspecial

The steak was very tender, juicy and the chimi sauce enhanced the flavor. Bread was fresh and toasted. Also got to try the choriopan special ($11.95) which is a sausage with chimichurri sandwich was also solid. I liked the skirt steak sandwich the best, it's not cheap but the ingredients are high quality so it's worth it as a treat. If you're in the area and want fresh, made to order sandwiches, I would recommend Nick's. * Parking on premise * gender neutral restroom

Does anyone know if this establishment has changed owners? Phoned in an order for delivery. Large Pizza w/sausage, Antipasto salad, & a Large Meatball Parmesan sandwich. We were told a 35-40 minute wait, which is not unusual. An hour and a half later I called to get status of our order. Was told it was out for delivery. 15 min later the driver arrived. No apologies for the long wait. Pizza was cold, and had pepperoni on it, (NOT what I ordered) I despise cold pizza, The sandwich was obviously cold too. The salad, however, was wilted from sitting on top of the hot pizza box, and they sent a plain garden salad, NOT an antipasto. I called the establishment to make them aware and have the driver refund the difference in cost. He more or less told me to "F" off. Enough was enough, I sent it back. Thank goodness I was paying in cash, otherwise I can just see the nightmare of my credit card being adjusted. All in All, Master's has lost a long time customer and I will tell everyone I know to stay away, far away. There's over 100 pizzerias between Clifton, Nutley, Bloomfield, Garfield that a person can order from. (Negative 5 Stars) read more

The main event, the pizza was the worst pizza I've ever had. It was completely soggy on the bottom, to the point where it leaked through the packaging. The sauce was just a can of tomato sauce, it had no flavor at all and the cheese was rubber. It was inedible, unfortunately we threw it out because we couldn't even pop it on the pan to crisp up. The wings were the basic wings you get anywhere in New Jersey. I think they all use the same frozen wings. And the meatballs also had the same sauce as the pizza. It only came with 2 small meatballs. The broccoli was fine, it's hard to mess up broccoli. It's very garlicky though! We did call the restaurant and someone answered but did not talk, I think they were talking to a customer in person.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.
