I brought my rare 1993 Ford Escort RS Cosworth over to this place on a recommendation. I was told they were the experts in aligning vehicles and race cars. Running a massive Aftermarket Automotive Parts company I am fully aware of the challenges in this industry. This is just 1 of my 5 cars. I had contacted the owner Eddie via text as instructed and provided him all the vehicle info, the suspension upgrades done, and what I was trying to achieve. I even explained to him some of the issues to check such as ride height, vehicle pulling, rear camber adjustments, steering wheel, front tie rods. I included in the vehicle a new set of front tie rods if needed since all this stuff comes from the UK. As a owner, I am busy but drove from Gilbert to near downtown Tempe as I wanted the right person to deal with the car. I dropped it off and expected the service to be done. The next day I got a call it was ready and to come pick it up. When I got there I asked how everything went and if they got the steering wheel straight and checked the ride height. The owner told me, the ride height was perfect (it wasnt as I personally set it to just get it within range). He had me take a test drive with the kid around the block as they didnt want to drive it. They said the coilovers were binding lock to lock which I said, that is normal for these to do this. The car still pulled left to right, steering wheel not straight. He explained to me road crowning etc. I get it. I paid his $150 fee which I thought was cheap as I was going to be $1000 if I had to for it to be done by a professional and fully setup. I drove the car home in and put it on the lift. Took the vehicle out today and wasnt happy so sent him a txt voicing my frustrations. As my business and what I do is well known, I expected him to understand my frustrations and have a owner to owner conversation. He told me he just talked to his guys (22 year old kids) and they said they didnt want to touch that car and he should not have brought it there. That should have been said up front before I took my time to drive there. He said I told him ALL my cars bind and they did the best they could but didnt want to touch it. I told him he should have communicated that up front. He said, "what do you want me to do". I said refund the $150 as its not the money but the point. You are telling me you didnt perform the service I requested. He told me he forgot to have me sign a waiver that says they dont guarantee anything they dont install. I said listen I am not some kid this is pretty frustrating and Im getting heated. His response was "well then fuck off. you can go fuck off." If you want to talk to me about it then come down to my shop. So here is my review. I would not say you have skilled labor... You have an angry East Coast guy that thinks he is running a successful business. So for telling me Go Fuck Off when i didnt raise my voice and wanted to find a solution, here is a great review about your very small business. Im glad you can do 100 cars a month or a week. Only leaving one star to write this review....i was referred by someone so I called for the first time ever. Simply asked if they possibly had any availability for same day appointment. Employees response was "For today?! You have any fucking idea how busy we are??!!" Umm no how do I know how busy you are? This is clearly why I asked. A simple "sorry we don't but can schedule you for a later day" was all that needed to be said. For all I know their work could be the best around but talking to potential clients this way will damage your shops reputation and business. Don't know the name of the employee but the owner should really check his employees before they destroy his business....will never use them and definitely wont recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed. I spoke with the owner and scheduled an appointment to have my springs swapped on my Tesla. We scheduled it for 2 weeks out as that was "the soonest that he could get me in". I drove 1.5 hours one way on a Monday morning to be told he couldn't do my vehicle the day of the appointment. He said he was too busy and had some personal things come up. The least Eddie could have done is let me know he needed to reschedule so I didn't waste 3 hours of my day. Extremely unprofessional.
