The food was wonderful, the service was attentive, and we had a lovely time with an extended chat once we finished eating. I selected several dishes and asked the server which was the most popular amongst the dishes I chose, and she let me know the salt and pepper fish, which I got with chow mein. We also ordered shrimp & broccoli, and sweet-and-sour pork. Everything appeared made to order and looked very fresh. From grandma to the babes everyone was happy with their food. Mine was more on the plain Jane with just fried fish, luckily it came with sliced jalapeños to give it a kick. Next time I'll order a spicy eggplant dish. This is a good place to go to if you're with a group of picky eaters. Price is very reasonable, especially for dinner.

For me this place is a 3/5. I ordered the general chicken and orange chicken. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I came maybe about 10 min later. Got the food and tasted it soon after I got to my car. Orange chicken lacking in that orange pop. General chicken lacking in overall flavor. What was the most unforgivable though was the soggy chicken. Eating at its optimal level would be eating it fresh at the table at the restaurant. Next best thing would be in the car as soon as you got it. But it's a to-go restaurant to realistically your eating it at home after it's traveled for however many minutes. As expected when I got home it was soggy. But it was already as soggy as possible to begin with. Why is this place a 4/5 I have no idea. Maybe since I came during off peak hours so they foods just sitting around and there's no fresh food turnover? No idea. Maybe I'll give them another chance one day but who knows. Also factor in that they don't have rice plates and the cost of pure entrees alone and that's a negative for me. I didn't know how lacking Chinese food was in Manteca because I was spoiled by the old Kitty's Kitchen. Nothing compares in the area.

We spent $91.00 on Chinese food fro forum Last night. We have never been so disappointed. We ordered "Hawaiian BBQ" plates Meat had zero flavor , was Place on in a pan and tossed in a container . No terriaki sauce !!!!! Egg foo you want dumped In the bottom Of the bag upon delivery. Shrimp chow menu had minimal shirmp No flavor same goes for the chicken chow menu ordered Everything literally seemed as if was steamed and thrown in containers The fried win tons were more Like crushed won tons and over cooked Crab rangoons over cooks We were even given vegetable springs rolls at no charge for such a large order and those were over cooked as well..... The beef noodle soup had a rich, comforting broth with tender beef, the string beans were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the salt and pepper tofu was crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. It's not always easy to find good Taiwanese cuisine in the Central Valley, so we're really happy we found this place. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. If you're in Manteca and craving authentic Taiwanese food, this place is absolutely worth checking out!
