When their salesperson came door-to-door, I was specifically told there was "no contract." That turned out to be completely false. After signing, I discovered I was locked into a service agreement and had to wait an entire year before I could cancel. Then when that year was finally up, I called to cancel and was informed that although I was eligible to cancel in May, I still had to continue paying through July because of their quarterly billing structure. Conveniently, that detail was never emphasized when they were trying to earn my business. What bothered me even more was the cancellation process itself. When you call and select the option to cancel service, you can sit on hold indefinitely. However, if you call back and choose a different department, someone answers almost immediately. Draw your own conclusions. Once I finally reached a representative, I spent several minutes listening to a hard sales pitch instead of having my cancellation processed. The irony was that the same representative told me monthly service would be too expensive to be worthwhile, while simultaneously trying to convince me not to leave. The pest control itself was fine. My issue is with the sales tactics, lack of transparency, and the obstacles placed in front of customers who want to cancel. I felt misled when I signed up and frustrated when I tried to leave. If you're considering UrbanX, get every promise in writing and ask detailed questions about contracts, renewal terms, cancellation deadlines, and billing cycles before you sign anything.

Let me start by saying I have never written a bad review and I wish I had read the reviews before…read moremaking the mistake of signing up with Urbanex. It turns out many customers have had experiences similar to mine. Urbanex operates by sending salespeople door to door, which should be a red flag in itself. What they don't tell you up front is that you'll be charged $193.00 (with tax) TWICE in the first 30 days -- once for the initial visit on May 1, 2025, and again on June 1st. That's $386.00 in the first month alone. The sales pitch is it's only $60 a month. I was approached by a friendly, energetic sales rep named Ari. She was personable, told me her father was a pastor, and emphasized how great it was to work for a local company. She seemed sincere -- but unfortunately, she was completely dishonest about the pricing. She told me service would be $60/month or $193.00 per quarter (with tax), even showing me the math on her phone. She never once mentioned the second charge of $193.00 a month later. Had I known, I would never have signed up. I also asked specifically about the cancellation policy. She told me if I canceled, I wouldn't get the $193 refunded -- which I was fine with. But again, this was misleading. She quickly flipped through the agreement on her iPad, hoping I wouldn't read the fine print -- and I didn't, which was my mistake. But when I saw the second charge on my credit card 30 days later, I called the company and was told it was all in the contract. I canceled immediately, and was then charged another $150 to cancel. So in total, this dishonest sales pitch cost nearly $400.00 in less than 30 days and dirty windows. Urbanex may sound convincing at your door, but their business model is built on deception. I would strongly advise anyone considering them to read every single line of the contract -- or better yet, look elsewhere. Last thing, after one service, I had to clean pesticide residue off my windows because of how the technician sprayed the house. DON"T BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS... Once he was done, he asked if I'd write a five-star Google review because they get paid $5.00 for each one. That tells you everything you need to know about how they collect their glowing reviews. Signarama Northwest has earned my 5 stars AND return business because of their professionalism,…read moreability to deliver promptly, and affordability. Being a typical consumer, I first shopped around multiple vendors for our flooring storefront window vinyl. When I first spoke with Shashi over the phone, I immediately knew that I found the right vendor. He was professional, personable, and understood my project priorities well. Signarama NW also came in with the most competitive pricing. Their design team was extremely helpful and patient with my needs, and even offered suggestions to help improve the overall aesthetics from our original design. When the time came to ordering vinyl wall lettering for our showroom interior 10months later, Signarama NW came in with the most competitive pricing AND was able to deliver promptly (most other vendors needed a much longer turnaround) once again. Kudos to you Signarama Northwest! If you're looking for a sign shop in Austin, look no further. Signarama Northwest is the place to be.

Instead of showing up when we could be there to assist with positioning as requested, he chose to show up after hours to get the job done. In following up on the bad positioning, Shashi agreed to order a new part and come back out to change it for an additional cost. I agreed reluctantly to the cost but decided it was an honest mistake and since he was willing to fix it we could move forward. Fast forward 6 weeks and multiple attempts on our part to find out the status of our fix, and I finally got an email back saying "after taking into the account the cost of additional material (posts) and labor (time), you will probably realize that it is not worth our time to undertake this job. I had been hoping that you would find somebody else to get it done. To be honest any odd job man should be able to do it for you. It's not even sign industry related since the sign part is already made and already installed." This was received AFTER he agreed to do the job for a fair price (his number) and walked away from it without an update for 6 weeks. We were just supposed to forget about it and understand that we weren't worth the time, I suppose. I'm absolutely floored by the lack of customer service mentality inherent in this message and will not be using Signarama for our future needs.

At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. You'll be very happy you did.

Surprisingly, it was incredibly difficult to find anyone who could deliver with speed and quality. That's when we were introduced to 360 Press Solutions by a few trusted vendors in Austin and I'm so glad we were. From the very first call, Cindy was amazing. Incredibly professional, responsive, and solution-oriented all the way through. The badges were delivered in person to our office, and they looked fantastic. We received so much positive feedback from attendees. These small details truly elevated the event experience. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially given the turnaround and level of service. I can't recommend this business enough. So grateful for your work, there will definitely be more business to come. Alex, Executive Assistant at a 5,000-person company
