Nope. Not better by a long shot - than my last trip five years ago...during COVID....where they had the place locked down like Fort Knox. I tried again last night thinking they had changed chefs or ownership...and ordered online to take home my go-to Moo-Shu Pork with a side of egg rolls. Just terrible. Even worse than last time. The portion size was large and they provided four pancakes, but it was literally RAW shredded cabbage mixed with some sauce and huge chunky veggies (celery, carrots, watercress, etc.) that had no taste. Layered on top were medallions of Chinese barbeque pork (which had some flavor) but it surely didn't make up for all the raw hard and chewy shredded cabbage. It should have been shredded finely and sauteed in a wok, but no. I thought the Hoisin sauce was going to add some flavor, but even that was lackluster. The side of egg rolls was meh, and the sweet-n-sour dipping sauce was like water. TWO STARS for lack of flavor and poor presentation. It could have been MUCH better... How can you mess up Chinese food? I will never patronize this establishment again. read more

We tried this place for the first time on a a Friday night for takeout. Everything we ordered was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I hate leaving a bad review but I feel like throwing 5 $50 plus in a fire would have had a better taste. I had the moo shu pork and Hong Kong rice. The best thing about the moo shu was the plum sauce. The Hong Kong was just rice mixed with onion a little egg, beef and chicken. It had no flavor at all. We also ordered the cheese wantons. They were rubbery and tasted like oil that hadn't been changed for awhile. The chicken chop suey was a little better, however we asked for crunchy noodles. They threw those on top in one container. Needless to say they were not crunchy at all. I really do hate giving this kind of review but when we threw all of it away instead of eating it. Along with everything we ordered was bad. The food here is really good. The potstickers and sauce have the taste and texture I like. The meals are just the right size.

I'm giving one stars because it was fast and friendly but this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. No way around it. I'm pretty sure you could find a random Chinese cookbook at the library, having never cooked before and still come out with better food than this. The sweet and sour sauce is like hello. I'm pretty sure the fried rice is cooked three days in advance. STOP! If you're reading this and you own that restaurant, stop making this garbage it's not that hard to make good food. read more

Ordered takeout of $84 worth of food. They missed one whole entree. All of the other entrees tasted the same and not very good at all. Most of my family didn't eat it. The fried shrimp were like rubber. There was no flavor to anything. Even the vegetable spring rolls were bland. Not your traditional Chinese food. Best Hot and Sour soup around, some of their other items can be hit and miss depending on the cook.

There are moments in life when you need to stay in, and you need noodles to accompany you. And in those moments, you need someone to bring you those noodles. Such was a moment last week. Like a bawse, I fired up the Yelp app and was delighted to find that Fortune Cuisine had the noodles I desired, and they offered delivery right from the comfort of the app. A few clicks, and poof. Like magic, noodles appeared at my door. I'm rather enthusiastic about those noodles, as a matter of fact. I opted for the chow fun, as I thought it might be a change of page from lo mein or the likes. Indeed, it was flavorful, not too greasy, and served with crisp veggies. It's a staple, nothing fancy, but when you need noodles on a weeknight, it's precisely what you're after. I had it with pork, and it's the right call. Trust. I probably wouldn't order the sweet and sour chicken again. Sweet and sour is actually kinda finnicky, and while it was fine, I think I'd order something different, with a little more flavor or unique taste to it. However, the fried rice I got was just like I like it. There was a lot of rice, very few ham bits or other distractions, and although it wasn't sticky, it did hold together for easy chopsticking. Delivery was quick and free (but don't forget to tip your driver) and I was out of there with a couple entrees, rice, and a tip for $20 even. I have to admit, I've never been into this location. I've had delivery 3 times since a mailed menu showed up at my house. This is your standard American Chinese Food. I don't know about all of their health claims, but the food does seem to be less salty and have less extra grease than other Chinese places. And when you order a stir fry dish, there are enough veggies to make your mom proud. The menu is large enough to have everyone's favorites. I love that the dishes are described, so I know exactly what I'm getting. Delivery has been prompt and the driver is friendly. The prices are great. Terrible. I have never used yelp and just opened an acoustic t for this page. Nothing is salted or has seasoning. My sweet and sour pork that is supposed to be a Chefs Special was tasteless and soggy. It was just a sad red died bland sauce that was neither sweet or salty. My supposedly braised pork ribs with its special sauce had not sauce, and was so burnt it left a bitter after taste. It was $10.50 for little burned pieces. Hot and Sour soup is on point. Rice is cooked perfectly, not mushy or undercooked. Meat is of good quality, sauces taste as written on menu. I always order tofu, which isn't super firm but doesn't fall apart weirdly in your mouth. Seaweed soup may or may not be tasty, roommates ordered it but I don't think she ever tried it. I should have go a clue when I was the only person in the restaurant at lunch hour. Don't waste your time or money at this restaurant. My husband and I were in the area on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was empty, other than one couple. That should have been our red flag. The food was okay. Standard Americanized Chinese food. Within 15 minutes, I started to feel sick. I went in the bathroom. If I had seen the bathroom before I ordered, we absolutely would have walked out. My wife and her dad found the ad for this place in the newspaper. They claim to have no MSG. It's a nice cozy restaurant to visit in Sandy. It's located in a little "forgotten," corner from my childhood. It's a little more expensive than your usual Chinese Food, but it is delicious and if it is possible to be healthier it atleast tastes healthier. Her favorite dish is "Shrimp and Vegetables." I believe they also deliver if you live close by. ENJOY!!!
