This is partially my fault for trying them again after 3 yrs. and a change in ownership. Sooo... I poured a coffee and the cups they use are very thin so I doubled cupped it. When I got to the counter to pay, the cashier wanted to charge me for 2 coffees. I declined and removed the cup from underneath and proceeded to pay. The cashier looks at me again and asks did I want the cup and I declined again. She stood there and just waited so I told her never mind, just decline the entire transaction. She said "but you poured the coffee." Yes, but Im refusing to pay for an additional cup of coffee, especially AFTER I removed the extra cup from underneath. So I told her again, "okay Just decline the entire transaction. Im not for going back and forth with a person numerous times and Im not going to pay for something I don't want." I walked out and she yelled "DONT COME BACK!" Dont worry, I wont. Horrible customer service. read more

Yelp review of Fort Bend Donuts Walked in with lady on cell phone, she ignored me and offered no eye contact and no greeting. She walked away slightly to continue her conversation and after about 45 seconds, she called to someone in the back, and moments later a man walks out. As he comes out, he wipes his nose with his arm and I ask him to wash his hands; instead he picks up a bag and proceeds to open the donut case. I stop him and mention that I observed him wiping under his nose and again ask him to wash his hands. He sighs, puts the bag down and turns around to the sink. The sink is in full view and he turns on the water and starts rubbing his hands together underneath the water, but does not make any effort to use the soap in front of him. I ask him if he is going to use soap, he ignores me and dries his hands. I tell him that washing hands should be first nature in a food handling and food service business; secondly, soap should be used. I told him I will not come back there and spend a dime in a place where the service is poor, I'm ignored, as well as poor handwashing/hygiene practices. This is not only unacceptable, but gross! One more observation for my Latinos/Latinas, I saw Coca Cola products in the beverage cooler, so they maybe either don't know or are tone deaf and may not care about what has happened to your people. If all they see is green, then consider spending your green dollars elsewhere. I sure as heck will, cuz they aren't the only place that can make donuts, other pastries and coffee. We come here every year for the Ft. Bend County Fair Parade. The donuts and kolaches are pretty good! I always get the jumbo sausage. They use croissant bread that is sweet like Hawaiian bread, around their sausage kolaches. The line gets a bit long, but that's to be expected for events. The only improvement, is that I wish they'd heat up the kolaches as standard. They will heat up breakfast sandwiches, but if you don't ask to heat up kolaches, then you will get cold ones. read more

Definitely not a fan of pastries, donuts, anything too dough-y. Not even a sweet taste for my pallet. This place isn't too far from where I work at and one day I had some delivered to our office and everyone enjoyed it. From the donuts, kolaches, to the ham and cheese. (Surprisingly) Everything was fresh! Usually if you order ham and cheese anywhere, they're ham is very small and it's overly breaded, this actually seemed to surprise me. Just enough carbs and protein. The donuts were awesome, very fresh, the glazes and chocolate ones weren't overly sweet. Has a crispy, airiness to the dough. I didn't get to try ALL of the donuts, but for what I got to try I really like it! I think I might be onto something with these sweet breakfasts. read more

I've been patronizing this place for over 10 years . My daughter and I practically go 3 times a week . Yesterday, the new girl gave me a Nan apple fritter and 2 glazed doughnuts . I asked for 1 cinnamon role and 2 cake doughnuts . Anyway, went this morning and bought more stuff . I told the girl about the day before the mistake . I asked if she could give me the original order . She did Remer me and her mistake. Asked the owner, and the owner said NO .I should have came back the same morning. LikecREALLYV? People go to work , school ,gym . No one has time to drive back . Loyalty to a business counts for nothing these days . This was my favorite donut shop. But it's now under new ownership and it seems that the quality of their products has diminished. Via their drive-thru, I ordered cinnamon rolls but was notified that they're "re-doing" the cinnamon rolls. So I ordered twists, glazed & chocolate donuts and maple donuts with bacon on top. I can only comment on what I ate. The twist tasted like a hot dog bun with glaze on it. The maple/bacon donut was better. With the exception of the bacon which had very little flavor. Looking at the bacon, in my opinion, they chose the cheapest bacon available. And the donut like the twist was very bread like. Too doughy. I drive by 2-3 donut shops to come to this shop. If their quality doesn't improve, I'll need to stop bypassing these other donut shops. read more

These guys know how to make DONUTS! I never want to exaggerate but the glaze donuts are just the best out of this world. Warm, fluffy, light, melts in your mouth. I love their cinnamon rolls and twist. And the croissant sandwiches are very tasty. Way better than Burger King or any franchise place. The Kolaches are really great quick easy and scrumptious. They are always almost out when I get here. This place opens at 5:30am and literally there's always a line via drive up or in store. But everything is always made fresh and that's what I love about this place. They take the time to fry donuts fresh early in the morning for customers when they run out. I can honestly say these are the best donuts I ever had and I'm not even an sweets person. read more
