The problem was the sky light was not installed properly and caused leaks. The heat and sun has dried our caulk and cracks have formed. Caulking like we did before would be necessary when new leaks form. We wanted his thoughts and appreciate his honesty. He did not try to sell us something we did not need but explained the situation so we could understand. We look for contractors that are knowledgeable and honest and he rocks. We would highly recommend him.

They half-painted my bedroom wall and said it was complete. I had to request for them to come back another day to finish painting it. Even though my insurance company was paying for a complete replacement, they had the contract workers try to re-screen my windows which was subpar work. In addition, I'm still waiting for my back screen doors to be replaced. It is November 15, 2023. They started the work on my townhouse on July 11, 2023, and it still is not finished. Again, I do not recommend this company.

It's rare to see a contractor with only positive ratings these days, so choosing Tom and Jerry's…read morewas a no-brainer for that alone. I needed to replace the roof on a new home for my son. I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

Another contractor just used a drone to inspect the roof. And while I understand, this is efficient and can identify areas that need to be repaired, he missed about three things that Tom identified. The crew that came out were pleasant and did a great job. The cost was reasonable. I am very pleased with Tom and Jerry's and would definitely seek them out future roofing needs.

Our experience with Ridgeline started out great- We set up a…read moresame-day appointment with a very knowledgeable salesman, who helped us make an informed decision about materials and design. Because we are teachers, it was important that the work was completed during the summer, before we had to head back to work.  We were told, no problem, that the whole process would take 1-2 days tops, and it would be completed in the next 2 weeks. After 2 long, frustrating months, the work was finally completed, and we would not recommend this company to anyone. Here are the issues we faced: -Materials were not delivered when they were supposed to be. -On multiple occasions, we were told people were coming to do work, but then they wouldn't come, and even when we called/texted to see what was going on, we wouldn't hear back for a few days.   -The work was not completed in 1-2 days.  They had to come 3 different days to demolish/install, and another 3 days to fix the shotty work that was completed previously. -They ruined our ceiling and window frame and left it like it was our problem to fix. -The caulking was sloppy and even had a huge glob inside the shower that wasn't smoothed out. -The shave bar was installed an inch off the floor, so we had to have another one installed above it, so it actually served a purpose. -Water sprayed out all over the floor when it was "finished" because they forgot to add the rubber strips that keep the water from spraying out below the doors. While we understand that materials are sometimes delayed and beyond the company's control, the lack of communication and sloppy work that was completed was shocking with all the positive reviews we read before using the company.   This company did recognize our ridiculous experience and gave us a whopping 5% discount, but that barely made a dent in the thousands we paid for a new shower.

Not recommending! Beware - they don't guarantee repairs!!!…read moreMaybe someone else had a wonderful experience - we did not. A few months ago they did some repairs on our roof stating it had at least 5 years left and with some preventative maintenance maybe even longer before we had to replace it. The main job was to replace the siding on the chimney, but also to address some other problem areas including sealing around the dryer vent. After a recent rain we had a big leak through the dryer vent in the laundry room and then through the kitchen ceiling. Joshua who did the work offered to provide a new estimate to replace part of the roof around the dryer vent and the vent itself. No thank you. We will go with someone else who knows what they are doing. At least he was polite. Mary the receptionist quickly heated herself up and started yelling at me saying "We don't guarantee repairs!!!" and repeating "Do you understand???" after each sentence. I understand Mary. Hopefully, you will not only lose my respect, but someone else's prospective business.
