Nick and his team did a PHENOMENAL job restoring and remodeling my home. I had extensive water damage in my kitchen that also caused damage in my basement. The kitchen remodel is beautiful. There were also updated to my main level bathroom and fireplace and the hardwood floors for the main level were refinished. The Taber Residential team completed all of the work ahead of schedule and on budget. The team cleaned everyday. The guys were friendly, professional and very respectful of my home. They arrived as scheduled and did a fantastic job of explaining the work they were completing and communicating the schedule. My wife and I selected Nick Tabor and Tabor residential for our basement remodel. I have since determined that we made the wrong choice. We had workmanship and communication issues from the beginning. They showed up with the cheapest products. Midway through the project, I felt that in order to get what I wanted, I had to give jobs to someone else, which I did. We now have cracks on the grout in the bathroom we have to get fixed. I looked at their website, saw nothing but good reviews. Don't believe them. read more

Awful! Be very worried about Google reviews that they control. Nick Tabor will promise you the moon and deliver cheap work, for us we got no written planning, did not show to meetings, were postponed, or late. Didn't listen to our requests, left they job unfinished with our money in his pocket. Will NEVER recommend or do business with this man or company. I could write pages and show you lots of photos of the atrocities he did. Needless to say we had to hire different people to fix and finish the mess he left when he run away costing us thousands more. RUN the other way before is too late!!! read more

I cannot express in words how terrible this experience was. Taber Residential did our kitchen and bathroom remodel. After having someone come in to try and redo everything Taber did, we are STILL finding issues 2+ years later. Taber Residential used cheap materials and cut corners at every chance they got. Nick, his wife and the whole Taber Residential crew are great to work with and a top notch crew. We had massive water damage to our front porch off our master bedroom. The damage was so bad the crew had to dismantle the 2nd story porch from the ground to ensure they were not in danger. Nick and his crew explained ever step of the process and ensured that we understood all the work being done. They made major upgrades to the the structure of our porch and even suggested a system to capture the rain which was within budget from our insurance company to ensure we didn't have this problem in the future. The crew was very friendly and made many accommodations for my wife and kids to ensure their days were not interrupted or disrupted as they are home schooled. There were many occasions my girls would go outside to "inspect" the work and the crew was very kind and playful with them. We really enjoyed all the guys and their polite and friendly nature. Nick was also great when it came time to work with the insurance company. He helped me to get the right pictures i would need to support my claim and was there to help point out areas where the issue was water damage and where it was just a really bad repair job from a prior contractor (before we bought the house). This was all validated by the insurance adjustor who came out and confirmed everything nick showed me which allowed me to not be surprised by my insurance companies choices in what could and could not be covered. We have and continue to recommend Taber Residential to all our neighbors and friends. You can't go wrong with this crew and company! read more

Nick is very nice and always responds to your phone calls or messages. We had our basement re modeled and Nick told us it would take 6 -8 weeks. It ended up taking four months because many things needed to be redone 2 and three times. I also was disappointed in the way his crew time and time again would not cover our furniture and belongings and allow them to get trashed by the spackling and dust. A couple of his go to guys are unskilled and we have since had to hire in other help to come in and fix the grout in our bathroom and repaint a stairway that was painted 3 times but still not done correctly. Not sure why things fell apart for our project but Nick obviously felt bad as he never collected the last part of our balance for the project. I would not recommend him to my friends. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. Nick Taber and his team at Taber Residential are exceptional at what they do. We have worked with Nick for over a year now on 4 different projects in our Roswell home. Our Ensuite bathroom, basement, kitchen and another full bathroom were all transformed by Taber Residential. Nick and his team are not just amazing at the craftsmanship, but what really sets them apart is the customer service - they take it to a whole new level! Even before we start our first project with Nick he went above and beyond! We called him the day after Christmas because our basement had flooded! And he and a few of his guys were out sameday to help us minimize the damage. It flooded again 2 months later (long story) and again he was there to save the day. This year, after our kitchen and hall bathroom projects were complete guess who got a phone call on Christmas Eve? Nick! His team was out right after Christmas to take care of a plumbing issue (that ended up not being renovation related!). The pictures below speak for themselves in terms of quality of work. We love Taber Residential. They did a magnificent job on our addition and basement! The deck they built us is almost magical. We sit out there and enjoy being able to enjoy nature and not have to worry about the elements. We find ourselves out there for hours at a time! Our basement was originally going to be our pool table and gaming room area, but in the middle of the project my parents had to move in with us. They were amazing at working with us to help make my parents comfortable in their new home. My parents started calling it their apartment but with all the time they get with their grandchildren it has now officially called "The Clubhouse". Every detail is spectacular to the gorgeous counter top (which matches my kitchen upstairs) to the barn door that goes into our gym. Their customer service is so spot on and they never leave you hanging without an answer. You will be beyond happy if you choose Taber Residential. read more

Taber Residential deserves higher than a 5 star rating! Our house had extensive water damage and Nick, Michelle and Mary were great in working with our insurance company. We also wanted to add a bedroom/bathroom on our main floor for our daughter with global disabilities. Out of 4 contractors that came to our home, Nick was the only one who asked questions relating to her needs and, when given a difficult floor-plan, he developed an out-of-the box solution that would meet her needs! (Two contractors told me it was not possible and one ran from the project). The day we were set to sign our contract, we tragically lost our precious daughter. It was like Nick had attended trainings on how to handle situations like this. He made restoring our home a priority. Every single person who walked through our door was incredibly respectful of our loss, hard working and talented at their craft. We even learned through neighbors/friends that some of the crew had offered us up in prayer in their small groups. In our grief and the rush to make our home comfortable, we did have some complications and made some mistakes ourselves. Nick was ALWAYS responsive and his number one priority was making his customer happy. I cannot recommend Taber Residental highly enough. I trust this company implicitly and plan to use them in the future. read more

I wanted to brag on a local company that went above and beyond for me today. I have used Taber Residential for work in my previous house (finishing a basement) and in my current house (replaced deck, painted house inside and out). I have always been very happy with their work and the quality is top notch. Well today I found out that I had some water damage to my flooring and didn't know what was causing it. My husband was at work and couldn't leave while I was at home with our kiddos. I called Taber Residential and thankfully they were able to come out and check out the situation. Instead of wanting to start off with extreme measures (ie: start cutting through my walls, ripping out flooring, and racking up a huge bill) he was able to find the problem which thankfully wasn't major and an easy fix. I am an Insurance Agent and have seen how costly and serious water claims can be so I was very worried when I discovered the damage. The first call I thought to make (after my hubby of course) was Taber Residential b/c I wanted someone I trusted. I have heard horror stories from people being taken advantage of from bad contractors and it's heartbreaking. Never rec'd an estimate after Nick came to see the projects (3-4 weeks already.) No follow up calls.

Do not hire, run the other way. If you are looking to hire someone for painting, maid cleaning or finishing, Nick can get his followers to handle that. However, If you are looking to do any construction without cutting corners, expect proper supervision and direction of subs, good communication between customer and Taber company down to subs doing the work, experience no external/internal water issues from work performed, work to be done as promised or stated, timely and concern for children in your home; then don't hire, look for someone else and respectfully run the other way. Unfortunately, Nick is a charmer, does not take responsibility for what happens to a project under his (lack of) care. Seems to white lie to his wife\partner Michelle about how projects are going. Blames customer (or anything he can come up with) for when issues arise - does not take any ownership for own faults. Constantly looks for loop holes to not do something right. Easiest flag to spot...Nick will talk a good game as he thinks his main job is to charm customer and could care less about work being or to be done. He will try not to sign a contract that has all the details or total scope of work agreed upon by using some excuse (Example, "If we added everything the contract would be 52 pages long and I'm not going to waste my time doing that") and hope that you will trust his words and he will do whatever he wants to do and focus on getting new customers and not take proper care of existing projects - hopes his subs will do that, who no nothing about what was promised or stated nor given direction at the site other than a few phone calls. Very inexperienced at quality construction compared to others. Is solely concerned about money he can make then taking care of customer or meeting a deadline or even finishing a project. read more
