He did it in a professional and timely manner, pretty satisfied with his good attitude and willingness to impart knowledge- he definitely knows his stuff. My family and I recently had our roof replaced by Accent Roofing Service. We initially contacted them for a quote and Matthew returned our call. Within a couple days he was out at our house to do an inspection. He brought samples and materials for us to read through about the company, replacing the roof, and other customers' experiences. We considered just having a repair done, but Matthew promised us a good price on the full roof replacement. We did a little more shopping around and found that no other company could match their price or reputation. We had some delays in calling them back, but a few months later Matthew was still able to honor the price he quoted us. History About 4 years ago I had my roof replaced and the trifling roofers opted to NOT replace my pipe boots (21 year old pipe boots, mind you). One of them wound up leaking and I hired Atlanta Roofing Specialist (ARS) to replace all three of them. For some reason, the same one that leaked initially started to leak again within a few months. They came back out and then that same book started leaking again around the end of last year. ARS came back out and we couldn't find the source of the leak. The attic was bone dry, yet the ceiling had a brown spot that was steadily growing. I was getting a bit frustrated, so I decided to just hire another company to try to resolve the issue. I was impressed with Accent Roofing Service's nearly 100% positive rating from hundreds of what appeared to be actual, genuine customers, written over a steady and lengthy period of time. Instead of hundreds of fake reviews all written within the last 6 months like a lot of roofing companies. Lol. Customer Service They have a couple of different phone numbers but they seem to be super responsive, with regards to answering the phone. They were able to get me scheduled for a leak inspection within 72 hours of my call so that was greatly appreciated. Adam Cherry was he rep that came out. He was very courteous and super knowledgeable. He used a drone to photograph the roof and spent a considerable amount of time inside the attic too. Very cool drone photo attached. He also showed me some fairly alarming photos of my roof ridge vent. I received my repair estimate that same evening. Pricing I'm not sure how their prices compare to other competitors because they were the only people I got an estimate from. My original roofing company very graciously wound up taking care of the repair. Overall Overall I had a great experience with this company. I researched and called. The favorable side is they have 5000 - 5 star reviews and they have done over 50,000 roofs - but just a few reviews state - no follow up or call backs. I felt like Accent really didn't need my business. I had many questions ax this was new to me. And I was given a packet to read. Initially my calls were answered. But after rep left , I had questions reading the info - I had many questions . I felt I better to text or write. And I did before the weekend. A new roof was a stressful process for me as a female. On the Monday I received a returned call, not apologizing for no response to text or mymud mid week calls or why until I continually pressed for an answer. In essence it came across like or I perceived it was insinuated until you sign, I am not really obligated. I want to do business with people who want my business. I felt like I am one more drop in the 5 star / 50',000 roofs bucket. I think they would use quality products and workmanship but if the company is not responding to me in the initial process, I wouldn't feel good about the whole process going forward . So I went back to my research methods of going to the BBB website and Yelp and Google and looked for other companies offering the same quality products and really quick return calls. I wanted so much to like this roofing company. They have a really good website. The owner, Tom Scribbins, came to my home and talked to me for a while with a low pressure, let's develop a trusting relationship and do business over the years kind of talk. Sounded good to me. Unfortunately, he did not follow through with a promised roof inspection (supposed to be the next day). After several days I contacted his company who didn't know what was going on but would contact Tom. Got a message that Tom was attending to family matters out of state, but would have a proposal for me on Friday. Told him I understood and not a rush, but to please keep me informed of what's happening re my roof. Friday comes and goes, but again no word from Tom. Am I supposed to contact his company again to check up on him and see if he is doing anything about my roof? If I have to chase after a company for their business, I guess my business is not very important to them. And that's a signal to keep looking. Tom told me he has been in the business for 47 years, but maybe it is time for him to retire? Getting back to customers who are needing to get their roof fixed seems like it would be good for his business. If he can't handle it due to personal reasons, I can understand that. Life happens to all of us. But, can't he hand it off to another of his staff? Or at least let me know he is delayed? Maybe they do good work if you can get them to follow through. I had a shingle come away from a dormer area on my roof. I called 1/9 and was able to make an appointment with ease. A person answered the phone instead of an automated system. The lady was very nice and friendly. They arranged for Jason to come out on 1/10. He called me the evening of the 9th to confirm a good time. He was here early before the scheduled time. After 18 years and some storm damage, we knew we needed to replace our roof. Our neighbors recommended Accent so we contacted them. Phillip came out a few days later to assess the damage and discussed the process and options with me. He was very nice and followed up while we got our insurance to give us an estimate. We got quotes from 2 other recommended roofers in the area and Accent beat them on price plus I liked how responsive Phillip was, how easy the scheduling process was, and how fast they could get us on the schedule to replace the roof so we went with Accent. They promised a 1 day job and showed up at 6:30am to start laying out tarps to protect our shrubs and catch debris, moving patio furniture to protect it, etc. Even though there was a 2 hour rain delay and it was a Friday afternoon, the supervisor (Bobby) and whole crew stayed to finish everything up, even though that meant they stayed until 8:30pm! A 14 hour day for them and the crew was still smiling by the end. They did a great job cleaning up everything, even taking the shop vac up to our attic to clean up any debris from installing the ridge vents. I appreciated that the crew focused on safety too with their harnesses. They also fixed our gutters in a few spots for no extra charge. Phillip emailed the next day to make sure we were satisfied and to answer any questions. I was concerned about the slight smell of asphalt (apparently that can be normal in GA during July!) but just in case he had the quality control guy call me the next day. They even paid for the few flowers the crew accidentally squished with the equipment (we have a small yard and there was a lot of equipment to fit in!). This company does a great job to start the person they sent out to give a quote actually got on the roof which was actually surprising because the other three companies that came out didn't even bother get on the roof they just look at it and gave me a quote without ever stepping foot on it. To be honest their quote was so low I was a little concerned until I spoke with the estimator and he showed me how much knowledge he had regarding roofing and I felt much more at ease. Once all of the contracts were signed a contract with them the next day and they had somebody out there that same week to have the roof completely replaced. If you can request a crew please be sure to ask Sandy at accent roofing if you could have Jose and his crew they did an awesome job spent 12 hours on my roof making sure every single part was taken care of and explaining to me any issues they were having when they finished up for the evening they cleaned my yard and my driveway and blew off everything to make sure that it was all clean and organized. What an amazing experience from beginning to end. Phillip and Accent Roofing were absolutely, bar none, the ultimate in professionalism. Phillip came out and inspected the roof, noted the wind damaged shingles, and went to bat for me with my insurance company. The insurance company came out and met with Phillip, inspected the roof, and determined it should be replaced and covered by the insurance. Phillip walked me through the process. He was easy to understand and straight forward. He is sincere and you can tell he knows the industry inside and out. Never once did I feel like he was trying to take advantage. The roofing materials were delivered on Thursday. The roofing crew arrived as scheduled on Friday morning at 7:30am. All I can say is, that crew is a fine tuned machine!! Every crew member knew their specific tasks down to a tee. They had all the shrubs covered and protected within minutes. The old roofing was removed, old vents were removed, rotted roof board was replaced, and a high efficiency ridge vent was installed. The roof paper went down, then the shingles. By 6:30 they were completely finished. The entire yard was like they had never been there, Except I now have a beautiful new roof with GAF High Definition Architectural shingles!!! I have a steep and large roof with lots of angles. I think, if I remember correctly it was about 35-40 squares. Most Professional Experience I have ever had with a contractor. read more

We were very pleased with Accent Roofing. They worked with our homeowners insurance and got our new roof completely paid for due to some storm damage a few months back. Overall they were easy to work with and always showed up to appointments on time. The only complaint we had was that once the insurance company approved our claim, an Accent Roofing rep came out to our house to go over the next steps of the process with us, and wanted a large deposit up front before the work was completed. That made us nervous, so when a different representative called to actually schedule to the work, we told him we didn't want to pay anything until the job was done, which he agreed to without hesitation--he said he wasn't sure why the other rep had told us that. We live out of state and were informed by our property manager that following a series of storms, many of the roofs in the neighborhood, including ours had been impacted. Per yelp review ratings, we decided to call Accent Roofing and so glad we did! We cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, they kept us informed at every point. Everyone we dealt with from reception to project manager were courteous, responsive, professional and pleasant to work with. Bobby responded to every query, every email, every call and every text immediately! Additionally, Bobby was extremely accommodating to our schedule. With our property under contract, they met deadlines and completed the work before inspection, especially considering that they were scheduling at six weeks out, yet they were able to work on our property within a week of us signing the contract! Creighton called the day before the work was to begin to go through what was to be expected...again, very professional and very pleasant to speak with. Being out of town, we unfortunately did not get to see the end product, but are assured that it was quality work. The roof replacement was completed the same day. So impressed was I with the first go-around that, when the time came for a different roofing job, I gave Accent a call and was relieved to find them still doing business. I had to wait 2-3 weeks for them to come out just because it was the rainy season and they were busy but no biggie because they were worth the wait. The representative who gave me the quote was friendly and informative. The gentleman who did the repair was appalled at the previous repair and had an incredible work ethic who went above and beyond to make sure I got the correct shingle color. We were hit with storm damage, had a roof leak, high heating bills and needed a new roof on our 12 year old home. In comes "The Leaksmith" Accent Roofing Service in Lawrenceville. I contacted them at the recommendation of a neighbor and arranged a COMPLIMENTARY roof inspection. Needless to say the old roof came off and a new one was installed a few weeks later. Here's a recap of our experience.... 1) We received an extremely thorough inspection and consultation. 2) They WERE NOT PUSHY like several "companies" are known to be. 3) They were PATIENT with my indecisiveness in selecting the shingle color 4). Day of the job...they showed up 18 minutes EARLY and finished ON TIME. 5) At the end of the job, they used a magnetic machine to scan for nails and cleaned up our property AND the gutters. 6) Had a crew of 6 contractors plus a crew leader working on our roof...all were professional, courteous and finished our roof as promised by our Project Manager Troy. 7) Our heating bill has dropped drastically due to the cool addition to the roof that prevents air to escape from the roof. I don't want to put any of their "competitors" on blast but two just weeks ago my neighbor had their roof replaced and they only had 2 people, working 3 1/2 days, to complete their roof...which is slightly smaller than ours. We had storm damage from the Atlanta ice storm on our home and during that time some of our roof tiles were blown off the house. Unfortunately, the original shingles weren't available any longer so our entire roof had to be redone. We noticed one of our neighbors was using Accent so we talked with them and got the number for the salesman. The Accent person came to our home the vary next day....wrote a report for us to submit to our insurance. The Accent person then met with our insurance company on our behalf and worked out the details for replacing the roof. Within two weeks the Accent team was onsite installing our new roof. We were extremely happy with the care Accent took in working on our house from installation to cleanup. They did they entire job in 1 1/2 days from start to finish.
